Super Invincible Battleship-Chapter 1659 - 643: Into the Deep Sea_2
Chapter 1659: Chapter 643: Into the Deep Sea_2
Such a massive structure simply couldn’t be completely taken into the Universal Space, nor could it be moved to the Dreamland Cave World through a space channel. Therefore, Yan Fei had no choice but to research this core wreckage at the bottom of the deep sea, disassemble the useful objects inside, and then find a way to transport them back to the Dreamland Cave World for future study.
Under the constant scanning of the Quantum Radar, everything inside the core wreckage began to slowly reveal itself. Yan Fei discovered that the inside of the core wreckage was already in shambles, with most of it flooded with sea water and housing numerous marine life. However, the innermost section remained sealed off, isolated from the sea water outside. Based on the layout of the entire core wreckage, the remnants of the Cosmic Human civilizations and technological data that Yan Fei most desired were likely hidden inside.
Thus, Yan Fei maneuvered the Drone Avatar into the core wreckage’s space. He entered through a massive crack on the exterior of the core wreckage, and under the illumination of the Drone’s spotlight, he could clearly see the situation inside. The interior was filled with dilapidated compartments, all covered in silt and decaying marine organisms, making it impossible to discern the original appearance of the cabins.
The metal in the core wreckage had lost its metallic luster due to corrosion from the seawater, looking pitch-black and devoid of any metallic features. The inside was still teeming with marine plants, and some fish were swimming among these plants. When they saw the light from the spotlight, they scattered in fright.
With the embellishment of sea plants and marine fish, it was no longer recognizable from the outside that this wreckage once belonged to a Space Fortress capable of flying in the Universe. However, amid the plants and silt, occasional flashes of silver hinted at its past as a technological marvel of the Cosmic Humans.
The Quantum Radar had already mapped out the entry and exit channels within the core wreckage. Although Yan Fei’s Drone seemed to wander aimlessly, it never got lost. It did, however, encounter several extremely narrow channels along the way, requiring Yan Fei to adjust the Drone’s trajectory to barely navigate through these tight passages.
As Yan Fei continued forward, broken cabins were a common sight. Within these cabins, one could occasionally spot some strange objects of unknown purpose. However, with so much time having passed and the relentless corrosion from the sea water, it was impossible to recognize their original form, much to Yan Fei’s regret—this place was filled with creations of the Cosmic Humans, and anything taken from here could potentially bring a new technological perspective to Dream Island, possibly even leading to a technological breakthrough.
The Drone slowly navigated through the core wreckage, revealing significant damage inflicted on the hull by several major explosions from the past. If not for the special materials of the Space Fortress, it would have long been blown to dust in the continuous explosions, and would certainly not have preserved such a large core area.
Guided by the Auxiliary Brain, the Drone navigated unimpeded to the core area. Upon reaching this area, the plant and animal life in the cabins significantly decreased, and the sea water became clearer, allowing a vague view of the cabins’ original state. In the corners of the cabins, there were objects resembling human skeletons beginning to appear. Besides the human skeletons, there were other items of unknown purpose floating in the sea water.
In one of the more well-preserved rooms, Yan Fei saw a photograph on the wall. It was unclear what material the photo was made of, but even after 80,000 years of sea water corrosion, it remained intact. Yan Fei could clearly see it was a family portrait, with a pair of young human adults standing on either side, and a child of about seven or eight years old standing between them.
The people in the photograph were evidently the same race as Yan Fei, they should be family. In the photo, their faces were adorned with happy smiles, appearing no different from humans today. Only their clothing was very peculiar; though Yan Fei was seeing such apparel for the first time, he instinctively found it very appealing...
Seeing this photograph, Yan Fei became nostalgic. Earth’s human ancestors were Cosmic Humans, powerful beyond measure, engaging in consecutive interstellar wars with the World of Cultivation and the Ape Tribe Civilization. They were immensely strong, fierce fighters, and ruthless to enemies, known to their enemies as Outer Demons. But who would have thought that, privately, Cosmic Humans were also flesh-and-blood beings, with their own families and loved ones, experiencing emotions just like anyone else. frёeweɓηovel_coɱ
Despite their might, Cosmic Humans were not invincible. Due to their carelessness, they were destroyed by the Perfect Virus created by the Ape Tribe. After their destruction, regardless of their great achievements in life, in death, all those accomplishments drifted away from them, and were it not for Yan Fei, they would be completely lost to the annals of history. Their descendants, though branching out and flourishing on Earth, redeveloped human civilization, yet their achievements were insignificant compared to those of the Cosmic Humans...
While pondering, Yan Fei continued to control the Drone, moving forward. As Yan Fei delved deeper into the core wreckage space, the passage ahead began to slope downward. The entrance to the core wreckage was located at a depth of 4800 meters below the seabed, and after this period of continued descent, it was now situated 5000 meters beneath the sea floor.
