SSS Ranked Shadow Monarch: Summoning Infinite Shadows-Chapter 225: Meeting Aoi
As Aren approached the rubble, a massive stream of flames burst out toward him, but he wasn’t even slightly in the mood. He walked right through the flames, the intense heat didn’t even make him flinch. He walked straight through it and then proceeded to punch the gate guard in the face, shattering his nose. Blood splattered in every direction.
Aren proceeded to grab him by the neck and pull him forward, looking at him right in the eyes. "I said tell me where she is." He barked.
The guard groaned in pain, blood dripping down his face, but then a sudden smile formed on his face. He tried to summon something into his hand, a small cube-like device. Aren could instantly tell that it was a soul weapon, and instantly he moved, grabbing that hand and twisting it extremely hard. The cube was sent flying.
"Arghhhhhhhhhhh!" The guard screamed in pain. Aren followed up by slamming his face right into the ground, hard enough to crack the floor.
"WHERE IS SHE?" His voice thundered, the air trembled, his veins bulged, pure rage filled Aren’s heart, and the only reason that he had yet to kill this guard was the fact that he was the only way he could find Athena.
The guard tried his best to hold out, fighting against the urge to spill and stop this pain. He was a Blade, his pride could not be stepped on by someone like Aren. He couldn’t allow that ever.
Aren, seeing that he wasn’t ready to talk, bent down beside him, his eyes shining like that of a demon. "I never needed you to tell me, I’m asking only for your own good. I’ll get it out of you one way or the other." Aren said, his tone low and heavy.
"Screw you." The guard said in anger.
Aren looked at him, a slight look of pity in his eyes. "Consume." He called out, and instantly, shadows came from the ground and began consuming the guard.
"Arghhhhhhh!" The guard screamed, fear filling him in an instant. He looked at Aren. "Please, I’ll talk, please." He screamed from the bottom of his heart, pleading as much as he could.
"Sorry, it doesn’t stop when it has started." Aren said and then stood up. He watched as the shadows completely swallowed him.
Then, without hesitation, he immediately scanned for the memories of the guard. He was immediately pulled into the life of the guard, and Aren saw it all.
The life as a Blade family member, it wasn’t roses, it wasn’t sweet. Despite being from a royal family, all Aren could see was pain, pain, and pain. But he wasn’t here for all that. He scanned the memories even faster until he found out where the main Blade family was located.
Their location was within the Gods Domain, a city extremely far from where he was. It was isolated and belonged to the Blade family alone.
After he finished extracting that information, Aren stopped checking the memories of the guard. He came out of the mind, he didn’t have the time to waste there.
’How do I get there? Even knowing where it is, finding it and heading there on my own is going to be difficult.’ Aren thought. He racked his mind inside out until one single idea came. Aoi Blade.

Aren made his way back to the base of the Silver Tigers. He walked up to the gate and instantly, one of the guards there stopped him.
"Halt, you can’t go any further, this is private property." He stated.
’I don’t have the time for all of this, but I sadly can’t rush it.’ Aren thought. He drew a deep and very calm breath before speaking. "I want to see Lady Aoi." He said, sounding as respectful as possible.
The guard looked at him, and then looked at the guard beside him, and they instantly burst into laughter.
"Hahaha, good one kid. Now please go, there is no way you expect to see someone like that without an appointment. Get out before we force you." The guard said.
Aren frowned. He knew that these guards weren’t the ones that were here when he was here before, and even if they were, they had no need to remember him at all.
He gritted his teeth, this was do or die right now. Reaching Aoi was what was important, so he spread out his shadow sense to find her, and he did. He sensed her sitting in her office.
Aoi paused at that exact moment. She turned her head and looked in his direction, before standing up. She stared toward him like she could see him, which stunned Aren.
"Hey kid, I said get lost." One of the guards walked forward and shoved Aren back. Aren turned to look at him, his anger already spiking, but he swallowed it. Nothing good could come from fighting here.
He was about to turn around and walk off.
"Hey." He heard Aoi’s voice. The guards immediately bowed their heads when they saw her standing there, they didn’t notice when she arrived there at all. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
She looked at Aren with a smile and then spoke. "Come in." She said, but Aren shook his head.
"I simply need you to tell me the fastest way to head to your family town." Aren said.
Aoi frowned, she understood what was happening. "Let me guess, they took her." She said.
"Yes." Aren replied impatiently.
"Sigh." Aoi let out a tired sigh. "Give up, if someone from my family has taken the girl, then it’s over, there is nothing I can do." She said and then turned to leave.
"I’ll find it one way or the other and I’ll go there," Aren said with full conviction. Aoi paused. She turned around and looked at Aren.
"You’ll walk into your death." She said.
"Then so be it," He replied.
Aoi smiled. "Fine, come with me, at least gain some information that might help you out. Don’t worry, she won’t be killed." Aoi said.
