That Time My Anime Life Got Cursed by Outer Gods-Chapter 103 - 102: Finding Thor!
Chapter 103 - 102: Finding Thor!
Ordinary experts might struggle against her, because with the blessing of thunder, her flight speed was astonishing.
But if she were discovered by a Tier 6 level monster, once caught in a domain, death would be inevitable.
"I'm looking for Lord Thor."
Kanna's aqua-blue eyes stared straight at Shiro Sakamaki—crystal-like, emotionless, yet striking in their depth.
"Who's Thor?"
"Lord Thor is a dragon. An adult dragon."
For the first time, Kanna's expression shifted slightly. There was a glimmer of longing—something warm behind the otherwise blank face.
Shiro's heart stirred. He had a hunch the moment he saw Kanna, but now it was confirmed—Thor had already arrived in the human world.
And if Thor was here, it was only a matter of time before Fafnir, Lucoa, and Elma followed.
Kanna, still just a child, already held Tier 7-level power—nearly on par with Shiro's peak form.
So what kind of strength did Thor wield? And Lucoa, who once bore the title of a goddess?
The thought gave Shiro chills.
"You're sure Thor is in Tokyo?"
"Definitely. I can smell her... but the scent is faint. Too many humans around. I haven't found her yet."
Shiro nodded slowly. "Still, it's too dangerous for you to wander here alone. You should return to the dragon realm."
"But... I was exiled."
Kanna's voice dropped. She lowered her head, disappointment etched into every word.
So it's true.
Just like the story he remembered.
Shiro knelt, reaching a hand toward her soft white hair—but Kanna flinched and stepped back, alert.
Not unexpected. After all, it was their first meeting.
"So, you're stranded here, exiled with nowhere to go. You caught Thor's scent, and you've been looking for her ever since. Right?"
"Mm." She nodded.
Before he could respond, Kanna's gaze locked onto the half-eaten bacon toast in his hand.
He moved the toast to the left—her eyes followed.
"You want this?"
"I'm not hungry."
Then—gurgle.
Her stomach betrayed her.
Shiro sighed, amused. "You're clearly starving. How about we get you something to eat? After that, I'll help you find Thor."
He knew he was being sincere, but the situation did make him look like some shady guy trying to lure a loli with food.
"Can you really help me find Lord Thor?"
Kanna's voice was flat, but her eyes—those crystal eyes—seemed to shimmer with cautious hope.
"I wouldn't lie to you. Think of it as an act of kindness."
Kanna thought about it. She wasn't going to outrun someone like Shiro, and he hadn't hurt her even when he could. After a moment of silence, she nodded.
"Yes." She patted her stomach with both hands. "I'm hungry."
"Alright," Shiro chuckled. "Let's get you fed first. After that, we'll look for Thor."
Her eyes, however, stayed glued to the bacon-toast in his hand.
"This is what I already started. You sure you don't mind?" fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
He offered it. Kanna leaned forward and took a bite without hesitation.
...
Shiro brought her home first. Her earlier scuffle left her dusty, and honestly, he wasn't feeling too fresh either.
He was planning to take a shower before heading out for food.
Cooking was off the table—he knew his own limits in the kitchen, and Kanna's appetite was anything but small. If he tried cooking, they'd still be eating by nightfall.
"Wait here. This is the remote—watch whatever you like."
"I'll shower, then we'll go eat."
Kanna gave a small nod and curled up on the plush sofa. Her wide, curious eyes landed on the cartoon flickering on the screen. She quietly focused.
Shiro watched her for a second, making sure she was fine, then headed into the bathroom with a fresh set of clothes.
Later at lunch, he took her to a cozy, well-reviewed restaurant with private booths.
As dishes were laid out, Kanna's eyes sparkled with barely restrained excitement.
"All of this... I can eat?"
"Everything here is yours. Just say what you want."
"...Shiro Sakamaki, you're a good person."
Despite her flat tone, her words warmed him unexpectedly.
Before he could react, Kanna had already picked up a large lobster.
Crunch. Crunch.
Shell, meat—nothing survived her dragon fangs. The whole thing was gone in a few bites.
