Chapter 1330: Chapter 1330: Because You’re Annoying

"Who is Lin Qiushu?" Qin Jian felt that the name was very unfamiliar.

"That’s the woman who followed me the other day. The person lying on the sickbed is related to her; by the looks of it, she’s either the grandmother or the great-grandmother." An Hao analyzed that it was more likely the grandmother. freeωebnovēl.c૦m

She and Lin Qiushu had slightly similar brows and eyes. When this elder was young, she must have been quite a beauty as well.

"What does this have to do with us?" After he finished speaking, Qin Jian remembered, "Lin Qiushu is the owner of Baozhen Jade Store, right?"

"Yes." An Hao nodded, "If that’s the case, we don’t need to go there today. The elder is still in the process of being resuscitated; I believe they won’t be in any mood to make this deal."

"That’s fine." There was no rush for now, anyway.

"Should we go and inform her?" An Hao wondered if Lin Qiushu would be anxious if she found out her grandmother was missing.

"Let’s go! You lead the way; I’ll accompany you."

Just as Qin Jian finished speaking, a woman hurried into the lobby.

She was dressed elegantly, with delicate features, but her expression was very anxious.

She accidentally bumped into someone and grabbed their collar to ask, "The emergency department, where is the emergency department?"

"That is Lin Qiushu." An Hao then gave a simple introduction to Qin Jian before walking over and calling out to Lin Qiushu.

Lin Qiushu, hearing someone in the hospital calling her name, hurriedly turned around and saw An Hao standing there with her belly protruding.

"Fifth floor, the thoracic cardiology ward! The elder is being resuscitated!" An Hao said succinctly.

Lin Qiushu looked at An Hao gratefully. Without even having time to thank her, she ran towards the stairs.

In the ward, the elder was being resuscitated.

Yan Ye stared unwaveringly at the monitor, his voice calm as he said, "Establish another IV route, administer aspirin..."

Before he could finish, Lin Qiushu barged in.

Seeing her grandmother lying in bed, eyes tightly closed, her body full of tubes, Lin Qiushu’s tears could no longer be held back. She sobbed while standing there: "Grandma... Grandma..."

Yan Ye’s resuscitation was interrupted; his brows knitted together, and his handsome eyes swept over Lin Qiushu as he uttered coldly, "Get out!"

Realizing that she had disrupted the resuscitation, Lin Qiushu quickly covered her mouth with her hand.

Yan Ye glanced at her and continued to speak, but before he could say more, the low sobbing continued.

"I’ll say it again, get out." Yan Ye said impatiently, frowning.

"You do your resuscitation; I’ll just stand aside and watch Grandma," Lin Qiushu said through tearful eyes as she looked at Yan Ye.

"That’s not going to work. Have two people drag her out," Yan Ye ordered.

"Why can’t I watch my grandmother being resuscitated? The hospital doesn’t have a rule saying I can’t watch!" Lin Qiushu cried out.

"That’s my rule."

"Why?"

Yan Ye stared into her eyes, expressionless, and said, "Because you’re annoying! If you keep arguing with me, the patient won’t need to be resuscitated anymore."

After hearing those words, Lin Qiushu looked at her grandmother reluctantly, then turned around and walked out of the ward.

"The patient’s breathing has failed again!" a nurse said.

"Put on the oxygen mask."

The resuscitation continued for more than two hours, and the patient’s condition finally stabilized.

Yan Ye breathed a sigh of relief, removed his mask, and walked out of the ward.
