The Giant Eagle is flying above the clouds at ease. Jeremy Night is feeling thrilled. This is the first time he is riding on the back of a bird lifeline beast.

He can see the Beast Tamers who have bonded with flying type lifeline beasts having numerous advantages. If he had a similar lifeline beast, he would have escaped long ago.

It’s also useful for monitoring the terrain and looking for any corrupted beasts trespassing. Jeremy forgot about the bad incident and unknowingly started enjoying the passing natural view.

But Jacob and Ariel aren’t that happy. It’s strictly forbidden to kill one another. It’s especially strict when it comes to the Central University rules.

In the worst case, those 2nd year students will be crippled. Otherwise, they will be expelled for sure. She doesn’t know which one is going to happen.

But the families behind them have crossed a red line. They have pressured 2nd year students who had no backing to do their bidding.

Now they are going to receive some backlash, that’s all. But the full punishment would be given to the 2nd Years.

These 2 purposefully avoid talking in front of Jeremy Night. Politics is everywhere. They don’t want Jeremy Night to be exposed to the ugly side of the world too soon.

About 10 minutes later,

The Giant Eagle enters the University space. After reaching the 1st year training ground, it touches down.

Jeremy and the others landed on the ground.

Instructor Ariel called back her lifeline beast. The Giant Eagle disappears from the spot and returns to her mental zone.

"Jeremy, you can return to your dorm. We will go and meet Dean Carolyn," Jacob said.

Hearing that, Jeremy nodded his head. He can see that the Attack Department is going to have a tough time. Then he left the place, heading back towards the dorm building.

Meanwhile,

In the dean’s office, Dean Carolyn is aware of the incident. When it was reported to her, she was shocked. The next moment, she felt a boiling anger in her heart.

She had warned every elite and top family not to engage in acts like this. Even the Heath and Knox Families warned others on their behalf.

So how come these medium-sized families dared to do this? The Patrol Team Captain got confessions from the captured 2nd Years. Not only that, some of the 1st Years of the Attack Department were involved in this plot to kill as well.

Just as she was contemplating, a notification on the blue virtual screen appeared. She opened the notification to read it.

"Ariel and Jacob have returned," she muttered.

She knew they would come to her to report. She closed the notification.

Knock!

The next second, she heard knocking on the door. She frowned. She hadn’t summoned anyone. Then she checked the front camera on the virtual screen.

A middle-aged man wearing an overcoat was standing in front of the door. He is none other than the Department Instructor Hudson from the 2nd Year Attack Department.

Dean Carolyn’s eyes flashed with a cold glint. She didn’t respond and waited for Ariel and Jacob to arrive.

Shortly afterward,

Jacob and Ariel arrived at the office, but they were startled upon seeing Hudson. Hudson is actually senior to them, a veteran Beast Tamer as well.

To think he was standing voluntarily in front of the door. They couldn’t help but exchange looks.

Hudson saw them as well. His eyes flashed with shame. He never expected in his life he would face such an embarrassing situation.

All of this was because of the selfishness of those families. If they had told him earlier, he would have done something to stop this.

Creak!

"All three of you come inside!"

Dean Carolyn’s voice sounded.

Hearing that, the three walked into the room.

"Take your seat first," Carolyn added.

Hudson sat in the right corner chair.

Jacob sat in the chair to the left of him. Ariel sat next to Jacob. Once the three of them were seated, they looked toward Carolyn.

Dean Carolyn’s face was neutral. She was not showing any emotion, but people who knew her were aware that her heart was boiling with anger.

"Mr. Hudson, you have disappointed me. I’m sure the Heath and Knox Families won’t forgive you either," Carolyn said.

Blood drained from Hudson’s face. He was a dignified and respected Beast Tamer. These were not the words anyone likes to hear from the Dean of a Central University 14.

Jacob and Ariel remained silent. They could only sigh in their hearts. It was fortunate that nothing happened to Jeremy Night. Otherwise, the people dragged into this mess would be many.

Hudson replied, "I accept my mistakes. This was an oversight on my part. I didn’t expect the medium-sized families would dare to do something like this."

His voice sounded genuine. He is not accusing anyone. The medium-sized families who made this plan didn’t care about the aftermath.

Otherwise, they would have informed interested parties beforehand.

Dean Carolyn looked into his eyes before typing something on the virtual keyboard. The background and recent activities of Hudson appeared on the screen.

Some of the information was secret, which Hudson wouldn’t have imagined. She was checking whether he had come into contact with any of these families.

But the intel showed no record of such things. Because of this, she was at ease. She still sent a request to the Human Alliance. They have more resources and wider networks to gather intel.

They must have more intel on Hudson than her.

"Alright, since Jeremy Night is doing fine, I won’t drag innocent people into this. But don’t forget who Jeremy Night’s father is."

"He is one of the city governors of City C. He can request help from the Human Alliance. You have passed my check, but you will have to pass theirs as well," Carolyn said in a serious tone.

Hudson’s face changed before returning to normal. He knew that Dean Carolyn was not lying. He knew something about the Striker Department Representative Jeremy Night.

Jeremy Night’s background was clear. So, Hudson thinks it’s better to go with a gift to meet the other party and ask for forgiveness. This might leave a good impression on him.
