Even though Cedric was talking with his partners his right eye was twitching. For some reason, his heart was in a mess. He felt like something wrong was going to happen. Cedric tried to pen down all the dangers and threats that possibly can happen. Nothing seemed to go wrong. But the name Eleanor made his heart race. He wished she could appear in front of him magically. He excused himself from talking to them and started walking here and there mindlessly feeling miserable, wondering how long Eleanor would take it to return to him. Martin came near Cedric when he saw how anxious he was.

"What’s wrong?" Martin asked.

"Eleanor went to the restroom but is yet to return," Cedric said.

"She is pregnant, okay? They take more time than normal," Martin said patting his shoulder.

"For some reason, I am not getting good vibes. My heart is restless. I wonder where is Nathaira. She supposed to follow Eleanor," Cedric said.

Just then Cedric saw Nathaira running towards them frantically.

"Cedric," Nathaira called him anxiously.

"What’s wrong?" Cedric asked feeling alarmed. He could feel his heart pounding in his throat just by looking at her face.

"Eleanor is missing," Nathaira said breathlessly.

Cedric’s heart dropped at her words.

"This is not time for pranking, Aira," Cedric said trying to act calm.

"I am not kidding! She is missing! I am searching for her for the past ten minutes! But nowhere to be found!" she yelled.

He saw red and stormed towards Anthony. Anthony was talking with Myna. He grabbed and pushed him to the wall catching him off guard.

"I know it when you came here! I know you have no pure intentions! I thought you are a man and attacked face to face! But never thought you would stoop so low! I want my wife back! If I don’t have her back in the next few hours... you will regret it!" Cedric warned.

"Now I know, why Aiden and his son want Eleanor to come back to them. You become a fool when you are angry," Anthony said as he pushed Cedric away from him.

Dusting his suit, he neatened his clothes. "Use your brain before you open your mouth. I don’t know who kidnapped her. I have no hand in this. Take it if you want to believe me, if not scram and find her. She is freaking pregnant!" Anthony said tightening his tie.

When Martin and Nathaira saw Cedric hurrying towards Anthony they followed. Myna was flustered when she saw them.

"Cedric! Watch your words! He is my dad! Why would he kidnap Eleanor? There is no logic in your accusations!" Myna yelled.

Valene was already on her side now. Others also joined to control them but they were surprised to see calm Cedric who didn’t punch Anthony till now. But were again shocked when saw Myna’s outburst. She doesn’t know that Eleanor was Anthony’s daughter.

"There is a complete logic. Only he needs to kidnap her! Because he is her biological father who left her years ago! Which my poor Eleanor doesn’t know!" Cedric said and glared at Anthony.

He couldn’t control his anger and raised his fist to punch his face. But Anthony was faster. He caught Cedric’s fist, and by twisting it he held it back.

"You are lucky that I changed. If it’s old me, your dead body would be lying here by now. I did nothing. And get that into your mind. If I did, I would take her away in front of your eyes not sneakily," Anthony said in his dangerously low voice.

Anthony let his hand go and pushed him away. Taking his phone out, he called his assistant. Saying something he hung the call.

"I may not be with her till today, but I never let her get harmed from the time I got to know her existence. Now... watch me saving her, you fool," Anthony said.

"And Aiden, see what kind of useless son-in-law you got for our daughter. Take her with you when I rescue her. He is not worthy of her," Anthony said looking at Aiden. Aiden gave a skeptical look to Anthony who said he was not going to believe him.

"I won’t take her with me, till she agrees. And I will never separate her from you because I realized some things are important in life," Anthony said as he placed his hand on his shoulder. With that, he was about to leave.

"Dad, is this real?" Myna asked finally finding her voice.

"Yes," Anthony replied.

"Then why didn’t you help them when they were on the verge of bankruptcy and when brother Martin met with an accident?" Myna asked in a low shivering voice.

"I will tell you the truth. But not now. After I find your sister," Anthony said before walking away.

Myna slumped to the ground when she heard his words. She doesn’t know what to say or what to do.

She felt like her whole life is a lie.

She was a best friend to her sister. And her brother was here in a disguise. Myna thought he was here for her. But now she realized it’s not the case.

And the people around her just watched everything but never said a single thing. She realized they knew everything but never told her.

She felt like an idiot for being like this.

She got up and walked out of the venue, staggering not caring about others. She hired a taxi and went to her apartment.

Valene and others were shocked in their places. But when they recovered Myna left and Cedric and others were involved in finding Eleanor forgetting the hurt Myna.

But only Nathaira and Tiffany know how hurt she is. When Valene was about to go after Myna, Nathaira stopped him saying not to follow her.

As of now, Myna needs space, which others should respect. Pressuring her or pushing her would only create distance between them.
