Yuan Zhantian wasn’t looking at them though. He was looking at a youthful, pure-eyed Taoist standing at the farthest edge of the Unbounded Platform.

When everyone’s eyes were set on him, a nervous expression immediately crept onto the young Taoist’s face.

“But... I... Er... Why is he asking for me?”

“Because he wants to fight you, duh!”

Yuan Zhantian yelled, “It’s been a few years since we last met, and you’re still acting like a coward? You’re the number one on the Earth Champions Ranking, for heavens’ sake!”

“Can... Can I not?”

The young Taoist said hesitantly, “I’m just here to enjoy the show, not fight.”

“Who are you lying to? How can you report back to your seniors if you don’t fight?” Yuan Zhantian scoffed.

“How... How did you know?” The young Taoist asked puzzledly.

“Tsk! Like you would ever partake in an event like this if you weren’t forced to!”

Yuan Zhantian said impatiently, “Anyway, get over here already! I want to have a go with you too after you’re done fighting the Mad Lord!”

“Ah... I have to fight you as well?” The young Taoist exclaimed in surprise and reluctance. “Can I not? I can drink with you instead!”

“You’ll drink with me, and you’ll fight me!”

The young Taoist tried to argue further, but Yuan Zhantian lost his patience completely and yelled again, “Cut the bullshit and get over already!”

“Ugh... fine!” The young Taoist finally, reluctantly, shuffled his way over to Yuan Zhantian and the others.

“Brother Li.”

“Good to see you, Brother Li.”

Mei Qihe and Bai Huaxian greeted the young Taoist after he came over.

“Good to see you too, Brother Mei, Miss Bai...” The young Taoist hurriedly greeted back with a reserved nod.

“He... He’s Li Qingping?”

“This... This cannot be! Is he really the number one of the Earth Champions Ranking, the one they call the Uncreated Dao Lord?”

The surrounding crowd immediately broke into whispers when they heard their conversation. Everyone was wearing a disbelieving expression on their face.

The “Uncreated Dao Lord” Li Qingping was the champion of the Earth Champions Ranking. He was also a living legend.

Li Qingping had suddenly entered the Earth Champions Ranking five years ago, and he was the champion right from the get go. Before this, he had never appeared on the Human Champions Ranking before, and there was zero information or stories regarding Li Qingping before that. Literally no one knew anything about him.

This was completely unlike everyone else on the Earth Champions Ranking, who was as famous and meritorious as they were strong. And yet, there was no denying that Li Qingping had claimed the top spot. He had never been dethroned since he ascended either.

Obviously, this was quite the anomaly. Many people suspected that Li Qingping did not exist at all, and that he was someone White Jade Capital had fabricated out of nowhere.

Li Qingping definitely existed though. After all, the prideful warriors at the top of the Earth Champions Ranking all acknowledged his superiority. The original champion of the Earth Champions Ranking, Three Origins Householder, had nothing but high praise for the man.

Three Origins Householder was born with a Dao Body, a Confucian Intent, and a Buddha Heart. So, he used the three different systems to create his core and forge the foundation of his Dao. Such was his power that people praised him as the greatest warrior for the past one hundred years of the Spring and Autumn Period.

The Three Origins Householder had never experienced a defeat since entering the jianghu. As a Half-Sage, he even fought Li Heihu, a Sage known as the Mountain Moving Lord, and emerged victorious. It was a feat that stunned the whole world at the time.

At the time, Lu Heihu was so impressed that he claimed that Xu Zhisheng would become the number one Sage when he entered the Sage-stage.

Xu Zhisheng was Three Origins Householder’s true name. It did not need to be said how high his evaluation of Three Origins Householder was.

However, Xu Zhisheng spared no effort to lavish praise upon Li Qingping. He was referring to the Uncreated Dao Lord, Li Qingping.

Ye Qing was the one doing the lifting, of course. In fact, he threw him straight at Li Qingping, Bai Huaxian, Yuan Zhantian, and Mei Qihe like a rock.

“Hahaha! I’m going first, guys!”

Yuan Zhantian laughed uproariously when he saw this. He rapidly swelled in size and transformed into a demon god hundreds of meters tall in the blink of an eye.

The demon god had two horns on his head and a pair of wings behind his back. His bones were his armor, and he was completely shrouded in flames. To say he looked impressive would be an understatement.

Right after he turned into a Bone Demon God, Yuan Zhantian caught the Southern Ghost Emperor with both hands—his right hand grabbing the Southern Ghost Emperor’s head, and his left hand the legs—let out a terrible roar, and pulled with all his might. Demonic flames gushed into the sky as he did.

The next moment, the screaming Southern Ghost Emperor was ripped in half.

Yuan Zhantian let out a barking laugh before swinging both halves of the ghost emperor’s body at Ye Qing.

“To not reciprocate is against etiquette, so here you go!”

Yuan Zhantian wasn’t just aiming at Ye Qing. Yue Wanfa, Xuanyuan De, and Haotian Chengxing were in the way as well.

After the trio hurriedly dodged out of the way, Yue Wanfa yelled angrily at him, “What are you doing, Yuan Zhantian? Are you trying to make an enemy out of the Earthly Sovereign Hall?”

“So what if I am?”

Yuan Zhantian replied disdainfully, “Many people are afraid of the Earthly Sovereign Hall, but not me. Keep buzzing like a fly, and I’ll beat you up as well.”

Anger burned inside Yue Wanfa’s chest like fire, but he did not dare to attack Yuan Zhantian. It wasn’t because he was afraid of the man, but because the Earthly Sovereign Bell was more important than his face.
