Chapter 992: More Aliens

“Doctor. I felt so weird in the past few days. I don’t know what’s going on, but I felt full.” A man explained with a pale face. He had a hard time breathing.

The doctor furrowed his eyebrows. “Is there anything?”

“It’s just that… I don’t feel any headache or anything. It’s just… weird. I have never felt like this before.”

The doctor pinched the bridge of his nose. “In that case, I will prescribe some medicine to ease the fullness in your stomach.”

“Yes.” The man nodded desperately. “Although I can still work just fine, this uncomfortable feeling just makes me lose my energy.”

“I’ll prescribe you some medicine first. If it’s too much, in that case, I will have you stay here for further inspection.”

“I unders—!” Before the man could complete his reply, he suddenly vomited in front of the doctor. “Gueehh…”

The patient was trembling while the doctor watched how the true horror unfolded.

“This… This is…” The doctor had never seen this before, but he recognized it was a tentacle. He was scared stiff. It was until a tentacle suddenly gouged out the right eyeball from the inside that the doctor screamed. “Whaaaaaaaaaaa! Alien!”

Unfortunately for the doctor, the alien grabbed his neck swiftly with the tentacle.

“Gah! Help me! Help!! Help!” The doctor begged out loud until two guards who were protecting his clinic came in.

“What?” The two guards were utterly shocked by the sight.

“Help!”

The doctor’s plea made them throw away their thoughts and just focus on rescuing the doctor first.

It was then the patient turned his head toward them as more tentacles came out and grabbed their necks.

All three of them were lifted up by the neck as they struggled to break free and get some air. Their faces turned pale, but the patient soon had his hand torn off by the tentacles inside its body. The hand was replaced by over five tentacles. Unlike the tentacles coming from his mouth, these tentacles were coated in a black cell.

These five tentacles extended themselves toward their throats as the black cell turned the tentacles into a sharp blade, piercing through their throats.

Just like inside the clinic, there were screams all around the town.

All around the town, a similar scene could be seen. There were people that had been controlled by aliens. Their bodies were deformed differently from the others, but it was enough to identify them. Each of them had the same strength, which was a juvenile class alien.

These aliens chased after all the humans around them and killed them the moment they caught them.

Meanwhile, people were screaming and scrambling all around the town, trying to survive. They didn’t know what was going on.

Even worse, those people had families and friends. They were walking together with another person previously before turning into an alien and killing that person.

The guards panicked as they hurriedly rushed to those screams, but they didn’t know what they were supposed to do since they were never trained to fight against the aliens. Just like the people helping the doctor, they didn’t know whether they should use their hands or kill the alien first, considering they were living inside a human body. They didn’t know whether they killed the human or the alien. In addition, there were simply too many spots to cover.

The city turned into hell in just an instant.

“I’ve gotten the permission. We’re willing to cooperate with the Frexia Academy in taking down the Divine Hand. Have you prepared a plan prior to this?” Rood asked.

Albert nodded. “We will—”

As he was about to explain, they suddenly heard screams all around the town.

“!!!” All of them couldn’t help but turn their heads around, thinking the same thing. They nodded at each other and rushed outside the building to see what was going on.

“What’s going on? Why are the people screaming?” Rood asked out loud.

“That…” Albert pointed in the opposite direction. It was an alien who had just killed another victim.

“This bastard…” Rood gritted his teeth. Captain Barnes, who had been beside him, raised his stance, ready to capture the alien.

But before going, Selena calmly said, “There are screams all around the town. That might not be the only one. We have to work fast and stop all of them.”

“There is more than one…” Rood nodded in agreement. “Barnes. Get your men and take care of the west and the north side of the city. I’ll also make my move here.”

“Understood.” Barnes acknowledged the order and immediately led his division according to the arrangement.

As if noticing the people with huge amounts of ena in their bodies, the alien turned at them and charged forward.

Albert took a step back. Although he was a minister, he wasn’t a summoner. That was why he was a bit scared now that an alien was coming.

Selena remained calm and assessed the situation, while Lavinster had jumped forward.

He raised his hand as stones from the ground gathered around his arm and expanded it.

The alien wanted to avoid that hand, but to no avail. The massive stone hand caught the alien.

“This is what you should have done in the beginning. If not for your lack of ability, we won’t have to experience something like this. I will show you the difference in our abilities!” Lavinster shouted as he crushed the alien in his hand.

The human body flattened along with the alien inside it. The alien spurted out blood as the body went limp.

However, another alien suddenly crushed the wall of a building and emerged from the inside, ambushing Lavinster.

Rood and Lavinster looked like they were going to respond, but the first one who reacted was actually Selena.

All of a sudden, the alien stopped in midair as though its body had been grasped by an invisible hand.

When their eyes shifted to the side, they saw Selena pointing her palm at the alien while making a clutch motion.

The alien screamed as it was struggling to get free. Unfortunately, there was no way to break free.

The alien inside the body exploded, effectively killing the alien while leaving the human body intact.

“No one will think you’re mute just because you don’t speak.” Selena sighed.
