Chapter 1364: Extra Story (Part 1)

In just the first month of Xiaoxiao starting kindergarten, her parents were already called in.

Early in the morning, Liang Anya, who had just opened her hi-cake shop, received a call from the kindergarten teacher.

Xiaoxiao’s homeroom teacher said that her daughter had gotten into trouble at kindergarten.

She quickly hung up the phone and prepared to close the shop. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Xiaoxiao had just joined a very famous local bilingual international kindergarten.

This kindergarten had limited enrollment opportunities. Xiaoxiao missed the registration period, and it was only with Liang Anya pleading with the principal and Xiaoxiao impressing them during the assessment that she was able to join mid-term.

This little ancestor of hers must not lose her spot because of some mischief!

Two tall and strong figures at the door saw her pulling down the rolling door and immediately stepped out: "Hall Master’s wife."

Although she had registered in China long ago, she was still not used to being called anything like "Madam."

Liang Anya reiterated, "First, don’t call me ’Madam Hall Master’. This is China, and if people hear, they might think I’m running some shady business. Second, could you not stand by my shop every day? You’re affecting my sales."

The two Beiming Hall subordinates exchanged a glance: "It’s Master Si’s orders; we dare not disobey."

Even though Si Yuheng had long disbanded Beiming Hall and was now the big boss of NH, the title of Hall Master was so ingrained that the subordinates couldn’t change it.

Helpless, she let it go and continued to pull down the store door.

The two quickly offered, "Hall... Miss Liang, are you heading out for something? Do you want us to mind the store for you?"

Two foreigners with fierce faces minding the store? Customers wouldn’t be scared off!

She shook her head quickly, locked up, and hurried off to the kindergarten.

Upon entering the office, she saw Xiaoxiao standing next to the teacher’s desk, looking defiant and unyielding.

Beside her was a little boy about her age, crying with abandon, holding his butt: "Waaa~~~ Teacher~~ Waaa~~ Xiaoxiao hit my butt~"

Xiaoxiao seized the moment the teacher wasn’t looking to flash her baozi-sized fist, threatening in a low voice, "Want to say it again?"

The little boy was so scared he stopped crying.

Liang Anya gasped, "Xiaoxiao!"

The teacher looked up as Xiaoxiao’s parent arrived, and sternly asked, "Xiaoxiao’s mom, correct?"

"Yes, I am Xiaoxiao’s mom," she nodded, "What happened with Xiaoxiao, teacher?"

The teacher pointed at the two little baozi, "As you can see, Xiaoxiao hit a classmate."

Liang Anya quickly pulled Xiaoxiao over, "Xiaoxiao, what happened? Why did you hit him?"

Before Xiaoxiao could speak, someone barged in angrily, "Who hit my son?"

A woman draped in luxury brands, of considerable size, rushed in and was startled to see that it was Xiaoxiao, a little four-eyed girl, who had hit her son. She glared hatefully at her son for his lack of courage - useless!

Then she rolled up her sleeves, sizing up Liang Anya and Xiaoxiao.

This little girl seemed to be a new student at the kindergarten, having attended for less than one or two months, and hadn’t been known to come from any powerful family background.

Her voice suddenly rose, "A little girl like you fighting, are you a little ruffian? How did your parents raise you?"

Liang Anya pulled Xiaoxiao behind her, "Ma’am, let’s listen to what the kids have to say first, there might be a reason."

Although Xiaoxiao was mischievous, she wouldn’t hit someone without reason. Perhaps the other child had provoked her?

Liang Anya firmly believed that Xiaoxiao wouldn’t be unreasonably bratty and defiant.

"What’s there to say? Trying to argue?" The hefty woman turned to the teacher, "Didn’t I say this kindergarten should be careful about admitting students? Now look, letting in all kinds of troublemakers - unruly, improperly raised little ruffians with no father’s guidance! I demand this little hooligan be expelled today!"

The teacher quickly tried to placate, "We will educate properly, please calm down..."

The hefty woman rudely interrupted, "Calm down? My son was beaten and I should reason? I don’t care, expel this young hooligan today! Otherwise, I’ll tell other parents and make them see how this kindergarten manages students!"

"Kids fighting is normal, it’s not grounds for expulsion. Let’s first find out the reason."

"I don’t care about the reason! Just expel—"

Before she could finish, the office door was kicked open.

With a "boom," everyone in the office was stunned.

The little boy, already crying, saw a fierce-looking foreign man enter, and burst into even louder sobs!

The hefty woman’s eyes widened at the two men who entered.

The door kicker was a foreigner.

The man who followed was a classic East-West hybrid, with an exceptionally tall and slender physique beneath a black custom trench coat, exuding an imposing, hawk-like aura.

If not for the man’s cold and stern expression, the hefty woman would have thought he had stepped off an international fashion runway.

As soon as Xiaoxiao saw him, she rushed over, "Daddy!"

Si Yuheng bent down and scooped up his sweet little girl with one arm, his gaze naturally drifting over to the hefty woman, as sharp as an eagle.

Having heard from hi-cake’s staff that Liang Anya hurriedly closed the shop and went to the kindergarten, he knew something must have happened with Xiaoxiao there.

When he arrived, he vaguely heard that Xiaoxiao had hit someone.

Hit someone?

He wondered what the big fuss was, scolding his precious daughter! So what if she smacked that boy’s butt a few times!

His heir, let alone hitting someone, even if it were something worse—

They dared suggest expelling Xiaoxiao!

Dad... Daddy? The hefty woman was in a daze; this man was actually the father of the little four-eyed girl?

Liang Anya pursed her lips, what an ’idol’, more like colossal. Since learning she had such a father, Xiaoxiao idolized him.

Seeing Liang Anya’s discontented look, while holding his precious daughter with one hand, Si Yuheng glanced towards the door-kicking subordinate, frowning, "I told you not to be so rough. This is a kindergarten; don’t scare the kids."

He initially wanted to send Xiaoxiao and Xiaobao to study in A Country, where they offered one-on-one aristocratic teaching.

But Anya wasn’t willing; she wanted Xiaoxiao to grow up grounded, like other children.

So, he went along with her wish.

The subordinate scratched his head awkwardly, "I was worried about Madam and Miss getting bullied. In the heat of the moment, I forgot my manners."

Saying that, he put on a friendly face for the wailing little boy, spreading his arms and using a gentle tone he’d never used in his life:

"Little friend, don’t be afraid, Uncle will give you a hug—"

"Waaa—" The boy, terrified, cried even louder!

Scary foreign uncle!

White skin, blue eyes, golden arm hairs! Far bigger and more intimidating than the foreign teachers at the kindergarten, he looked so fierce!
