No matter how far those long warriors ran, no matter if they were kneeling and begging, or desperately resisting, as long as Jiang Cheng passed them, they would be reduced to lifeless corpses with just a flash of his presence.

The battlefield gradually calmed down, and Jiang Cheng slowly returned to his normal state.

Those long warriors who swaggered while alive, now lay discarded in the field like the people they once murdered. They would rot, decay, and be buried by the earth, ultimately becoming fertilizer for Nature. Perhaps, in their short and brutal lives, this was the only good deed they ever did.

Jiang Cheng turned to look at the adjutant, who was still encased in a protective shield. At the beginning of the fight, Jiang Cheng noticed one of the long warriors holding a gun to the adjutant's head. In addition to using small stones to take out those warriors, he also casually threw a protective device onto the adjutant. It was not unnecessary; without this protection, the adjutant would have been shot several times or blown up by rockets, or even stabbed to death by warriors. The adjutant was greatly grateful to Jiang Cheng because waves of long warriors had indeed tried to kill the traitor using many methods. Without that protective shield, the adjutant shuddered to think of it.

Jiang Cheng looked at the adjutant, and the adjutant raised his head to look at him. However, what they saw in each other's eyes was very different.

In the adjutant's eyes, Jiang Cheng was undoubtedly a maniac, a devil, a non-human existence. How many warriors were there? No one knew better than him. It took the adjutant a monumental effort, utilizing every ounce of his wit and connections, to gather so many warriors. He feared Jiang Cheng would kill him just for being displeased. That day, in the small town, even though he didn't witness it, or only dared to look when he deemed it safe, all those warriors were already dead. The scene was shocking, but not as much as witnessing this firsthand; the impact was more intense, more forceful, and more terrifying! 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

In front of the adjutant, Jiang Cheng's face was calm, his eyes peaceful, an image of harmony. However, the adjutant looked around to see if anyone was still alive, though he heard no groans, he wanted to be sure.

Thousands of warriors would take a while to be bombarded by cannons, right? And there must be some who escaped the net. But now, these people were all dead, killed by one person!

In the past, if someone told the adjutant one person could take down thousands, he would either disbelieve it or think that person crazy. But now, the facts before his eyes completely convinced him!

He watched firsthand as this man destroyed dozens of cannons and explosives, using just stones to knock ships out of the air. Those thousands of warriors' lives, reaped cleanly by him alone! In the battles he had experienced, sometimes a fierce fight resulted in a few dozen deaths.

The adjutant's face was pale, his body trembling uncontrollably, unaware of his soaked trousers.

What would this man do with him? Would he die a miserable death? How?

Jiang Cheng frowned as he looked at the adjutant's wet crotch, the unpleasant smell wafting into the air. Did he scare him? So these guys are all the same; they're mighty when dealing with weaker ones, acting fearless. When disaster strikes them, they're scared out of their wits!

The adjutant did not react.

He didn't scare him into an idiot, did he? That'd be bad.

Jiang Cheng frowned, reaching out to gently tap him, unexpectedly prompting a response from the adjutant.

"Wah," the adjutant shouted, retreating several steps all at once.

Jiang Cheng's face darkened, and the adjutant fell to his knees with a plop: "Please, don't kill me," he pleaded weakly.

"I won't kill you," Jiang Cheng instructed him to stand up.

"Please!" The adjutant continued to beg, as if he hadn't seen Jiang Cheng's gesture.

"Stand up!" Jiang Cheng commanded loudly.

The frightened adjutant quickly stood up straight.

"Let's go," Jiang Cheng said and started to walk.

By the adjutant's reasoning, following a devil seemed no different than following Jiang Cheng, but he dared not defy Jiang Cheng's wishes, trailing closely behind him.

What he saw along the way terrified him. Those dismembered bodies, though he had seen many before, never so many at once. It frightened him.

So he stuck close to Jiang Cheng, afraid he'd be left behind.

This road felt exceedingly long; the adjutant felt like he had been walking forever.

When they reached the gathering places of the people on Sek Planet, those who saw Jiang Cheng coming back were overjoyed, but upon seeing the adjutant behind him, fear flickered across their faces, and they no longer approached.

Jiang Cheng glanced back at the embarrassed adjutant.

To the people, he was a villain. They feared him so much that even though he was alone while they numbered in the hundreds, they were terrified!

Yet, in front of Jiang Cheng, he was scared spitless!

Jiang Cheng instructed the adjutant to translate for him, since the adjutant spoke the local dialect and universal language. A battlefield site in the distance needed brave adult men for cleaning.

The people looked at the adjutant's wet crotch in disbelief, the adjutant lowered his head: "Really, many," nodding as he said it to make them believe he wasn't lying.

"Go, and return if it feels uncomfortable," Jiang Cheng reassured them.

With the adjutant's cooperation, Jiang Cheng had completely defeated the remaining long warriors on Sek Planet. After witnessing the adjutant, Jiang Cheng started developing a new idea: the adjutant wasn't a bad person. Intelligent and world-wise, he possessed a considerable leadership capability. Jiang Cheng wanted him to become the leader of Sek Planet since he, not being from the planet, couldn't stay long-term. But Jiang Cheng wanted to test the adjutant first. If he misjudged him, he'd once again push Sek Planet's people into hell, so he needed to act cautiously. How would he test the adjutant, Jiang Cheng pondered deeply.

First, he sent the adjutant along with others to clean the battlefield.

Upon hearing Jiang Cheng's request, the adjutant's face turned pale. It wasn't that he was cowardly, but seeing that battlefield reminded him of Jiang Cheng's terror; his fragile heart couldn't bear another shock like that. Yet, he dared not openly refuse Jiang Cheng because the shock Jiang Cheng gave him still hadn't faded, his wet trousers weren't dry yet, and moreover, his life was still in Jiang Cheng's hands. When Jiang Cheng had pointed at his heart, it felt like pain was being torn out, he thought it might be some kind of magic. But what drove him was also resentment against the war-torn Sek Planet he had seen over the years, detesting those who perpetuated conflict, thinking about what a mess they've made of a good planet.
