" You there..." Su Ping glanced at one of the zombie kings.

" Y-Yes your majesty." The first zombie king he summoned, replied.

" You'll lead your other brethren to complete a task for me." Su Pings eyes glowed a menacing purple black before vanishing, frightening the zombie kings. He then told told the zombie kings the plan he had in mind for them.

" As you wish your majesty. Please leave it to us."

' If they're able to pull this off, then I might not even have to worry about reaching the adolescent form of the next evolutionary stage.'

' Hopefully the city won't be able to react in time. Giving me enough time to reap more benefits from this... As for those thugs. They shouldn't be able to last long during this endeavor.'

" Emilia." Su Ping suddenly called the vampire to his side.

" Yes your majesty!" The Vampire stiffened before responding in kind. Her silver hair swaying as she hurried to his side.

" We're leaving." Su Ping shifted into a black Raven, retrieved his clothes, before flying into the sky. Emilia shifted into a silver furred bat before following right after.

The both of them flew away from the forest before approaching the city walls. They easily made it back into the city from over the city walls without attracting any attention.

Following Su Ping's lead, they arrived at the inn, the both of them entering Su Ping's apartment through the window.

" Darling you're back." Melinda smiled and hurried over. Su Ping shifted back into his human form In a puff of dark mist, before putting on his clothes in less than a split second, then hugged her.

" I'm sorry i took so long. I hope no one missed me." Su Ping chuckled. He then crouched down to hug Mel and Sal who had come running over.

" Daddy, who's the strange lady?" Mel who was excited to see her father, blinked at Emilia who had returned to her original appearance.

" Is she a friend of your's daddy?" Sal asked, clearly curious.

Melinda also had a curious look though she wasn't alarmed by her presence. She glanced at her husband instead, awaiting his answer.

Su Ping simply smiled before glancing at Emilia. She stiffened when his gaze finally landed on her.

" Please forgive my rudeness. My name is Emilia Ronswood, and I'll be your acting maid from henceforth. I hope you accept me with open arm's." Emilia introduced herself before giving a curt bow. Yet her disposition still screamed nervousness. Well it partly had something to do with the 5 death knights in the room as well as Su Ping's presence.

" Darling, can I have a word with you..." Melinda smiled at Su Ping.

" What for..." Su Pings lips creeped upwards, into an awkward smile, while he secretly cursed Emilia inwardly.

" There's just something I wish to discuss with you, in private." Melinda's smile turned even more stiff which made Su Ping more reluctant. He didn't want to listen but , feeing her gaze lingering on his body far longer than usual, he finally gave in and followed her into the restroom.

" Should I be worried..." Melinda said the instant she closed the door behind her. The both of them weren't worried Emilia would try anything since the 5 Death Knights were still present within the room.

" What do you mean. What reason could there be for you to be worried?" Su Ping smiled while inching towards her before placing his hands on her shoulders as if trying to massage away the tension in her body.

" You never said you were planning on kidnapping a homeless woman the last time you left."

' H-Homeless woman?' Emilia who was ease dropping and Su Ping who was behind Melinda, froze momentarily from her remark, Emilia's cheeks burning with a mix of indignation and embarrassment.

' Well she could use some new clothes and a bath...' Su Ping thought to himself.

" Sweetheart, she's not a homeless woman. Well she is homeless and technically a woman"

' What do you mean technically?!' Emilia almost said out loud but was quick to restrain herself.

Noticing his wife's current strange expression, Su Ping knew he had to say something to dispell her worries so he simply came up with a story. Well it was basically the story Emilia had told him but with a few twiks from him.

" So you see. I can't simply let her go back to where she came from unless she'd just continue to suffer, so, I decided I might as well take her in."

" I've been planning on moving so you don't have to worry about her sharing a room with us." Su Ping added when he noticed his wife was awfully silent.

" Who say's I mind..." Melinda cut him off, looking wronged as if he'd labeled her a heartless person. " But getting our own place isn't a bad thing either." She added with a secret look of joy on her face.

With that settled, The both of them exited the washroom. Su Ping frowned a little when he noticed a strange look of gratitude on the vampire heiress's face but he shrugged it off.

" Well Emilia, Since you'll be staying with us from now on, please allow us to introduce ourselves." Melinda said before pointing at Su Ping.

" I'm sure you've already met my husband, I'd like you to call him brother from now on. I'm sure he seems like the distant and cold type but once you get to know him, you'll notice that he's awfully kind and gentle."

" B-Brother? Are you sure ma'am?" Emilia stuttered in disbelief, she secretly glanced at Su Ping, the same man that made her feel like a lamb on a chopping block moments earlier was the person she was supposed to address as brother? The thought of it caused a faint pressure to bear down her shoulders.

" If it's too much for you, Your majesty should do just fin–" Su Ping said, only to wince when Melinda jabbed him in his side.

" Brother works fine, I actually kinda like it." He forced a smile, his eyes trained on Melinda who smiled back at him.

She then went on to introduce Mel and Sal. The both of them seemed really happy with the idea of having her as a maid which secretly made Su Ping feel satisfied.

" Thank you ma'a– I mean big sis." Emilia said, flashing an apologetic smile. The children's enthusiasm was infectious, and Emilia's nervous smile warmed slightly, her shoulders relaxing.

" Well I'll leave you two to it." Su Ping said before heading out the door.

' Time to make good on my word. The rooms already getting cramped due to the 5 death Knights, adding Emilia into the mix would just make things more unbearable.'

' I've still got quite some funds left over so let's see if I can purchase a nice place for Melinda and the kids. And Emilia to, I guess.' Su Ping sighed while walking down the inn-stairs.

" Good day Mr Su." Annabel greeted Su Ping with a warm smile as he walked past the counter.

" You don't have to greet me everytime you see me..." Su Ping sighed at her antic's. Dealing with warped people wasn't as easy as one thought.

" I've noticed that there aren't as much people here as of late, did something happen?" Su Ping asked, his body leaning against the counter, his hand holding up his chin.

" I'm sorry Mr Su but it seems more and more people are becoming affected by that incident that was discovered earlier today, some even cancelled their reservations on hearing the news.' Annabel sighed dejectedly. " My guess is they're probably thinking of leaving the city... Honestly I can't blame them, even my parents were terrified when they heard the news."

" Who knew such a thing happened right under everyone's noses with no one being able to detect it."

" Hehehe, well that sounds like terrible news. Your parents aren't looking to close up the inn because of this, are they?"

" Well... I–"

" Great then, please hand this to them for me the next time you see them." Su Ping placed a contract parchment in her hand before she could finish her sentence. " I'm sure they won't be dissatisfied with its contents." Su Ping smiled.

Annabel blinked, staring at the contract in her hand. " Mr Su, This is?" When she raised her head, she realized that Su Ping was already gone.

' Now to go house hunting...' Su Ping walked into the bustling streets, his eyes roaming about while the sun's rays pelted his form.

He continued down the street only after he took several steps did he realize that he had no idea what to do when purchasing a proper home. In the end, he decided to head to the bar.

" M-Master? You're back." Vivian looked surprised when she saw him take a seat by the counter.
