?With the information he received from the Sparrow Spirits' memories, Zayn chose to leave the town. free๐š ๐šŽ๐š‹๐’๐š˜ัต๐žl.๐‘o๏ฝ

The immediate surrounding of the town didn't seem dangerous and he had made enough preparations to leave without any problems. He wasn't wearing the black bandages anymore which was also why nobody bothered blocking him when he left. Everyone could see his bare arm, or rather the absence of a Stigma.

That was even more reason not to pay any more attention toward him.

Zayn was satisfied with the non-existent attention he received. He traveled through the wilderness for the entire day and rested only when it was late at night. The Agile Human Spirit emerged from the Grimoire of the Ancient after having fully recovered and recuperated from exhaustion. It was to rumble with his whole body moving vigorously as Zayn instructed him to pay attention to the surroundings.

Controlling the Agile Human Spirit was rather simple. Zayn gave the Spirit orders which it followed with forced loyalty. The orders didn't have to be precise as long as Zayn's intentions were clear in his mind when he issued the command. His mind and intentions were the most important since his Spirits could clearly feel what he felt and meant when giving an order.

Zayn slept soundly on a large branch of one of the few large trees he found around him. He woke up early in the morning and he sent out his Sparrow Spirits once again to take a look at his surroundings. For now, he was not in the conquered territory of the Undead, and Zayn wanted to prevent that from happening in the future as well. ๐’‡๐”ฏe๐šŽ๐˜„๐‘’๐‘๐™ฃ๐‘œ๐šŸ๐—ฒ๐‘™.c๐˜ฐ๐š–

The only Undead Monsters he was willing to face were Goblin Skeletons and other weak Ordinary Undead. As long as they weren't Mutants or in the possession of a Soulring, everything would be fine.

"If I kill a few hundred ordinary Goblin Skeletons, I should have enough soul particles to finish my first Soulring,' Zayn thought as he contemplated whether he should focus on his own progress until he finished his first Soulring, or if he should start strengthening his Spirits.

His highest priority, for now, was to get his hands on a monster that could be very well used as a mount once turned into a Spirit. Traveling around with a mount would make things much easier for him, especially in situations like right now!

Thus, it was only obvious that Zayn was overjoyed when the Sparrow Spirits returned from their scouting tour with a solid piece of information. They shared the memories of large groups of ordinary Undeads that were on their east and a small group of Undead Wolves hunting a Bear, or a monster that looked like a black-furred Bear in the west not too far away from Zayn's current position.

The only difference Zayn perceived was that its claws were longer than that of an ordinary Bear's Claws, that the Bear was extremely skinny, and that it had large moose antlers which it used to push the Undead Wolves around.

No matter what happened on his left, Zayn had to go there. The Mocalw Bear, if he was not mistaking the race of the Bear for something else, was a powerful monster that was rarely seen in the human territory. Zayn knew that it hibernated in the caverns hidden on the plateaus of the central region but he would have never expected to encounter one of them so soon.

'A perfect mount!' Zayn shouted in his mind and he rushed to his left no sooner had he made a decision. He ran over the plains at full speed for two minutes straight before he saw the two-meter tall and three meter long monster towering over the bones of the Undead Wolves.

It was only obvious but the Mocalw Bear had been a formidable opponent. He fought with all his might and squashed the Undead Wolves with its heavy body. The bones of the Undead Wolves were tossed aside without much care. However, Zayn noticed something that made a smile tug at his lips.

Despite the Mocalw Bear's strength and highly resilient fur, the monster was not immune to the wolves' attacks. The bear was covered in deep gashes and bite marks, and was bleeding severely. It was clear that the battle had been fierce and that the Undead wolves hadn't been willing to give up. Being existences that didn't know what pain was, to begin with, the undead had ripped chunks of flesh out of the Mocalw Bear.

Chunks of flesh were missing from various areas of the monster's body, and it was badly wounded, but the bear had proven that it was a force to be reckoned with.

Unfortunately, the monster had now encountered Zayn and his four Spirits in its current state.

"It would be a lie if I were to say that I'm sorry, butโ€ฆI am sorry," Zayn said while looking at everything but sorry. He had a bright smile on his face and retrieved a bunch of weapons from his expanding pouch.

Two karambit knuckles, the Dao Saber, and a large iron shield were retrieved by Zayn and caught midair by the Agile Human Spirit, and the Herculean Human Spirit that emerged from within Zayn's body

The sudden appearance of multiple valiant fighters was enough to prevent the Mocalw Bear from roaring out in triumph. On the contrary, it roared out loudly in an attempt to intimidate Zayn and his companions.

However, this failed miserably as two large fire needles shot through the air, one aimed at the wide-open mouth of the bear and the other one aimed at the monster's left eye.

The fire needle aimed at the eye missed its target while the other one pierced through the wide open mouth of the Mocalw Bear. Its' roar ended immediately and it soon morphed into a miserable squeal of horrid pain.

But that was not something Zayn or any of his Spirit cared about as they charged at the monster that was fated to become Zayn's fifth Spirit!

"Come to Daddy!"
