Though in truth, since cultivating often enhanced one’s appearance, even if Michael could not sense their auras, the improvement in their looks clearly revealed their progression.

Richard, meanwhile, still chose to carry the scars across his face. Yet despite them, he now easily surpassed every male model in existence. Seeing this, and considering they were of the same realm, Michael couldn’t help but wonder if he too had undergone such a striking transformation in his own appearance.

Of course they weren’t the only ones to have advanced.

Leo, Enzo, and Amelia had reached the Late Master stage.

Unsurprisingly, Ava had a breakthrough as well, reaching the Peak Master stage, just one step short of becoming a Grandmaster. But undoubtedly the most shocking advancement was Ruby, who had reached the Late Master stage!

Considering she had been only an Early Expert at the start of the battle, she had advanced more than an entire realm!

Though, considering that her soul had been altered to store spiritual energy more efficiently, perhaps it was not entirely a cause for celebration...

Lastly, there was Bryce, who had reached the Late Master stage, a whole realm below his granddaughter. Still, he clearly did not mind. With his advanced age, he relied more on his intelligence than on physical power.

All in all, the crew had advanced massively.

Once the last traces of spiritual energy dissipated from the slain Overlord, everybody opened their eyes.

Victoria and Claire exchanged nods of acknowledgement, clearly proud of their progress. Only for their fortitude to instantly crumble at the sight of Michael.

Ava and Ruby were equally overjoyed with their own advancement, but their celebration paused as their eyes turned to their leader.

"Is something wrong?" Michael arched an eyebrow at their strange behavior.

By the way, their faces were blossoming redder. He almost wondered if the room had been poisoned... Until Richard’s laughter echoed through the chamber.

"Goddammit, at this point, just go become a movie star or something!"

As it turned out, Michael had undergone the most outstanding transformation of all. When the crew gazed at him, they felt their hearts flustering, as if they were staring at a King.

After clearing her throat awkwardly, Victoria spoke first, though she did not avert her gaze.

"Dominating..." Claire slowly nodded, with a thoughtful expression.

"Formidable!" Ava’s eyes sparkled with astonishment.

"Delicious!" Ruby proclaimed, visibly drooling, as her puffy tail excitedly swung from side to side.

Receiving compliments was a rarity for Michael, especially from so many gorgeous women at once. Which explained his lack of response. And since Richard was busy containing his laughter, while Enzo and Amelia gazed at each other like love-struck birds. It became apparent no one was stepping in to help him this time.

"...Thank you. You’ve... become more beautiful as well." He murmured, averting his gaze.

"At this rate, half of their members will be Lords before long! So that’s why Nicole, one of the Cursed Children, showed interest in them!"

Progressively, chaos began to spread among the troops, with everyone agreeing that a new major player was being born right before their eyes.

While the havoc was ensuing, a hooded figure, one that didn’t emit any kind of presence, observed from the sidelines. The Emperor’s right-hand man, whom Isaac and Oliver had hired.

"Due to their rise in popularity, there’s no way I could kidnap Victoria without being noticed. Forget her squad, the entire world would find out in a heartbeat..."
