Aren looked at Geisha who was approaching, he knew that if Geisha got any closer, their chance of escaping would dwindle, so he made a very quick decision, summoning the millipede and then using tendrils to wrap himself as well as everyone onto the millipede, who then shot through the east, heading upwards.

Geisha watched Aren escape, his lips curled into a smile, but he didn’t chase hastily, he could sense everything inside the city, there was no movement he couldn’t see, Aren would not escape.

The millipede burst out of the ground into the city above, and only now could everyone finally breathe, the pressure from Geisha was far, far lower.

"Cough cough." Aiden coughed, blood particles flew out, there was dread and worry on his face. "Is that Geisha?" He asked.

"Yes," Aren replied flatly.

"We don’t stand a chance." Luka stated.

"His presence alone almost knocked us out cold, fighting isn’t an option," Elena said.

"It’s definitely not an option, we have done what we can, we tried to stop the resurrection, but we failed, the best we can do is leave," Aren stated.

He looked at his group, "the rest of you can use the crystals to leave, while me, Luka, and Elena find a way out of this," Aren suggested.

"Don’t even start," Aiden shot down the idea.

"It won’t work." Zero stated, everyone looked at her, "even if you use the crystal, it won’t work. The presence of Geisha has sabotaged every space line that could be used to teleport out, everything within the space now is under his control." She explained, she could feel space, so she could tell. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

"Then we run." Aren said, the millipede immediately started rushing in one direction, so that they could get away as fast as possible, but then the ground exploded, an explosion so massive it caused a wave that ripped the ground for a hundred meters, blasting them and the millipede into the air.

Everyone landed on the ground safely, they all looked back and there they saw him, Geisha floating out of the ground calmly.

He stretched out his hands,

"Ahhh, the fine air, I’ve missed this, tch, how long has it even been? Is that War God still alive, he should be, I have a score to settle, but first, my vessel." He said and then looked down at Aren, eye to eye.

Everyone burst out in cold sweat as they looked at him, he began flying in their direction, but then out of nowhere a flying sword came rushing forward, it broke the sound barrier and kept accelerating, targeting Geisha by the head.

Only for Geisha to turn his head and look at the sword, "hmmmm." He stretched out his hand and grabbed the sword by the blade.

CLANG!

He looked at the blade with a blank expression, then squeezed his hand, instantly the blade shattered into particles, falling to the ground.

He turned, looking at the person that had attacked. It was the same man that had come when Aren had been fighting that lady in the city before.

"This is an unexpected turn in events," the man said, "you managed to shatter one of my swords so easily, that’s impressive," he said, speaking with a confident tone.

Geisha frowned, he looked at the man from head to toe and then spoke, "why did you attack me? Do you wish to fight me?" He asked.

The man looked at Geisha, confused. "Huh? Do I want to fight you? Well, seeing what you have caused for the awakened all around, I’d say I have no choice but to stop you." He said.

"What the hell is that idiot doing?" Luka asked, terrified.

"I don’t think he knows that he is facing Geisha," Elena stated.

"Tch, I don’t like you," Geisha said and lifted his finger, pointing it at the man. The man seemed to understand that Geisha wanted to fight, so he conjured several more swords, ready to attack.

Geisha looked at the swords and frowned, he flicked his finger and a wave of slashes ripped through the air faster than sound.

When the man felt the attack coming, he instantly felt fear, he used all his swords to attack the blades, but his swords were instantly slashed through and the attacks came raining down on his body, he was instantly covered with so many slashes that he looked like a butchered cow.

The blood poured from up there to the ground, his body soon followed, plummeting very fast, he hit the ground, no longer moving.

Only now after seeing this did the group understand the gravity of the issue that they were faced with. That man had been one of the chosen, one of the strongest new awakened, yet he was killed instantly.

"This is bad," Aiden said, they all watched as Geisha turned to look at them.

Aren gritted his teeth, there was no other choice, he had to use his trump card now to ensure that they had enough time to get away.

"I’ll buy us some time against Geisha, and we’ll have to run and find a way out of here," Aren said, and then stood up, he looked Geisha in the eyes and then closed his eyes for a moment.

"Summon the Son of Jotnar."

This was the first time that Aren received a warning before summoning any shadow, he looked at it, unsure of what action to take.

But the situation now didn’t allow for him to think for too long, he gritted his teeth, "summon it." He said.

Instantly, the shadows formed before him and from it came the Son of Jotnar in its human size, hammer in hand.

"Ack!" Aren instantly vomited blood, trying to use his hands to cover his mouth.

"Aren!" They all called out, he waved, signalling he was fine and then focused.

"This should buy us some time," he muttered.
