Tempest of the Stellar War-Chapter 1322: Invasion
The situation at the Milky Way Alliance was changing. The Heaven’s Arrow Federation had thrown the blame to the Arbiter Republic and the Aslan Empire. This was the start of the expansion of an empire, the provocation against democracy and freedom. It did have some effect in the beginning, slowing down the Milky Way Alliance’s attack towards the Saint.
However, the cooperation between the Heaven’s Arrow Federation and the Saint came to light as they dug deeper.
The Heaven’s Arrow Federation denied it, of course. Everything could be forged in this era.
Nonetheless, the truth wasn’t important any longer. The people needed a target to vent since they couldn’t vent it on the Saint directly. The Heaven’s Arrow Federation was right for the role.
The ambassadors of Heaven’s Arrow Federation had been withdrawn. The huge fleet was in constant protest of the Heaven’s Arrow Federation.
A war was about to erupt!
Aslan’s request was simple – dissolve the Heaven’s Arrow Federation, investigate the 138 people in it, and allow their troops in.
The Heaven’s Arrow Federation obviously wouldn’t agree to this.
“Invasion! This is an invasion masked by your friendly faces! That makes you even more guilty! We will definitely not succumb to you sinful militarists! Citizens of the Heaven’s Arrow, we have to unite and fight against those invaders! Take up our weapons and fight! Fight for our freedom!”
The Heaven’s Arrow Federation issued a combat order nationwide!
Ryan was still working hard. He hadn’t lost all of his political status when he was kicked from the Milky Way Alliance. He still had considerable influence and voice in the Milky Way Alliance. The parliament also needed a transition.
Combat and sanctions were necessary to the Heaven’s Arrow Federation, but a large-scale war?
Ryan didn’t agree to it!
Most of the citizens were innocent. There was no need for them to pay for the mistakes made by the higher management.
“Using political means to solve problems and to avoid the tragedy of war, wasn’t that the original intention of the establishment of the Milky Way Alliance?”
Ryan made a commotion and put forward proposals to impose economic sanctions on the Heaven’s Arrow Federation so that the members of the Saint could be purged out by themselves…
There were people who supported the idea.
Gemini Star, Hail Cloud Alliance, Solar System, Clark Galaxy, and Norton Star also raised objections to war directly.
It was important to wake up from the anger of the Saint to solve the immediate problems on hand. However, they had to look at the future too. So what if the Heaven’s Arrow Federation and the Saint were cooperating? This couldn’t be the reason for war. The humans wouldn’t be able to take the burden once Pandora’s box was opened.
What kinds of chain effects would the aggressive countries such as Arbiter, Aslan, Manalasuo, and others make?
These aggressive countries had finally rounded their edges after nearly a hundred years. Would this war awaken their ambitions?
The Milky Way Alliance had, for nearly one hundred years, adhered to pacifism.
This had been the insistence whenever there had been a change in the speaker. The political proposition must be to uphold peace and oppose war, only Kashawen…
The situation was different now. Kashawen occupied the key position and had changed many key positions at an unprecedented rate, at least ten times the previous year.
However, it was now too late to go against it now. The overall situation could not be changed. They could only adapt passively.
They could only do their best to prevent a large scale war from breaking out!
According to Ryan, the invitation of friends with similar vision was not for Heaven’s Arrow Federation’s sake, nor was it for the expansion of the rest of the empires, but to stifle the ambition and avoid a world war.
If the Heaven’s Arrow Federation really disintegrated, they would be sliced up and shared by many of these strong countries and become extra resources for war. Countries were the same as humans. They would have further thoughts after they had the taste of something. One “Saint” after the other would appear.
Of course, Ryan didn’t think about Aslan’s determination to go to war.
The first battle against the Heaven’s Arrow Federation was over as he called for peace in Roland Garros…
The fuse was a small transportation fleet of the Heaven’s Arrow Federation carrying weapons. It was intercepted by the Milky Way Alliance and sparks flew.
The law enforcement spaceships were destroyed in an instant, owing to the fact that they lacked preparation and had underestimated the determination of the people of Heaven’s Arrow.
The fleet of DeRozan was furious and immediately ordered the rest of the fleet to “counterattack”.
The Heaven’s Arrow Federation was too confident, thinking their fleet could compete against0 Aslan’s. Heaven was by their side even though they were lacking large warships. Their fleet was small and maneuverable. Moreover, the alliance fleet wouldn’t dare to attack the planet filled with civilians. They were wrong, it didn’t take much for the fleet to destroy them. Space was now filled with wreckage of the warships. The alliance fleet didn’t care about the so-called casualties.
This was war!
The news traveled back to Roland Garros, and DeRozan’s first report was that the Heaven’s Arrow Federation had attacked first. Five enforcement spaceships had been sacrificed heroically. This was yet another provocation of the terrorists…
It then became natural to eliminate the Heaven’s Arrow Federation’s whole fleet. The report was just a process. The result was set in stone. The Alliance Fleet was going to crack down on the terrorist organizations and prevent them from growing any further.
Ryan and the rest of the anti-war members could say nothing else. The thing they were most worried about happened in the end. The war against the Saint had yet to start, but the war had started.
Kashawen peered at Ryan, a little disappointed at his silence. She could have sent him back to his “shorty planet” if he were to bring the notion of being against war again.
DeRozan’s report gave her the best reason to expand the scope of war.
“Everyone, please quiet down!”
Kashawen raised her hand.
The hall followed suit. Everyone knew that Kashawen was an absolute dictator.
“I’m proposing for Admiral DeRozan to be given the highest military authority for the Alliance Fleet to attack the Heaven’s Arrow Federation. We have to eliminate the terrorist forces with maximum safety for the citizens. We will never compromise with terrorist organizations!”
Ye Bingwen’s face changed. He was just about to protest but was stopped by the people around him. The Solar System Federation wasn’t in any position to comment, Kashawen had everything under control. They were forced to retaliate, and the terrorists were too arrogant. War was unavoidable now that they had reached this stage. The Alliance Fleet didn’t act immediately. They waited until they were authorized by the Alliance before they did anything. Of course, their attack was a bit overboard, but who would say anything?
Ye Bingwen glanced towards Ryan, the sturdy former person in charge. His face was also red with anger, but he had to swallow it all. He looked back at Ye Bingwen and shook his head lightly, indicating he also had to swallow it.
They would be booted out if they were to stand up against Kashawen now.
Tolerance was the most basic and important ability of a politician.
The proposal issued by Kashawen was passed by more than four-fifths of the votes. This kind of support rate was not possible when Ryan was in office. In fact, human aggression was the easiest to incite and obtain concurrence.
That was the beginning, and Kashawen immediately threw a second bomb.
“My last proposal. According to the latest information, the Thunder Alliance, similar to the Heaven’s Arrow Federation, has deep and close cooperation with the cult organization. They will be the second target of our plan to get rid of evil. I suggest the parliament approves it!”
The Thunder Alliance, a medium-sized country rich in heavy metal ore which was a strategic resource necessary for the manufacture of large warships. Just like the oil energy of the old era, although oil wasn’t rare, the more in the reserves, the better.
At present, the Thunder Alliance had at least 30% of the heavy metal ore market.
Also, the Thunder Alliance was as pudgy as a cake when compared to the strong Heaven’s Arrow Federation.
Kashawen’s words attracted the attention of the major countries.
The Heaven’s Arrow Federation would still need some time to be defeated, but the Thunder Alliance was basically served on a plate.
Ryan’s green face showed a hint of red.
The Thunder Alliance was one of his anti-war supporters.
The Ambassador of the Thunder Alliance stood up angrily. “I protest! This is plain slander! I protest!”
Kashawen’s expression was resolute. Her identity as a woman gave her an innate advantage at times, masking the ambitious politician in her. The evidence was very comprehensive, and information about the cooperation of the Thunder Alliance and the Saint appeared on the screens of everyone.
The larger countries started to lament. How dare these countries with easy resources support the dark forces behind their backs! This was a naked insult to the Milky Way Alliance!
Ryan, Ye Bingwen, and the rest could feel the desires of these people to head to war.
They looked at each other and then towards Kashawen. Her eyes reflected fanaticism…
Wang Zheng was lost once again…
His luck wasn’t bad. At least he hadn’t dropped into the sea or other weird places. Aina’s substitute had been transported somewhere else during the transfer. Wang Zheng could only wish her good luck.
He had been on the Oracle Star for a day and a night and had yet to find the place he was heading to, until a skylight column appeared. A voice resounded through the transmission array to the Holy City. “All disciples gather immediately.” The last trial had begun.
