Talentless Extra Of The Legendary Hero Academy-Chapter 136: He’s here
Chapter 136: He’s here
Whispers spread around the room. They all knew who Severin Reignhart is. Who doesn’t? The first founder of a new House in how many years?
The weakest guy in the Academy that somehow managed to build a House and even secure resources for it as well. Although they are not powerful, with the arrival of their patron instructor, they couldn’t be ignored or messed with.
But the biggest news about the House was their leader, the one that was sent into Sector Delta even though only the strong and promising are usually sent there.
Rumors had spread that Severin had somehow offended the Academy and sending him to the place was his punishment, their way of killing him.
Besides, no one can question the Academy on it because they all sign the enrollment contract, which warned several that the Academy is a high-risk place. The mortality rate is too high.
Darius’s face was solemn as he raised his voice. "Severin Reignhart!"
As is the custom, they would call three times and then they’d strike his name out, and since he didn’t have any points for the exams, they might even rusticate him.
Darius opened his mouth again, his face was hard and solemn because he knew how it was going to end.
But then suddenly a commotion happened among the students. Some five students stood up, their faces wide and mouths slightly open in sheer shock.
Darius was instantly irritated and his eyes narrowed. His voice was chilly. "What are you doing?"
But the students that stood didn’t reply. Some of them shuddered and trembled, their faces showing different emotions from shock to pain and confusion.
Darius recognized the students then. They are all from House Chains. They are all from the House of Severin Reignhart. Immediately, his eyes narrowed as he felt a chill.
What’s going on?
"Something is not right," Darius thought as he watched them. "Why is their aura fluctuating so wildly? What is going on?"
Indeed, things were far from being right for them. Derrick, Julius, Serena, Ethan, and Celia felt something at the same time that made them stand up instinctively.
It wasn’t a single thing. It was a bundle of things. They felt the link between them and Severin thrummed. Pain flooded their bodies and their own abilities seemed to twist and shiver, roaring through their veins like a hungry beast that just saw food.
And then finally they felt something bore down on them. It was a feeling of power that was different from the normal thing they usually feel.
They looked towards the door instinctively. "He’s here!"
Their voices snapped and echoed in the now silent room like a whip. All the students turned to them in surprise.
"Who is here? What are they talking about?"
But Darius was quick to catch on. His hand tightened but he refused to believe in the impossibility. He knew what was to go down in Sector Delta.
There is no way.
No fucking way!
But then suddenly they all heard footsteps approach the entrance door.
The hall was so silent that they could hear each other’s heartbeat.
Subtle tension filled the air.
Suddenly a shadow that seemed to be impossibly long was cast into the hall. The shadow was thicker than normal, like spilled ink or old blood.
Then the doorway was blocked.
Someone was standing at the door.
Everyone sucked in a sharp breath.
They saw a faded uniform, worn and torn. One of the trouser legs was totally ripped away. He wore no shoes. Dirt and grime covered his body.
But his face was calm as he watched everyone in the room.
His blue eyes tranquil and so blue. But when he moved his eyes away, some saw a hint of red in it.
It is him.
He’s here.
Severin Reignhart turned towards Darius Faulkner. "I am here, Head Instructor."
His voice was harsh and weary, like an old sword that was still sharp.
Darius couldn’t help it. He took a step back and the shock on his face was more than anyone else in the room. He knew. He knew what he was seeing should not be possible.
It should not be happening.
But it was.

But in the next instant, the shock and surprise were wiped clean from his face. His right hand twitched, but before anything could happen, the space around him grew thick and oppressive, as if the very place was aggressive and empty air would leap at him with invisible claws.
He turned and saw mad Instructor Ardent staring at him intently from the place where the instructors arranged themselves. It was the first time that he would be attending ever, and the other instructors sat far away from him.
Darius’s eye shone and he seemed to be asking Ardent, "Do you know about this? Did you plan it together?"
Ardent shrugged, but his eyes were still on the Head Instructor.
By the time Darius turned back, Severin was already in front of him and he almost flinched. He stared at him and Severin stared back. Then he bowed.
"Thank you for the opportunity, Head Instructor Darius Faulkner. Without you, I wouldn’t have been able to advance. Thank you very much."
Darius blinked and then he forced a smile that soon turned on his lips smoothly. "Of course, student Severin. The Academy’s goal is to push its students to the height they couldn’t reach otherwise."
The students had begun to murmur again, their voices now a loud noise, while House Chains members stared at their leader in surprise and daze.
Derrick was the first to break out of it and he snorted, his mouth shaping into a sneer. "Of course he’s here. The fucking bastard knows how to draw attention. At least I won’t be the only one to be in the lower class among us."
But there was no heat in his voice. Only tiredness.
Julius adjusted his glasses. "Hmph! I knew it. He’s the kind that doesn’t like not keeping his words just so he could use it to act cool."
Ethan shook his head. "Ya. He’ll soon start acting high and mighty now, all mysterious as if he was some kind of secret intelligence spy."
Serena rolled her eyes and sagged back into her seat, while Celia looked at Severin as if she’d seen her delicious food. "How many techniques do you think he has to share?"
