The Absolute beast Tamer-Chapter 104: AFTER BARBECUE KILL
Number 17 was the first to arrive at the rendezvous point.
No. 17: "I give up; I truly can't tell which is a grass and which is the herb that you are looking for."
Alan: "It is okay; at least you tried."
No. 17: "So did you find it?"
No. 9: "Yes"
No. 17: "That's good because I doubt the rest of us will have any better luck than mine."
Alan: "Here it is."
No. 17: "Let me see. It just looks like the grass growing beside the road. I can't tell the difference."
Alan: "You just take time and get familiar with the herbs, then the experience plays its role."
The three of them waited for the others to come, and it did not take long for the next one to arrive.
Number 18 came with a huge smile on her face. It was clear that the result of her search was fruitful.
No. 18: "You guys are early; I take it you found the grass."
No. 17: "I didn't, but 33 and 9 did. Your face will break from smiling, so I guess that you found something."
No. 18: "I did so; here, take a look."
Number 18 handed the grass that she found to number 17, who was clueless, so she passed it to Alan, who examined it thoroughly.
Alan: "Yep, this is the herb that we need. Excellent job, senior, finding It is by no means an easy task."
No. 17: "No way, she found it."

No. 9: "Good job."
The praise coming from number nine made the already happy number 18 feel euphoric as the Stone Cold statue of perfection actually praised her for the first time ever since they enrolled in this program.
The rest of the seeds did not have the same luck as number 18; one after the other, they all gathered around the meeting point, either empty-handed or completely picking the wrong herb, mistaking it with the grass growing everywhere.
After hours of waiting, almost everyone has gathered together, leaving only one who did not come back in time.
No. 17: "80 is late."
No. 18: "Do we look for him? We already have what we need."
Alan: "There is no need; we still have a lot of time, so we will wait. In the meantime, why don't we prepare a meal and have lunch?"
No. 9: "I'll go get the meat."
No. 25: "I'll go with you."
No. 18: "I will help you cook."
No. 17: "Don't worry; I will be here to eat."
Everyone laughed at the cute antics of number 17.
From far away yet so close, instructor Tony was watching like a hawk. He felt dissatisfied when he saw that all the seeds gathered around making barbecues and eating food as if they were on a picnic.
Especially when he went closer, the smell was so good that he actually wanted to crash their picnic and have some of their food.
Instructor Tony: "Those brats, they don't have any respect for their teachers. They had food twice and enjoyed outdoor barbecues, and none of them had the thought of inviting me over to join."
It was not clear if he was talking to himself or he was blaming his new disciples for being so inconsiderate.
Eating and enjoying the delicious meal, everyone completely forgot about number 80, who was clearly late.
No80: "Why the hell did you not wait for me, you traitors?"
The screaming voice of an angry number 80 vibrated through the camp as he was almost crying when he saw that everyone started eating, making such a feast without even considering waiting for him.
No. 17: "You took a lot of time; it's your fault."
No80: "What do you mean? I had to look for the grass."
No. 18: "We all did."
No. 80: "Give me a piece of this barbecue; I'm starving."
No. 25: "Nah, nah, nah, nah. First, tell us about your harvest. You spend so much time looking for the grass; you must have found it."
With a sore expression on his face, number 80, who missed the delicious piece of meat right in front of him, could not help but sigh. Then a weird smile formed on his face that was full of confidence.
No. 80: "Lo and behold, I took my time, but I found a lot!!"
Taking a small basket that was clearly poorly made containing a bunch of grass stacked to the brim of the basket.
No. 17: "No way!!"
No. 18: "All of this is the type of grass that we want?"
No. 80: "Now you see why I was late. I do not give up on my objective like some do, and I always bring better results than expected."
The smug smile on his face completely pissed off number 17, who did not find the herb.
Alan walked towards the basket as he politely asked for permission to inspect it.
No. 80: "Go ahead, 33, but you have to grill some meat for me."
Alan carefully sorted through the grass in the basket, carefully examining every single strand.
Alan: "Congratulations, senior, you found the whole serving of a good feed that you can take with you back home if your family has a farm. Sadly for us, you did not find what we wanted.
Everyone: "Hahahaha."
No. 80: "No way, all my hard work is for nothing."
No. 17: "Hahaha, at least I knew when to give up. Poor thing, you missed the barbecue to collect an ordinary grass. Hardworking indeed."
No. 18: "Stop it, 17; this is as far as he could go with his IQ."
No. 17: "hahahahahaha"
Alan: "It's okay; we all know that this is not your forte, so how about you eat first and forget about all of this? After all, we found the herb that we need."
No. 9: "We will move immediately after we finish the food; we don't want to waste any time, so we will execute the plan as soon as possible."
The whole team of seeds agreed with number nine, so after the break, well rested and with a full belly, every single one of them was ready for action.
The team returned to the Green Hill as they circled around the herd, trying to find the ideal target.
No. 80: "Found one. It is almost a kilometer away from the rest; it's ideal to try."
Picking their target was only the first step; Alan crushed the herb while everyone stationed themselves in various places to join the assault the moment number nine gave the signal.
No. 80: "Are you sure it's working? I don't smell anything."
No. 9: "Good for you, we have confirmed that you are barely human."
Alan: "She means that we can't smell it, but the rhino mammoth can."
The massive, large, and extremely intimidating beast, which was slightly further away from the herd, suddenly picked up on a very sweet smell that was extremely inviting and alluring for his taste buds.
Slowly the massive beast moved, following the smell, completely unaware that it was drifting slowly further and further away from the herd.
No. 9: "How far?"
No. 17: "10 kilometers"
Alan: "Not enough; we'll go further."
The distance expanded more as the huge beast continued to follow the smell; after crossing almost 30 km, the beast suddenly woke up from what seemed to be a dream as it looked behind, clearly remembering something important.
Important enough to wake it up from dreams of tasting the delicious source of the sweet smell.
No. 9: "That's enough."
Alan: "Yes, give the signal."
Simultaneously, number nine finally gave the signal for the attack as if they had rehearsed their combined attack many times before. Everyone did their part, following number nine, who used her ice to entrap the massive beasts, freezing their legs to the ground.
Meanwhile, everyone concentrated their attack on the belly under the beast, which was furious, trying to get rid of the ice that was binding him to the ground and squash these bugs that were attacking him.
It did not take long for all of them to take it down, 1 minute to be exact. That's all the time they needed to take an eighth stage beast down.
No. 17: "We did it."
No. 18: "Yes, finally!!"
Celebration was overdue as their joy was interrupted by a massive blowing voice coming from the direction of the herd.
As they were standing next to the carcass of the beast, everyone felt an angry scream boiling with overwhelming aura passing through them.
No. 80: "We need to get out of here right now!!"
No. 17: "The instructor said that no 9th-stage beast will interfere."
No. 9: "Store the rhino body and move."
They ran as fast as they could. Three minutes later, right at the place where the rhino was killed, a much bigger mammoth beast arrived with clearly a much more powerful aura and an anger that was boiling, especially when it saw the blood all over the place.
It took the massive beast a split second to determine the direction that everyone fled into.
Just as it was about to move, the massive beast felt a presence on its back, suddenly stopping every movement as if it was frozen in time.
Instructor Tony: "Go back to your herd."
A few simple words were spoken before he disappeared, leaving the massive beast frozen even after he vanished from this place.
The only thing left was not anger or grief in the eyes of the massive beast but a great amount of relief as if it had been granted a new life.
Meanwhile, the instructor could not believe what happened.
Instructor Tony: "F***, they did it so easily while having a barbecue!!!"
