"Sir, we are going to land," Thomas said to Anthony.

"Hmm," he hummed.

That bastard dared to kidnap his daughter and kill his grandson. He got some balls. He will make sure that wherever his guts came from he will turn into mist in a second.

Soon, the choppers landed near the port.

Anthony took out his weapons and equipment and was about to carry them but was stopped by Thomas.

"Again what?" He growled.

"What if this gun powder and blood smell make the lady nauseous? We have to be careful with her health. We can’t take chances," Thomas said, taking the equipment from him.

Suddenly, Anthony realized he knew nothing about how to take care of a pregnant lady. In fact, how could he know? He never took care of his pregnant wife. She had a miscarriage after they got married and that deteriorated her health.

Maybe he should learn about these things. "Arrange some books for me to know how to take care of a pregnant woman," Anthony said thoughtfully.

"We can bring madam here. She will be happy to see the lady and also will help you take care of her," Thomas said.

"When did you become so smart?" Anthony asked with surprise. He realized his assistant was too smart. And he feels like he was dumb.

Was his age acting up?

This shouldn’t be.

"We should take care of the man that laid hands on the lady," Thomas said, bringing Anthony from his thoughts.

Anthony nodded and walked ahead. He let his men start clearing the men for him. He didn’t let himself be drenched in blood or touch the gun.

Jacob heard some gun sounds. This can’t be. No one knew about him apart from his friend. His friend won’t betray him. And Cedric has the energy to find him but this fast. It’s barely two hours since he kidnapped Eleanor. He can’t find it for two hours. At least he will take one to two days. In that time, he would have left. And his place and whereabouts were unknown to him.

He wondered when he got this fast tracker. But yet now is not the time to mull. He takes Eleanor and runs from here. Maybe a lifeboat can do it. He walked to the place where lifeboats were found. He pulled it out and threw it in the water. He will call his friend and will ask him to get Eleanor there.

He can’t take risks.

He will just flee without telling anyone, then it will do good for him.

Anthony stepped into the deck and started searching for that skunky man.

"Did anybody find that man?" Anthony asked in Bluetooth.

"No, Sir," he heard everyone saying on his Bluetooth.

"Sir! I found him!" he heard one loud voice that almost burst his ears. If it was a normal case, he would have chopped his tongue but it’s a matter that belongs to his daughter. He couldn’t care less about his yells now.

"Where is he?" Anthony asked.

"Sir, that smelly scarred man is taking the lifeboat. I guess he is trying to run away," his men said.

"Drag him out. Drag him to me," Anthony said.

"Yes, sir," he yelled. He could hear his others who were done with their job already walking toward the man who yelled to help.

Anthony knew how to pick loyal men. His men would protect his family with everything. And he has a team of twenty men. Only these men knew about his family be it bastards or others. And fortunately, he doesn’t have bastard children.

These people will protect their family members at any time, anyway even if it cost their lives.

When Jacob did taking the lifeboat and arranged it, he started walking toward Eleanor’s room. He was petrified to see the bodies of the henchmen lying on the floor with blood. The ship’s floor was flowing with blood staining the boat. One could feel bile rising to see that sight. Even Jacob felt like throwing up seeing this. He wondered if it was a wise decision to take Eleanor with him or not.

Never realized that Cedric was this cruel or gruesome. Cedric became powerful during the time he disappeared.

But Eleanor was a golden goose. Just her shares can give him enough money. He can go for plastic surgery and get his face back. And then he could use her money to start his business. Eleanor was good at business, he will make her work for him. If they lost the business Martin will surely help. He loves his stupid sister unconditionally. Martin will never watch her starve or suffer. Eleanor was his weapon.

He can’t go back. He has to do it now or never. Jacob won’t get another to kidnap her. He will take everything to have her with him. Her money, body, and everything tempt him. Even though Jacob’s father was supporting him, he can’t get monetary support from him for the sake of his relations with the top 5.

And the only way for this crisis solution was... Eleanor. She created the problem for him and she will be the solution for him.

He tried to move stealthily with every step he took towards her room. But still, he got caught. Whom was he kidding? Its Anthony. Maybe when he realizes that it was Anthony Thorne Hallard, then he will know that he was not a match for the golden goose. Or never a match for the golden goose.

If he was good to her, Jacob would have got everything. His family inheritance, his handsome face, money, dreams, and everything. But he ruined it himself. But he never realized. He thought he deserves everything. If he was in delusion what can god do?
