Surprise! I've Transmigrated Again-Chapter 264 ⤞ Apollo’s Divine Banquet Invitation
Chapter 264 - 264 ⤞ Apollo's Divine Banquet Invitation
After lingering at the Guild for several days, walking down the bustling streets and breathing in the fresh air, he couldn't help but inwardly criticize the deity who always stayed cooped up in that dark underground plaza.
Yet another thorny problem had been thrown his way — but there was nothing he could do about it. The offer was simply too tempting. Adam couldn't refuse.
The sun descended toward the horizon, its gentle rays filling his vision as evening light bathed the earth in a warm glow.
Adventurers were returning to their bases, whether from the Dungeon or the Guild, having finished their day of exploration.
The same went for Adam, though in his case, he wasn't finishing physical labor but rather concluding a mentally draining expedition.
He thought it was time for a rest.

Returning to the dilapidated church that served as their base, he heard Hestia and Bell arguing intensely about something before he even entered.
Curious, he quickened his pace. Upon entering, he found Hestia atop Bell, trying to remove his beginner adventurer outfit.
Adam wanted to quietly leave and give them space, but he had already disturbed them, and it was too late to back out.
He could only say diplomatically, "Uh... sorry, looks like I've interrupted something. If you need, I can come back later."
After speaking, he turned to leave.
"Wait, Adam! Save me!" Bell tried to struggle up but, afraid of hurting Hestia, didn't dare use force as their tussle continued.
This situation...
Could it be that the Goddess had finally succumbed to her desires and was forcing herself on the kid?
But what Hestia said next was even more startling.
"Wait, Adam! Come back, let's do this together! Help me hold Bell down, don't let him move!"
Huh...?! This intense? A threesome?
Sure, the Greek pantheon was known for being chaotic, but wasn't Lady Hestia supposed to be the pure virgin goddess?
But clearly, Adam had misunderstood.
"Adam, Bell refuses to wear this formal wear, so come help me!"
"Uh... what's going on here?" Realizing his mistake, Adam asked about Hestia's forceful approach.
Perhaps because of Adam's presence, Bell felt he couldn't be so discourteous, so he broke free from her embrace and escaped.
At this, Hestia clicked her tongue in displeasure.
"So, what's this about?"
"Ah, this is Apollo's requirement." Hestia stood up from the bed and explained to Adam, "He's holding a banquet and requiring all the high Gods to bring their Familia members — specifically those from the new generation."
"So?"
"Well, my Familia only has you and Bell, and with you away, Bell was the only option."
"So?" freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
"Of course you need formal attire for a banquet, but Bell absolutely refuses. He won't even go with me."
"I see, I understand now." Understanding the situation, Adam nodded knowingly.
The Apollo Familia, huh?
Actually, his next task from Ouranos was to investigate both the Apollo Familia and the Soma Familia.
Fels had conducted a secret investigation earlier.
She had discovered these two Familias had previous contact with the mysterious figures that had appeared.
That's why Ouranos had offered Demeter's Blessing as payment for Adam to investigate the connection between them.
Perfect timing. This divine banquet Apollo was hosting was definitely aimed at Bell. They must have used underhanded methods before Adam's return, surely sending minions to provoke them.
If that was the case, he would go with the flow.
Push the two Familias into war, investigate their relationship, and claim the blessing!
"Adam! Please help me convince Bell — he just won't agree to come with me!" Hestia puffed her cheeks, glaring at Bell irritably.
"No, no, no, I couldn't possibly accompany you to something like that." The kid's adamant head-shaking was truly infuriating.
What a humble-bragging master!
"Bell! As the fastest-leveling Adventurer in Orario, don't you understand that you've earned the Gods' recognition?"
Earlier, while Adam was accompanying the Loki Familia on their expedition, Bell had defeated the Minotaur and advanced to Level 2.
Hestia had asked if they should conceal this — announce Adam's Level 2 advancement first, then promote Bell's achievements.
But Adam had refused.
First, he wasn't interested in such fleeting fame. Second, with Bell attracting the Gods' attention up front, Adam could better work behind the scenes.
The kid's feat of reaching Level 2 in just one month had caught every God's attention in Orario, sparking intense curiosity about this "Little Rookie's" extraordinary leveling speed.
This was also the main reason Apollo had his eye on Bell.
Apollo was notorious for his indiscriminate pursuit of beauty. Gender meant nothing to the sun god — he would relentlessly chase anyone who caught his eye until they were his. What a despicable deity.
Furthermore, according to Ouranos's intelligence, Apollo appeared to have ties to the mysterious figures.
"Um, My Lady, wouldn't Adam be more suitable than me?" Bell attempted to dodge the responsibility by suggesting his companion, "He's just returned, he's stronger than I am, and far more mature — wouldn't he be perfect for this?"
"Hmm..." Hestia considered the suggestion.
From her viewpoint, Bell had a point. Adam was mature and level-headed, powerful in combat, and well-versed in dealing with the gods.
He would indeed be an excellent choice!
But Adam had other plans. They needed Bell to serve as the catalyst for conflict between the two Familias.
After all, how could there be a proper struggle without the main character present?
"No, I'm not suitable." Adam said before they could even ask, "Bell, you're our familia's captain and public face. It wouldn't be proper for a mere member like me to attend such an occasion."
Though his reasoning was sound, he could see Bell remained hesitant.
He leaned close to Bell's ear and whispered, "Besides... I'm certain Loki will bring Ais from the Loki Familia. Knowing that, do you still want to skip it, Bell?"
"!!!" At the mention of Ais, Bell's eyes lit up like a rabbit spotting a fresh carrot.
His entire demeanor transformed instantly.
"My Lady, I've made up my mind — I'll attend the divine banquet with you!"
"Really? That's wonderful!" Hestia, oblivious to what had transpired, beamed with joy at his acceptance.
Watching her excitement, Adam couldn't help but imagine her pure white hair ribbons turning a vivid shade of green.
Oh, poor Hestia~
