Chapter 167: Chapter 167 Disliked
He’s still here, so where’s Ye Wei’an?
Shen Zhaozhao looked around but didn’t see Ye Wei’an. She turned to Sheng Chuyi and asked, “Didn’t you and Ye Wei’an go back first? Where is she?”
Sheng Chuyi: “She left first!”
“Left first?” How could that be possible?
Given the way she was looking at him just now, how could she possibly pass up the chance to be alone with this guy and leave on her own?
“Did you say something to her?” Shen Zhaozhao tentatively asked.
He couldn’t have used that icy face of his to drive her away, could he?
“What do you think I would say to her?” Sheng Chuyi looked at her and countered indifferently.
Shen Zhaozhao: “How would I know? Forget it, I can’t be bothered with you guys. Let’s go back!” As long as this guy didn’t spill the beans about the two of them living together, it was fine.
But Sheng Chuyi held her back: “Let’s not go back just yet.”
Shen Zhaozhao looked at him suspiciously: “You can’t be thinking the run wasn’t enough and now you want to take me somewhere to work out? I’m telling you, I’d rather die than go.”
All she wanted now was to go back and lie down.
“Don’t worry, you’ll like it.” Sheng Chuyi finished speaking and took her by the hand, turning around.
On the other side, Ye Wei’an was not content to leave on her own. After she left, she came back and just happened to witness this scene.
Shen Zhaozhao thought he was going to take her somewhere fancy, but when they arrived, she discovered it was actually a game arcade.
This was indeed something she liked, but it didn’t seem like the kind of place he would go to.
This man never even played games in his daily life, so her coming to a game arcade was definitely unexpected.
Upon entering, she immediately saw Zhou Huaiyu and Gu Chengzhou.
The two were engrossed in a battle, each holding a light gun in their arms.
Zhou Huaiyu, glancing up and spotting Sheng Chuyi, couldn’t help but stop his game and say, “Finally, you’ve decided to come out. I thought we wouldn’t see you at all this vacation.”
The next second, he saw Shen Zhaozhao following behind him.
“Tsk, I wondered why you weren’t coming out no matter how we tried to find you, turns out you were not here to meet us but to take a girl out for fun.”
Then he waved at Shen Zhaozhao: “Hey, sister Zhaozhao!”
“Hey!” Shen Zhaozhao greeted the two men with ease.
Right then, the words game over appeared on the screen.
“Can I give it a try?” Shen Zhaozhao was eager.
“Sure!” Zhou Huaiyu handed the light gun over to her and said, “Want to let Brother Yi join you for a round?”
“Him? Forget it!” Shen Zhaozhao scoffed, “I’ve never seen him play games since we were kids.”
Zhou Huaiyu couldn’t help but laugh and, looking at Sheng Chuyi with sympathy, patted him on the shoulder and said, “Looks like you’re being scorned by the girl, eh!”
Sheng Chuyi gave him a cold look: “Take your hand off.”
Zhou Huaiyu felt as if he’d been frozen and hissed as he quickly withdrew his hand.
As the game started, Shen Zhaozhao picked up the gun and made a clean headshot with her first attempt. This move stunned everyone else present.
“Not bad, sister Zhaozhao, I didn’t expect you to be so good!” Zhou Huaiyu complimented her with raised eyebrows and admiration.
“Of course!” Shen Zhaozhao said with pride.
She might not be great at studying, but when it comes to eating, drinking, and playing, she was second to none.
“Next time, let’s go for real life CS. I know a place that offers a real life CS experience; it’s super fun,” Zhou Huaiyu said with excitement in his voice.
“Sure!” Shen Zhaozhao agreed readily.
Sheng Chuyi, however, had a stern look on his face and said to Zhou Huaiyu, “Who’s your sister? Don’t call her that!”
Zhou Huaiyu raised his eyebrows at him: “Sister Zhaozhao doesn’t mind, so why do you care what I call her?”
