She snarled, shifting into a humanoid wolf form resembling a werewolf, she didn’t have enough energy to revert to her full wolf form but she still barely managed to reach this one.

Her speed increased several fold and she emerged beside Su Ping who was mid air again, her eyes gleamed like crescent moon’s as she delivered her most destructive attack yet. A destructive kick that heated the very air itself.

"Don’t you think it’s gotten too old already!" The Wolf King flinched when Su Ping who was mid air, his body flat, facing upwards, grabbed her heel with one arm.

CRACK!

Su Ping gnashed his teeth when he felt all the bones in his right arm crack, his muscles tearing in several locations when he stopped her attack.

But he wasn’t done there, in that split second, he used his aching arm to pull her body. His body twisting as he slammed her on her face.

BOOM!!!

A huge creater formed, dust clouds rising into the air. The Wolf King who couldn’t retaliate in time, reverted back into her human like appearance. Her body bounced up, she involuntary coughed up a mouthful of blood and teeth, from the blow.

Su Ping slowly got back up on his feet, huffing and panting while holding onto his right arm that looked like a mess, dangling while bleeding to the point of being drenched in blood.

His eyes glowed purple black as he mimicked the Abyssal blood tree sprouts regenerative ability. The next moment, the wounds all over his arm and body, slowly closed up, stopping his bleeding, both external and internal, in a few seconds, his wounds were completely healed.

" You sure you’re a wolf? If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re a darn roach instead." Su Ping chuckled as he approached the Wolf King that was still trying to get back up on her feet, her elbows trembling as she tried to push her upper body up.

" Arck!" She chocked when Su Ping grabbed her by the neck, lifting her up into the air.

Instead of fear, she glared at him, her eyes brimming with hatred as she clawed at his hands, while kicking him but, Su Ping continuously mimicked the Abyssal blood tree sprouts regenerative ability to heal each blow, no matter how severe. Fortunately the little energy she had been able to muster soon ran out, making her completely helpless in his arm.

Staring at the huge beast like woman, struggling in his grasp. Su Ping didn’t know whether to feel glad that she had helped him increase his strength, or helpless that she still hated him so much.

" Maybe this should do the trick..." Su Pings eyes glowed purple black, the faint marking in them becoming a bit more visible as he began to warp her mind.

He wasn’t sure how it would turn out. Victoria’s case still left him feeling sceptical but he had no other choice. He would rather have the Wolf King on his side than against him. Moreover, killing her would obviously be a waste since she was so powerful to begin with.

" If this works, you’ll be my first Lvl 3 rare tier subordinate... I’d say that’s a good turn out, don’t you think?" He chuckled, anticipating the future.

After some time, The glow in Su Ping’s eyes reseeded, along with the faint pattern within. He stared at the Wolf King who was now silent in his grasp, not retaliating like before.

’ Did it work?’ he wondered, gently setting her down but still alert in case she tried anything. He didn’t believe in his ability completely, sometimes it was better to be cautious.

Su Ping stared at the silent Wolf King, wondering to himself whether the illusion had suddenly made her mute but the next moment her pupils turned into slits, claws emerging in a split second as she pounced on him.

" A failure it is then..."

Su Ping who was alert, clenched his fists and threw a punch at her face without hesitation but.

"..?!!"

His fist stopped a centimeter from her face when he felt her luscious lips press against his, sealing off his breath in one swift motion.

" G-Get Off!" Su Pings mind spun like a wheel, he reacted a second later, pushing her off.

"..?!!" He stiffened when his push had no effect because her legs suddenly wrapped around his waist, his eyes widened when her hands wrapped around his neck the next moment, locking him in place.

" I said get off!" Su Ping didn’t like where this was going, shifting into his draconian form, he used the burst of energy to free himself from her, this time he retreated a few meters, eyeing her warily from a distance.

" Mate, don’t like?" The Wolf King wasn’t irritated by the fact he shoved her to the ground but sat up straight, pressing a hand against her lips while eyeing him with moistened eyes as if she was really hurt.

’ Just what the hell did I end up doing wrong this time...’ Su Pings mind clicked as he realized what had happened.

Since she was calling him her mate, it meant that to her, her mate must be the one person she obeyed or in this case, admired and loved, in her life and wouldn’t betray...

But the problem stood, he wasn’t her mate! And he had no intentions of being such. He already had 2 kids, one on the way, and a wife. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

’ Maybe I should just kill her to get rid of this blunder...’ Su Ping’s eyes flashed coldly as a sinister aura began to leak out of him.

" Huh?" But his aura dissipated when he sensed something approaching in the distance.

" A wild beast?" He turned around only to realize he was completely wrong, instead it was something he never expected to see.

Emilia as a bat, carrying Melinda and coming this way at a pretty fast speed.

Su Pings pupils unconsciously shifted into his slitted dragon eyes as he lost himself for a second.

[Dark Tentacles]

The Wolf King was confused when several tentacles popped out of his back like multiple appendages. The tentacles locked as if they were bulging, like literal muscles.

The next moment, Su Ping used the tentacles as well as his feet, to push off the ground.

Emilia who was carrying Melinda, shivered mid air, Melinda who was in her hands suddenly felt her surroundings blur but instead of being afraid, she smiled helplessly as if she predicted something like this would happen.

The next moment, she realized she was safely within Su Pings arms, back on the ground.

Emilia felt a chill down her spine, finally reacting. Her back was drenched with cold sweat because she wasn’t able to react in time to Su Pings movements.

" Why did you bring her out here?!" Su Ping glared at Emilia who just landed, her expression turned anxious as she trembled in fear from his icy gaze, if not because Melinda was in his arms, he would’ve released his killing intent as well.

Of all the things that could happen, Su Ping didn’t expect the both of them to come look for him all the way out here in the woods.

" Stop bullying Emilia, she has nothing to do with this." Melinda suddenly spoke up, looking sorry.

" I was the one who convinced her to bring me to you."

" But you could’ve been hurt! What if you encountered something else first?!" Su Ping snapped, fangs emerging again. But he froze, when he saw Melinda’s frightened look.

" I’m sorry..." Taking a deep breath, he calmed down. He then set her down on her own two feet.

" It’s ok... It’s my fault to begin with."

Melinda reached out a hand to caress his cheeks but blinked in surprise when another hand held hers, stopping her.

Melinda stared at the naked Wolf King, blinking her eyes as several questions flooded her mind but she snapped out of her mind when she sensed faint killing intent in the air.

" Darling please calm down!" Melinda was just in time to stop Su Ping who’s right hand had shifted into his draconian claws, claws centimeters away from severing the Wolf Kings wrist.

Su Ping gnashed his teeth, while glaring at the Wolf King yet he didn’t proceed to do anything more.

" Who is she?" Melinda asked, surprisingly calm.

" Just another failure..." Su Ping reverted his arm back to human form, though his right sleeve had been torn to a varying length.

" That’s not true! How can you say that" The Wolf Kings eye’s moistened, shaking as she stared at Su Ping, looking very much hurt, her hands shaking at her side’s.

She couldn’t understand why her mate was suddenly behaving this way, first he refused to be intimate with her, then he was rough with her, and now he was openly despising her.

No matter how hard she thought, she couldn’t understand why. What hurt her the most was seeing him act so protective over another female.
