"It’s over," Raze said, attempting to snap the neck of Aiden.

Aiden looked him right in the eye. "Screw you." He said in pure anger. The next moment, his soul energy rose, rushing through his entire body. Aiden let go of everything.

His power surged through his muscles until they bulged, even his neck got thicker and stronger. Raze was stunned to see this. He tried to make a move to shut Aiden down, but Aiden acted fast. He lifted both hands and swung down with an explosive force, hitting Raze’s hands and forcing himself free.

He landed on the ground, kicking back as fast as he could, putting some distance between them.

The moment Aiden was free from Raze, Zero unleashed her attack.

"Spatial Storm"

The space around Raze began distorting and twisting aggressively, everything around now could rip him to shreds if it came in contact with his skin.

Zero didn’t stop there, she caused the storm to enclose on him.

Raze looked around, he would be ripped to shreds if he stayed there. He flapped his wings to move through the spatial storm, but the group was prepared for that. Athena attacked.

The attack slammed into Raze, pushing him back again into the spatial storm. Instantly, the spatial distortions cut into his body, deep cuts that left him completely bleeding.

He crashed to the ground with a loud thud and didn’t move after that.

The group stayed put, they knew it wasn’t over, and it wasn’t, as Raze got back on his feet, all his wounds healed up instantly. He looked at the group, this time the sadness that he had felt for them completely vanished.

"Die," he said before shooting forward, a speed so fast it caused multiple sonic booms. None of them knew where Raze was. They looked around to find him but couldn’t, then from the sky, he descended like a falling angel.

By the time they saw him, it was too late. He stabbed into the ground, his sword dug deep and caused an explosion that shattered sound and space.

KaBoom

Everything shook. The group were all blasted apart, unable to do anything at all. While they were mid air, he launched forward, first target Zero.

She was an instigator, she saw the entire battlefield, and her space ability enabled her to create opportunities for the rest to attack. Taking her down first was crucial.

He dashed in her direction and swung down full speed for her head, but Zero had her own automated defense, her space wrapped around her as the attack came.

BOOM!

She coughed up blood and was shot backwards, her insides became a mess, but she was still alive. She shot through the air, slamming into the ground, rolling like a ball until she hit a broken building, shattering the walls and finally stopping.

Raze had no time to finish her off, as he had to handle his next target, Athena.

Aside from Aren, Athena possessed the greatest attack power. He had to bring her down next. He charged her right away, lunging a stab straight at her, but Athena had her defense. Her third eye opened and chaos met with the sword.

But the sword was divine, the power it carried was immense even if she was a user of chaos.

BOOM

An explosion rang out because of the collision. Athena coughed a mouthful of blood, her body bent forward, she flew backwards and right into a building. He didn’t go after her as well, he had to move onto the next target, Kira.

Kira had managed to gather herself a little by this time, so she readied a defense. She knew that there was no way she could evade or try to fight back while she was mid air, so the best that she could do was ready some sort of defense that would cover her.

Raze charged at her, and right when he was about to slash, she immediately covered that part of her body with the thickest layer of ice that she could. The sword hit, it shattered the ice, digging deep inside. It hit her side and blood gushed out, but due to the ice, the attack didn’t cut deep and lost a lot of momentum.

She was in immense pain as she hit the ground, but she wasn’t dead. Sadly, unlike the others, she didn’t get the luxury of getting thrown back, so she was about to get stabbed again to finish the job.

That was when Aiden came in like a rocket. "Arghhhhhhhhhh!" He slashed down with all his strength.

’We could all escape this. All of us had a crystal that with a single thought could take us away from this fight, this pain. We could run away from Raze.

But if we did, who would stand for Aren when Raze met him. When the time came, who would be with him. All of us fight now, not because we want to, but because when things got tough, Aren stood for everyone, so now, we stand for him.’ Aiden said in his mind as he slashed down.

BOOM

His attack was blocked, but the slash was so powerful that Raze was pushed a step back, and the ground beneath him cracked.

"I’ll die before I allow you hurt anyone here!" Aiden roared and proceeded to unleash a barrage of attacks, each one landing with destructive power that forced Raze back step by step.

’I know he is stronger. I know he can kill me. But I’ve never been one to think before acting. My impulse has gotten me this far, and right now, that same impulse is telling me to keep attacking. No breaks, no stops, no resting until I see my enemy on the ground.’

Sadly, the grit of man could do nothing when faced with the inevitable. Raze had enough. He then used one hand to parry an attack, the sword slashed through the hand and cut it off.

That action was enough to buy Raze time, as he lifted his sword and thrust forward, stabbing Aiden through the chest. The sword came out of the other side. Everything froze.
