The Absolute beast Tamer-Chapter 106 - 8 MONTHS LATER
A teenager is standing in the middle of an empty, huge room. His legs are shaking, completely drenched from head to toe.
Instructor Lilac: "It's spelling out again. You can't maintain your trance state like this. You need to control that overflowing killing intent. And what's up with these shaking legs? Don't tell me you are giving up already."
Inside the training room opposite the teenager stood instructor Lilac, who was pushing the teenager to his limit.
No. 80: "That is brutal."
No. 17: "Yeah, his training makes ours look like a picnic."
No. 18: "But he always keeps up and surpasses our expectations and the instructors."
No. 25: "Oh, he's kissing the ground again."
Instructor Lilac: "Okay, that's enough for today; everyone form a line."
All the seeds lined up in front of instructor Lilac; meanwhile, Alan dragged his battered body as he joined the rest.
Instructor Lilac: "I'm not too good at this mushy stuff, so I'm going to keep it brief.
I have trained four batches of seeds before you, and I can honestly say that you are all a cut above all of them.
Well, mostly all of you, after all, you have number 80."
No. 80: "That's horrible, come on, instructor, you know I'm the best; I know you're just trying to keep me humble."
Instructor Lilac: "Yep, just keep that enthusiasm; you will definitely make it one day.
Now you all know that you have spent 2 years here undergoing all kinds of training, and you almost finished the program.
That means your graduation is coming soon.
So congratulations to all of you."
A proud smile on every seed's face as they finally let reality sink in, remembering all the struggles that they have been through, all the challenges and hard times where some of them even thought of quitting, yet they managed to pull through.
Instructor Lilac: "This is my last class for you all. I hope you make me proud out there; hell, maybe one day I'll be bragging to my colleagues that I trained all of you.
Now with the happiness of graduation and finally pulling through this intense and concentrated program, you all have a great decision that will affect you for the rest of your lives.
A guidance officer will be arriving at the base soon.
All of you will sit with him and discuss where you want to be and what position you want to serve in the organization."
No. 18: "Can you tell us more about it?"
Instructor Lilac: "Sadly, my girl, I can't. I already crossed the line by talking about it, as it is extremely classified and personal for all of you. But don't worry; you will have ample time to figure out things, and the guidance officer is a specialist who will be there to help you make the decision."
No. 17: "We will miss you a lot, instructor."
No. 80: "I'm not missing getting trashed, no thank you."
Everyone: "Hahahahahaha."
No. 9: "What about 33?"
The simple question was enough to intrigue everyone as the whole room fell into silence.
Instructor Lilac: "33 managed to catch up to all of you in every aspect and even excel, but he has only been here for 11 months, so we have decided that it is not enough time for him to graduate yet. But he will follow you after he completes another month of intensive training.
After all, this is the seed program. If words get out that someone managed to clear the whole program in less than a year, it would make a big splash in the community, and I and my colleagues, the other instructors, feel that we can still teach him more, so after 1 month he will follow your steps as a graduate."
No. 80: "Don't be sad, little brother. It is just one month. We will meet outside, and you can give me a few tips on how you pick up girls."
Alan: "I'm not sad; every single moment I spend with the instructors is a moment I can learn more."
No. 17: "We will be waiting for you on the outside."
No. 9: "78 vs. 61, I will even count on the outside."
No. 18: "What is number 9 talking about?"
No. 80: "In all the matches that they had while they were training together, Junior managed to win 78 times while number nine won 61 times."
Alan: "Don't worry seniors, I won't keep you waiting for long; I hope we meet on the outside."
...….
Inside the instructors lounge, instructor Mark was having a snack as he was reviewing the results of his last experiments.
The door opened, revealing instructor Lilac, who just came back from the training session with the seeds.
Instructor Mark: "You worked hard; I have these amazing sandwiches. Do you want some?"
Instructor Lilac: "Thanks, but I'm not in the mood to eat."
Instructor Mark: "It is always hard to say goodbye, I know."
Instructor Lilac: "Not just that, I barely managed to pull myself together and not talk about what will happen next. It is killing me that I can't give them any advice after all; they will be standing at a crossroads, and which road they choose will determine the rest of their lives or if they will live long enough to have a life."
Instructor Mark: "You are beating yourself so badly, but we can't impose our thoughts on them. That is exactly why the organization keeps the decision for the last moment. Right now they will all be surprised by the sudden vacation."
Instructor Lilac: "A drop of honey before the drop of poison."
Instructor Mark: "I will miss number nine and mostly number 33. It is really a shame that he did not want to join my department."
Instructor Lilac: "33 is not graduating."
Instructor Mark: "What!!! Why!!!"
Instructor Lilac: "I just received an order from the lieutenant to keep number 33 for another month, probably to round up his time to a year before he finished the program. My guess is just bureaucracy."
Instructor Mark: "To hell with bureaucracy. He managed to catch up with the rest of them who started more than a year earlier than him, and they are older than him, and he managed to excel and surpass everyone, including the genius number nine. He should be getting the first spot graduating with the others."
Instructor Lilac: "Orders are orders. Even I had to come up with the b******* reason that we, the instructors, have more to teach him. I mean, lately when I engaged in combat against him, I had to use the 9th stage equivalent of strength to suppress him. Now, that was embarrassing for me."
The door opened suddenly, and the top authority on the base entered.
Both instructors stood up as they saluted the lieutenant.
Lieutenant Rock: "At ease, thank you for your work, you too. This patch especially turned a cut above the rest. The higher-ups have high expectations for them."
Instructor Lilac: "That's an honor for us to make the future of the organization."
Instructor Mark: "Lieutenant, I have a question, and I hope that you give me a straight answer."
Lieutenant Rock: "Go ahead and ask; I can't promise."
Instructor Mark: "Why didn't you allow 33 to graduate? I mean, really, there is nothing to keep him for another month, which will not truly make a difference."
The expression on the lieutenant's face turned stiff as he gave the most politically correct answer.
Instructor Mark: "It would not look good for the program to be cleared within 11 months by a teenager. The higher ups won't have that."
Instructor Lilac: "Come on, lieutenant, I can't say that there is no bureaucracy in our organization, but we are not the types to care about that.
In fact, we celebrate such achievements and take pride in them, so please don't lie to us."
Lieutenant Rock: "Classified. That's all I can say."
Instructor Mark: "Is it that serious?"
The lieutenant kept his silence so the two of them backed off, as they knew this must be a very serious situation for the lieutenant to use a politically correct answer dodging their inquiries.
Instructor Lilac: "Well, one month will not kill him, and I, for one, am happy that he's here. I can't train him more during this month."
Instructor Mark: "I wish he would not go at all and just join my department."
Instructor Lilac: "Yeah, no way in hell I'm allowing that. He's a war god, not a researcher."
Instructor Mark: "Oh, he is the perfection that every researcher aspires to be."
Lieutenant Rock sighed in relief as he watched the two of them completely change the subject, giving him some face, but he knew things were not simple; after all, the order to halt 33 graduation came directly from his lordship.

Truthfully, he did not know if 33 would graduate.
Instructor Lilac: "By the way, Lieutenant, when will this specialist be coming?"
Lieutenant Rock: "He will be here tomorrow, I will gather the seeds so that they can get the counseling they need"
Instructor Mark: "I bet they will be very happy to know that they finally can have a vacation."
Instructor Lilac: "Yeah, a vacation that they will spend overthinking a single decision that may shape the rest of their life, truly a relaxing vacation it is."
