STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 69: Part 2: Golden Lion vs Dotted Hyena

Inside the arena, the challenger Beast Tamer was ready. When the Hyena reached out his neck to bite, the Beast Tamer used his talent ability.

His fist was covered with a gold-colored element. In the blink of an eye, his entire right arm was covered. The next second, he drew a punch at the beast.

Boom!

His fist made contact with the Hyena’s head. The Hyena let out a low cry. The hit contained the power of Tier-5 Strength, but it was not enough to defeat the Corrupted Beast.

The Hyena felt pain on top of its head before retreating from the spot. By this time, the Golden Lion had already rushed to the Beast Tamer’s side.

Now they had created distance once again.

The Beast Tamers were cheering from the audience seats.

Jeremy’s forehead had small sweat beads. The duel was better than he had imagined. Not only was he seeing the Corrupted Tier-4 Beast, but also the Tier-5 Beast in action.

The Hyena received a direct hit on its body. The power of the Tier-5 Beast had caused serious injuries all over its body. The Hyena lay on the ground, crying in pain.

The Golden Lion looked exhausted after releasing that one attack.

The Challenger Beast Tamer smiled. He was waiting for the perfect opportunity.

The audience in the stands began to realize this and started cheering.

"He is going to win," Betsy said.

Jeremy nodded his head. He realized that the Hyena’s strength was its razor-sharp teeth. It really didn’t have any other attacks.

Now the Golden Light had caused a serious injury. It was impossible for the Hyena to win the duel.

Then Jeremy saw how the Golden Lion pounced on the injured Hyena and bit its neck off.

Pfff!

With one bite, it ripped the head off the Hyena’s body. Blood splattered all over the ground. With that, the Hyena was dead. The Lion Beast let out a huge roar in celebration.

The Challenger Beast Tamer was happy. He had shown immense experience as a Beast Tamer in the duel. He didn’t rush forward to finish the duel. Rather, he waited for the opportunity to kill the Corrupted Tier-4 Hyena Beast at the right time.

The Masked Man presenter appeared once again.

The Challenger Beast Tamer called back his lifeline beast. The next second, the Golden Lion disappeared from the spot.

The presenter then declared the challenger the winner. He asked the staff to clear out the remains. Once that was done, the next matchup started.

Jeremy and Betsy were eager to watch further duels as well.

Time passed.

One after another, Corrupted Tier-4 and Tier-5 Beast showdowns occurred. By the time the sixth match was over, it was already close to sunrise.

Jacob took the two and left the arena. It didn’t take much time for them to return to University 14 in a flying taxi.

After stepping inside University 14, Jacob instructed them not to tell anyone about this. Since they hadn’t slept, he asked them to take a half-day off as well.

Then they parted ways. Jeremy returned to the dorm room a few minutes later and went to sleep.

On the other hand, Betsy did the same. She didn’t have time to call her family. She went to sleep quickly as well.
