Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 630: I Want to See You Burn!

"Master! There’s someone waiting up ahead! I think it’s a Machina!"

Jason’s eyes narrowed as he felt that uneasy feeling from before coming back in full force, and he immediately activated [Predator’s Gaze] to see what Stella was pointing out! There was a man standing down on the ground, and the moment Jason laid eyes on him, he grit his teeth as an intense anger came over him! That was the fucking emissary that had visited Radagan a long time ago and gave them the demands that started this entire bullshit! What the fuck was he doing here!?

Down on the ground, the Emissary stood with his hands behind his back and gazed up at the dragons flying above him. There was a tension that suddenly filled the wide, empty field once the Emissary locked eyes with Jason, and the Emissary gave a twisted smile when he saw the anger in Jason’s eyes. The Emissary slowly began to rise through the air to reach Jason, and when he was floating on the same level as the dragons, the Emissary watched as Jason’s dragons began to let out some smoke as they prepared to unleash fire, but the Emissary wasn’t scared. Did they think he was so weak that he would die to the attack of some mere SSS Ranks? He was the second-highest-ranked individual in the world of the Machina, right below the Overlord, and he had enough protections on his body to block an attack from even a TITAN Rank II! The Emissary would’ve laughed if this weren’t such a serious situation, and he completely ignored the dragons and decided to announce what he had come here for! The emissary raised his hands to the side and spoke to Jason in a righteous tone.

"I believe the time has come to bring an end to this farce, Jason, and it is only right that this story ends in the same way it began. You have insulted both the Machina and your Overlord with this insolent rebellion, but the Overlord is a merciful man, and therefore, he has given me permission to grant you a choice. We are only going to give you this one final chance, Jason. Put down your weapons and surrender yourself to the Machina for punishment, and we swear to you that no harm will come to your lover or your family. We will treat your actions against our people as if they had been committed by you alone, and you will bear the full weight of the sentence without having to involve anyone else. But if you defy us one more time, then you will be signing your death warrant. I promise that should you decide to ignore our offer, you will not be making it out of this world alive. Make your choice wisely."

’Should we attack?’

Gina suddenly spoke through her mental link with Jason. There was a deep frown on her face as she glared at the Emissary, and Jason could feel her anger as she prepared for a fight. Beside him, Stella also looked like she was ready to fight immediately, and even though Jason knew that they could take on the emissary easily since he was only an SS Rank, something about this still didn’t sit right with Jason. The emissary was too confident. Jason had taken on Generals and monsters that were far stronger than the emissary, and he had killed literal armies of Machina in the past, so Jason was sure that the Emissary wasn’t underestimating him. But if that was the case, then where did all this confidence come from? The Emissary had to have something up his sleeve, and Jason wanted to know what the thing was before he went in blindly to attack.

Jason spoke up in a calm tone.

"Did you really think it was a good idea to just appear in front of me this way? You threaten my family, and you think you’re going to make it out of here alive just because you have an army backing you? Right now, I’m a criminal with no affiliations, and I can do whatever I want without any repercussions to my world. Killing you will be as easy as moving my finger."

The emissary smiled at Jason’s threat, and he let out a sigh of relief. There was so much joy and gladness in the Emissary’s heart at that moment, and he smiled in pure happiness as he looked up to the sky.

"Yes, that is exactly what I wanted to hear from you. This is the Jason Marc that I want to destroy. You know, I was never in support of the Overlord’s offer. The only reason I stand in front of you now is because I was mandated to read you your rights. Mercy? Kindness? No, such things aren’t needed for people like you. I want to see you burn, Jason. I want to watch as your corpse is dragged through the dirt and paraded to the Primordial Expanse for all to see. I want to crush that pride of yours until there is nothing left. I want to eradicate your stupid world, kill your foolish family, and incinerate your idiotic lover. That is what I want! That is my greatest desire! So please fight! Fight like your life depends on it! This is where you die, so it is only right that you struggle to the very end like the worm that you are!"

ROARRRR!!!

A massive blast of fire suddenly erupted from Trigon as it charged for the Emissary, but a blue shield suddenly appeared in front of the Emissary and blocked the attack! The Emissary dodged around Trigon’s charge, and he immediately had to bring up another defence as he saw Braga appear from behind and point his cannon blaster right at him! 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

BOOOMM!!

A blast of raw energy flew straight towards the Emissary, but before the attack could land, another Machina appeared in the sky and blocked Braga’s attack with a large mechanical shield! The Emissary quickly moved out of the way as he felt a danger approaching from behind, and he was just lucky enough to avoid Evon’s spear as it stabbed into the back of the newcomer! The Machina that had just appeared was the general Destro, and he growled in anger and turned around sharply before grabbing the spear and tossing Evon away like she weighed nothing!

ROARRR!!

Ragnar came in from the side with a blast of fire that would’ve easily levelled an entire city, and both Destro and the Emissary brought up their hands and activated their defences!

KA-BOOOM!!

The explosion lit up the Vratac sky, but it was not enough to take out either one of them, and Destro quickly grabbed the Emissary by the arm and activated a quick teleportation device that moved them out of the way of a massive wind blade that would’ve easily killed the Emissary! Destro looked to the side, and he frowned when he saw Gina looking down at him with a deep frown on her face.

"Please leave this to me, Grand General. You’ve already done your part."

Destro spoke to the Emmissary in a gruff voice as he looked towards Jason. Jason was standing on a black disc made from shadows and watching the fight like he didn’t have a care in the world. Destro thought that Jason wasn’t concerned about whatever they were going to do next, but in truth, Jason was actually thinking quickly about what was happening and how to counter any surprises that they might have for him. Jason knew that the Machina weren’t stupid. Even with all the mistakes that they had made so far, there were still a lot of very smart people amongst the robotic race, so there was every chance that they had made either a weapon or an artefact that could actually match his power.

But Jason could only wonder if they even knew what his actual power level was now.
