A massive thunderbolt descended upon Zheng Hongyuan. The aghast man thought it was an effect from the formation and wanted to dodge it, but realized that no matter how he moved, the thunderbolt remained locked onto him.

“No!!” he howled and turned to run. Although his injuries didn’t seem severe, he’d consumed a lot of his resources and his body was broken from all of the thunderbolts. The sword bearing down on him was also much stronger than any before.

Li Hao grit his teeth and continued his blow, despite his own body crumbling away.

You want to run? Where to?

“Lock onto him, Battle Heaven!”

The ancient city appeared and sealed off the vicinity. The ‘Battle Heaven’ characters fell down from Li Hao’s body, thudding into place like they weighed one thousand tons. The Battle Heaven Army cordoned off the premises, causing Zheng Hongyuan to look around wildly.

“My son will have no more reservations if you kill me!” he raged. “He will kill you! My son has great hopes for becoming an emperor, so how dare you, Li Hao!”
