Erix, Rin, and Lilith entered the biggest skill store in the city.

The skill store was digitized but with magic. There were screens that displayed the skills' names with their effects and their price.

But Lilith directly went to one of the staff desks and said, "Show us Mana recovery passive skills of Tier-3."

Erix and Rin arrived behind her and curiously looked around, checking out the skills.

Many tempting active and passive skills! However, they weren't interested in buying active skills that much because it was more fun and fulfilling to create active skills based on their style.

"By the way, we can't use Tier-4 passive skills too?" Rin asked.

Lilith shook her head.

"Nope. Tier-4 passive skills will burden your body and mind, lowering your combat power since you don't have Prana."

"Here, we have three Tier-3 passive skills regarding mana regeneration," the staff lady was a dark elf. She presented information on three skills on a crystal tablet to Lilith.

Lilith handed the tablet to Erix. "Pick one you can utilize the best."

After reading them, he chose one he felt was best.

_Effect: Reduce mana consumption by 30% and take the other 30% cost from your stamina. You can convert stamina into mana with a 2:1 ratio.

"This is great," Erix said. "I want this one."

"I'll bring its skill scroll," the staff lady nodded with a sweet smile and went into a door that led to the library of skill scroll.

"As for other Tier-3 passive skills. Just take one of those hanging tablets and browse the skills. Pick the ones you like, and we'll buy them," Lilith said as she pointed at the row of hanging tablets in the store's center. Several people were looking through them already.

"Yep. My one Tier-5 skill scroll cost way more than everything I spent to buy things for you," Lilith wryly smiled.

"Show us," Rin asked with shining eyes. She wanted to see a Tier-5 skill's power.

"It's on the lower spectrum of Tier-5 passive skill, but I had one slot empty, so I thought I should buy it as well," Lilith said as she stretched her hand toward the duo. "Inspect it."

Both of them inspected the scroll and got information.

_Requirement: 3rd realm of Darkness affinity.

_Effect: An additional heart driven by darkness. Increase Darkness Elemental power by 150% and protect your heart with a dark heart that would only break when you run out of Prana.

"150% direct increase in Darkness power?" Erix was dumbfounded.

"Yep. Basically, all of my Darkness-attributed attacks will be a bit more than twice as powerful," Lilith chuckled.

"This is not that much. I have another passive skill of Blood affinity that's more powerful than this. But there's a catch. These Tier-5 skills will lower in effectiveness as you are stronger. Once I reach the next rank, their effects will halve."

"Damn…but it's still powerful," Rin muttered.

"You want Wind Affinity, right? I assume that was why you bought that Wind-attribute weapon," Lilith smiled. "The place where we are going will help you awaken Wind affinity, but you'll have to suffer for it."

"Suffering is always there if we want to learn, I know," Rin nodded. "I had to suffer lightning bolts when I was trying to progress in my Lightning affinity."

In a way, it was a mental torture.

"Here, these are mine," Erix showed his skill list first.

—> Kinetic Power Force (Tier-3 passive skill): +20 Strength. Increase your skill's attack up to 200% based on its speed before impact. 2000 meter per second speed for max increase.

"So you went this route, eh? Good."

"Yep, and these are mine," Rin showed her tablet next.

—> Lightning Force Frame (Tier-3 passive skill): +50 Agility. As long as you have lightning coursing through your body, your Agility and Strength will increase by +70 each.

"I'll bring them shortly," the staff lady happily smiled and went into the room behind the desk again.

Rin chuckled and explained the term, causing Lilith to wryly smile.

" No discounts even though we bought so many things?" Erix asked, his eyebrows raised. "We won't come here a second time if that's the case."

The staff lady awkwardly smiled. "We don't have discounts."

"Tsk, nevermind then. We'll go to another shop next time when we want to buy Tier-4 and Tier-5 passive skills," Rin said as she turned around and started walking.

"Ah, w-wait. If you promise to buy higher-tier skills from here, I can talk to the manager," the dark elf quickly said.

Lilith watched in amusement. "Alright, go and talk. I just settled my old business and have yet to find a new one for more money."
