Talentless Extra Of The Legendary Hero Academy-Chapter 126: The Obsidian Bleed
Chapter 126: The Obsidian Bleed
A shiver ran down Severin’s body as he listened. "An organization... so you had help back in the human world."
He nodded his head. Head Librarian Teresa was part of such organization. She was previously in Sector Delta as well and then found a job at the Academy, the perfect spot to carry out her plan of putting a seed in someone’s shadow.
Severin looked at Veyron with raised brows. "But it doesn’t seem as if you and Shadow Lord are as cooperative as you said."
Veyron flashed a bitter smile. "The bastard betrayed me by manipulating their shadows and writing down instructions of what he wanted. Through the years and all the people that passed through, he had managed to take firm control of our organization and do as he wanted.
"But I never thought he would have the seed already. This sly bastard would have consumed the Dolor’s power without us even knowing about it!"
"What is the name of the organization?" Severin asked.
"The Obsidian Bleed!"
Severin stiffened immediately and his face went blank. Then his eyes widened as if something struck him hard. He flinched and his body shook as it seemed something exploded in his head.
Memories flooded his head, a wave that threatened to drown him. He saw blood, lots of blood, and the bodies. The bodies without skin that were still alive.
They had screamed so hard and long that their throats were worn, and they could only make gasping sounds.
Horrors.
Unimaginable pain that went straight to his heart like a bolt and twisted it like a tornado.
Severin shook, and in the middle of it all was him. Severin Reignhart.
Suddenly a cold, piercing light shattered the memories. They broke into fragments as he emerged. He gasped out loud and his body trembled slightly.
What the fuck.
What the fuck!
Those memories. Even now Severin’s hand went to his chest, above his heart, and he held it. How can someone have that much pain?
Before he entered Severin Reignhart’s body, just who was he and what in the hell happened to him for him to have such memories? The memories were so strong it felt as if they were alive.
And one thing triggered it.
That name. The name of the organization. The Obsidian Bleed. It was the same when he saw the bloody skull with flesh earlier. Severin shook his head.
Veyron was watching him with a frown. "Do you know of the organization?"
Severin smiled bitterly. The look on his face was cold and dark. His blue eyes had a hint of redness. "It seems I do. But it’s quite strange indeed. I can’t remember."
Veyron frowned. "Too bad indeed."
Suddenly Severin shrugged, and from his back, overlapping illusory darkness fell away like dust. "Don’t waste your time, Shadow Lord. Your sneak attack was detected a long time ago. I just wanted to keep you busy."
Shadow Lord instantly wore an angry look, but before he could do anything, Severin made his own move.
A spear suddenly formed behind Shadow Lord and stabbed him in the back. A surprised gasp fell from his lips as he turned his head.
"The dust, Shadow Lord. I turned Grace into a dust to get close to you and then I reformed it. Quite simple. Then, would you like to take a break? I will deal with you later."
Severin flicked his right hand.
A giant palm appeared in the air and then smacked Shadow Lord down as if he was swatting a fly.
The green palm disappeared as he turned to Veyron. He smiled, and the man took an instinctive step back. "Time to tell me all I need to know about this seed."
"You... I..."
Severin was suddenly in front of him in a flash.
Veyron raised his hand where bolts of silver lightning gathered, but with his hand covered in green energy, he gripped the lightning without fear. "Grace suppresses. I now have perfect control over it. This is a weapon that can kill a god, and you are not one."
Veyron’s eyes widened. "I..."
He didn’t get the chance.
A roaring wave of cracking power erupted out of Severin with a supersonic boom that shattered the ground and made the sky tremble as the shockwave rippled for miles.
But even then, Veyron gritted his teeth. "You are only food for my master!"
Severin smiled coldly. "We’ll see. I will know what I need to know about this seed."
Then they began to fight.
No, Severin began to beat him brutally.

"Are you ready to tell me now?"
They had returned to the ground.
Severin stood with his hands folded in front of him, and the mass of flesh in front of him twitched.
He had beaten Veyron to the stage where almost all the bones in his body were shattered, his flesh torn, and his left leg was gone, ripped right off.
But still, the man would not say anything.
"I already told you, Severin. You can only be food. I can’t tell you anything. Come with me to Dolor and let’s talk."
Only his voice seemed whole about him.
Severin frowned slightly. Everyone has a price. It was one of the things he loved about humanity. The fact that with the right price, almost everything could be traded.
Even the pain that he was inflicting on Veyron was a price, something he could use to buy the man, but it seemed he wasn’t willing to be sold just then.
Or someone had already bought him.
Dolor.
Severin didn’t bother then. He gave the man an angry glare. "Very well. But know this, I will not give you an easy death for trying to kill me!"
"Dolor will get to you one day! He shall be free, and he would avenge me..." Veyron laughed, his tone filled with madness.
Severin watched impassively as a giant green leg made of energy appeared above and then stepped on him, crushing him flat.
Severin sighed. "What a shitty mess. Why does everything have to turn even more complicated?"
