Joint Training Facility:

Inside the training room, Jeremy is practicing his katana sword moves. He is immersed in it. So much so that he forgets about the time.

Suddenly, he receives a call from Instructor Jacob. Seeing this, he immediately answers the call. The next second, he is shocked by Instructor Jacob's words. He ends the call before exiting the room.

Jeremy then looks around and finds a group of people beating Daniel Stone, while the rest of the people watch from the sidelines. No one is stepping forward to stop the fight.

Jeremy's eyes turn icy. He had not expected the other students to band together like this. Since they dared to attack, he will do the same.

Swoosh!

He disappears from the spot and is there in an instant. He raises his fist to attack, not planning to use his full strength. A simple brute force attack is enough to deter them.

Whack! Whack!

Jeremy's fist first strikes the body of a heavy-built student, who then falls to the ground. He then attacks five others in a flash.

The students see a fist appear in a flash before the attacks come. The assault is sinister, yet it makes everyone retreat backward instantly.

Gasp!

The students watching from the sidelines exclaim in surprise because they see Jeremy Night arrive just in time to stop the fight.

"Brother," Daniel calls out. His face is swollen, clearly showing he received a harsh beating.

The heavy-built student and the others are taken aback. They didn't expect Jeremy Night to intervene so quickly. They have yet to inflict any serious injuries to Daniel Stone.

Jeremy's gaze falls on them. He can tell who is behind this.

He says, "You guys have crossed the line this time. Wait for the Department Head to punish you."

The other students don't have the guts to refute him, so they hurriedly stand up and escape from the place. Jeremy doesn't follow them.

He is sure that Elder Derek will punish them. However, the problem is that he didn't expect the other first-year students to behave this way. He had thought that because of his presence, no one would target other members.

But he realizes he was naive. If he hadn't arrived, Daniel would have suffered serious injuries.

"Daniel, let's go to the infirmary," Jeremy says.

"Hmmm," Daniel nods.

Then both of them exit the facility and start heading toward the infirmary.

Not long after, the rest of the students begin to comment.

"Damn!"

"Has anyone recorded the footage? Jeremy appears to be stronger than before," someone says.

"Yes, I couldn't watch his movements!"

"He was moving too fast."

"It didn't look like the power of a Tier-1 Beast Tamer."

"When did he become this strong?"

"He seems to be stronger than when he defeated S-Grader May Lindsey."

The discussion continues. Everyone has an incredible expression on their faces. They feel fortunate that Jeremy didn't scold them.

It doesn't take long for the news to reach other students. After learning that Jeremy Night has intervened to stop the fight, the students are shocked. But what follows is not a revenge attack but a warning.

Hearing this, most of the first-year students sigh in relief. They are glad that Jeremy held back. If it were other representatives, they don't know how they would have reacted to this situation.

Meanwhile,

Betsy Lowe learns that Jeremy saved Daniel Stone in time. They are at the infirmary right now. Upon knowing this, she immediately goes there.

On the other hand, Instructor Jacob is absolutely furious. He wants to confront the department instructors of those students. But the Department Head stops him when he learns about it.

They are not dumb. They know that some senior students are behind the scenes, giving benefits to the first-year students, which led them to target Daniel Stone, despite knowing about Jeremy Night's strength.

Infirmary,

In this small medical facility, the doctor immediately administers an injection. The syringe is filled with a cure. The healing energy enters Daniel's body, and his complexion improves in a few minutes.

The doctor is a middle-aged man. He knows what happened.

"Thanks to you, his injuries were not serious. You can take him back now," the doctor says.

Hearing this, Jeremy nods.

"Thank you, doctor," Daniel says to him.

A few minutes later,

They exit the facility, but they meet Betsy Lowe the next second.

"You are alright?" she asks.

"I'm fine. It's just superficial injuries. Nothing serious," Daniel replies.

"The doctor has injected a cure. It will heal his injuries," Jeremy adds.

"When I heard the news, I was shocked to the core. That was dangerous. I didn't expect them to target you like this," Betsy says.

"This is not the place to talk. Let's go back to our class," Jeremy says.

Then they start going back to the department.

Ten minutes later,

They enter the class and sit in their seats.

"I knew they were going to attack me," Daniel starts to speak. Earlier, when he saw their malicious gazes on him, he felt they were up to something.

"The elders or the dean have to take action. Otherwise, the senior students won't stop their activities," Daniel says to them.

"I told Instructor Jacob earlier. I think he would have informed Elder Derek by now," Betsy adds.

Jeremy shakes his head. He knows that the elders won't be able to punish them unless the senior students commit a serious crime.

They had kidnapped Romeo Barrett some time ago, yet Elder Derek and others had failed to punish them. It's going to happen again.

"Let's hope for something better. At least the first-year students should be punished," Daniel Stone says.

Meanwhile,

Dean Carolyn, in her office, hears the news as well. She touches her forehead in frustration.

"If I don't do anything right now, then their future actions could be dangerous," she thinks.

She decides to speak to the families of the senior students one by one. If they don't want their children to be kicked out of this central university, then they should warn their children against such activities.
