“While calling, Chloe Flowerfield headed straight towards Finn Lewis. “Chloeeee,” Finn laughed and stretched out his arms to pick up the little girl. “Wow, really?” Zoe’s eyes lit up with excitement.

“Of course it’s true.” Finn nodded seriously. Holding Zoe, he walked over to Fay Wells, “Mom, I’m back. I’m sorry to have worried you.”

“It’s good to be back, it’s good to be back. No matter where you go next time, leave a contact method.” Fay’s eyes reddened, but she held back her tears in front of Zoe.

“Okay, Mom, let’s go inside. I have something to tell you.” Finn thought for a moment before speaking seriously.

Inside, Zoe obediently went to do her homework. This little girl was very sensible, and now she was more like a child, unlike the grownup she seemed before, which was heartbreaking to see.
