Chapter 296: Talking monster (2)

“This is nice!”

“Thank you!”

“Hey, bring me liquor.”

“Janey, you look pretty today.”

“I heard you said that to Raney too!”

“Haha!”

The soldiers, women from the Ainos team, and the Red Cross alike joined together in a giant feast in front of a large bonfire.

“To the success of the expedition!”

“To the new survivors!”

The party was held the night after the completion of the first military base on the North American continent. The Khalodian Army had now advanced into the old Seattle area. Seattle was an important strategic point leading up to Canada. In the first month that the army reached the Seattle area, they were required to heavily hunt down any nearby monsters. The construction team also worked hard to pave the way through the burning forest to create routes to rescue survivors.

“They’re having fun!” Jinpok said as he laughed at the sight of the excited soldiers enjoying the party.

Joonbum smiled, “They’re young.”

They were now much older than before. Joonbum was already over the age of 40.

“We were like that once.”

“Yeah. Haha.”

“It’s funny to think that we were like that, but I miss those times too.”

Joonbum nodded.

“Keeeek!”

“Oh, she’s at it!”

It was a monster laughing maniacally. Jinpok looked intrigued.

“Let’s go see.”

Joonbum got up and went over with Doral, Jinpok, and the other lieutenants. When they arrived, they encountered a weird situation.

“Keeek! Misun! More! More!”

“Then tell me! Tell me now! Where are the others?!”

“D-don’t! I- I… kek! Keeeek!”

Misun was tickling the captured goblin’s foot with a feather. Everyone else who was there looked dumbfounded.

“What are we doing with this monster…?”

Joonbum shook his head. Doral also found it hard to believe what was going on.

“Haha… look. It’s a perverted goblin. Isn’t that funny?”

Jinpok cackled. People had gathered but the goblin was still shivering in sheer pleasure.

“Now! Tell me! Where are your friends?” Misun asked as the goblin shook his body. The feather stopped and the goblin frowned.

“Ugh… Don’t… know!”

Misun then waved the feather in front of the goblin’s face.

“I’ll do this every day for you if you tell me.”

“E-every day!”

“Yeah. Every day!”

“K…kug… cave… cave… multiple caves… over mountain…”

Everyone fell silent and listened intently. The goblin began sharing all the information it knew. It was the moment that they could completely eradicate the issue with the goblins.

“Finally, we got the locations. Great.”

Jinpok shouted and looked at the goblins. The goblins were different from their appearances. They heavily resisted divulging any information. The soldiers used temptation methods and heavy torture, but nothing worked. They had captured tens of goblins and tried multiple methods but to no avail.

With these humans hunting them down, the goblins began to hide more effectively and attacked more cunningly. This proved to be a huge problem for the army. However, with this vital information, victory was in their grasp.

“This is a good chance.”

“They will be hiding from the cold.”

Jinpok and Hectos were excited.

“If it’s a cave, we’ll throw in the missiles.”

“Yeah. Sounds like a plan,” Jinpok answered Hectos.

“Let’s get rid of all the goblins in the area.”

“Good.”

Everyone then got up and returned to their positions. Only the goblin was left alone with its binds, screaming and begging for more tickles.

“Misun! Misun! More! Don’t go!”
