Chapter 266: Competition Start (3)

"So weak?" Leon muttered when he watched his opponent fall to the ground and then walked out of the arena leisurely. The referee quickly announced that he had won while another teacher rushed to the fallen studnet to check his injuries.

"You’re not planning to keep any hole cards?" Evan asked when he saw Leon coming out of the arena.

"Should I?" Leon looked at Evan with a strange expression. "It’s not like there’ll be anyone worthy of my attention in the entire arena."

The others: "..."

Aya rolled her eyes and felt that Leon was getting more and more arrogant as time passed by. It seemed that the influence of the dark element was getting stronger and stronger the more Evan stayed in that dark room to practice.

But there was nothing that she could do.

The Black Family had a dark element and they had to learn to cope up with it if they wanted to advance.

So what Aya could do was to watch and wait.

The competition continued and Aya found out the few people they met today were in various blocks and their numbers were also quite different.

Dylan Black and his girlfriend Nana were in Block D along with Vincent Green, who’s Lisa’s student.

The other of Lisa’s student, Lance Felix was in Block C while Olen Ruby was in Block B

Rica Neo would not participate in the battle and would be in the magic showcase section. Thinking that she would combine alchemy with a magic show, Aya felt some interest.

After that, there were also the students of the Green Family Patriarch.

Hani Green didn’t participate, she might be similar to Yun, who was full support and would participate in the magic show instead.

Lucy Moon and Vance White would be in block A while James Ruler was in Block C.

Looking at it, there would be some interesting matchup.

The first round passed quickly and there was no upset. The three of them passed easily and then get ready to face their second opponent. In the second opponent, most of their opponents were still quite weak.

But for the third rounds, which would also continue today since the competition didn’t take that much time, they met some interesting opponents.

"Your opponent next is Lance Felix, Leon," Aya said when she saw the brackets. "The Felix Family focus on illusion, so you have to have firm will and remember to always circulate your mana to break through the illusion."

"I know." Leon frowned.

There was no one from the Felix Family in their year, so Leon had never fought with them. This competition could be said to be his chance to see their abilities.

"Why is it Leon again who had interesting opponents..." Dean grumbled.

"Your opponent next is Lucy Moon, Evan," Aya saw the name and a strange light flashed in her eyes. "Her transformation shape is almost perfect and she could turn into a wolf and inherit all of their characteristic."

"...How did you know so much?" Evan looked at Aya speechlessly.

Did Aya watch and record all the battles?

He didn’t even remember which one was Lucy Moon.

Aya smiled faintly and shook her head. The main reason why she remembered this name was because this was also a person recorded in that history book. Moreover, most of the transformation objects chosen by the Moon Family were wolves for some reason. There were only a few of them who chose different animals.

"She hadn’t used her transformation yet because her opponents are not weak. But when she face you, she’ll have no other choice but to use this transformation," Aya said unhurriedly. "Besides, she’s our former classmate, Evan."

"...I don’t remember." Evan scratched the back of his head.

After their team graduated, there was a second test for these children and then some of them were arranged to graduate including Josh who was very annoying. Otherwise, it would have been impossible for him to graduate early just based on his performance in the previous test against the ghosts.

And the five of them didn’t really have much interaction with the other classmates.

Well, they still remembered some others, though.

"Next battle!" The competition in Block C was over and Leon was called up. His opponent, Lance Felix also came up. He even added a brilliant silver color of scarf when he went up, aside from his previous attire.

The audiences looked at this scene and silently covered their eyes.

They felt that their sense of fashion was deeply insulted.

Leon’s lips twitched when he saw Lance’s appearance. In a battle, they had to look at their opponents but right now, Leon truly didn’t want to see Lance. Because he felt that the only thing he wanted to do was to complain about the other party’s ’sparkling’ and ridiculous clothing.

"You’re not ashamed of your clothing?" Leon asked in a confused tone.

"No." Lance smiled brightly.

He was very happy if his opponents were troubled by his choice of clothing. Because in this way, he would be able to use his magic to influence his opponents more than someone who was very stable and had no emotions.

Because their magic has always been targeted at their opponent’s emotions.

No matter what emotion it is, as long as there were emotions, it could be manipulated.

"Will he be fine?" Lilac frowned when she saw her brother’s expression. Even though the theory lessons in their classes were quite a lot, it didn’t really involve everything. Leon’s lesson was pretty good but he couldn’t be said to be the best.

But from the way he behaved, Lilac had the feeling that he had completely forgotten about those things.

"Probably not," Aya muttered in a low voice.

The best method to face the people from the Felix Family was to stay calm and restraint their emotions. Because whether it was happiness, anger, sadness, or any other emotions, it could be used by the people of the Felix Family to manipulate them to a certain degree.
