While Nux and the others discussed matters related to the Seer and tried to come up with a way to deal with her, a faint wisp of crimson mist drifted aimlessly through the Outer Space near Yrniel, on the verge of vanishing into nothingness.

Flicker

But before it could fade completely, it flickered—just once—before disappearing entirely, as if plucked from existence by some foreign, unseen force.

When it reappeared, it was no longer near Yrniel. It was not even within the scope of the ever-expanding Universe.

It was a place of—

Nothingness.

No Universal Energy. No stars. No worlds. Not even a single speck of dust.

Even the Almighty Four Supreme Worlds knew nothing of this void.

And within this endless emptiness… only this wisp of crimson mist floated.

Drifting.

Wandering.

Persisting.

Though weak, it did not vanish as it should have.

In this empty, timeless abyss, it was the only thing that existed.

Until—

This empty space shuddered.

The mist trembled.

It was subtle. There were no winds, no thundering roars, no absurdly powerful auras.

Just… silence.

Yet something within the emptiness shifted. Slowly, something began to materialize.

It started as a simple flicker of existence, then grew more vivid, more real, until finally…

A white sphere materialized.

A sphere quite similar to the World Cores Nux had devoured.

But there was one difference—this one was far, far larger, so much that it couldn’t even be put into words.

Even Umbrasol and Colossa, two of the largest worlds in the Universe, would look like mere pebbles before it.

Yes, it was the Universe’s Core.

The physical manifestation of the Will of the Universe itself.

Something that the strongest in the Universe sought, yet… none could claim it.

Something that had survived the test of time for trillions of years.

Before such an overwhelming entity, the faint wisp of mist should have been invisible—utterly insignificant.

And yet…

For some reason, it wasn’t.

The Universe’s Will stared at the mist.

Not in a way one could describe with mortal understanding, but it was aware of the mist—acknowledging it.

The mist, however, remained oblivious. It drifted, unaware, mindless, continuing its aimless path through the void.

Then—

Bzzzt

The Universe’s Core trembled, and in that instant, the very fabric of the space around it rippled, as if unable to contain even its weakest movement.

And that ripple in space gave birth to something new.

A strange energy.

An energy that could not be understood.

It did not move. It did not spread. It simply existed.

Hovering.

Almost as if…

It was waiting.

And then—

The crimson mist changed its course, as if some foreign force was directing its flow.

It was subtle at first, but then it became undeniable—it was being drawn toward the energy.

The mist got closer… and closer…

Until—

It passed through the energy.

And then—

Something changed.

The faint wisp, once weak and barely clinging to existence—almost on the verge of fading out of existence, in fact—began to grow.

It thickened.

It solidified.

The once-dying mist grew more vivid, more… substantial—until finally—

Ba-dump

A heartbeat echoed throughout the silent, vast space.

A sign of life where nothing existed. And at last,

The Vampire Progenitor’s Regeneration kicked in.

With so many things happening all over the Universe, once again, inside that big room, on top of the ridiculously big table, four entities gathered.

At first, there was silence.

No one spoke.

It was a show of patience. All four entities had everything under their control, or at least that’s the impression they were trying to give.

Or maybe…

It was something else.

Maybe it was some method to… assess each other.

Though whatever it was, it clearly wasn’t very effective. What these entities had the most in their hands was time. Staying silent for a few hours was nothing for them, and they all knew it.

So, not wanting to foolishly stay here while they could be doing something useful, the Entity of Eternity started,

"The Seer made an appearance."

"Did you find out where?"

The Entity of Balance questioned.

"I did not."

The Entity of Eternity denied.

"Why do I feel like you are becoming more and more useless? You never have an answer to any of our questions now."

The Entity of Malice spoke directly.

He was in no mood to play this foolish game, and it was showing.

The Entity of Eternity, however, didn’t lose its calm.

"Why do you think I am obliged to answer your question? The very reason you ask me is because you do not have the answer to that question. It also proves that subconsciously, you know I know more than you do. And if you call me useless even when you know you stand below me, I can only imagine how you look at yourself."

"What did you say?"

The Entity of Malice raised its voice.

"You heard me."

The Entity of Eternity didn’t back down either.

After all, no one here was particularly weaker than anyone. Yes, the Entity of Malice was strong. In terms of battle power, it probably could overpower the Entity of Eternity, but…

Battle power was not everything one needed in a war.

Especially when more than two factions are involved in it.

The Entity of Eternity wasn’t intimidated. It had no reason to. After all, it already knew nothing was going to happen. It knew that even if the Entity of Malice lost its calm, as it usually did, the other two would make a move.

They had to.

Because if they didn’t, then the truth would be revealed, and all others would turn towards them instead.

The tension in the air rose as the Entity of Malice stayed silent, and the other three entities observed even that action very carefully, as if trying to find a clue.

Yes, it was clear that for some reason, the balance between the Four Supreme Entities was very delicate right now. It was almost as if they were trying to find a reason to fight each other.

But in the end,

"Calm down."

The Entity of Balance spoke up.
