The Absolute beast Tamer-Chapter 53: THE CURE
Alan could only think of one thing looking at Alex.
"STRONG"
Name: [Alex Ford]
Stage: [???????]
Gerald: "Alex, calm yourself down now!!!"
Inside the office space, the atmosphere was so tense.
Alex was looking deeply at Alan following his father’s orders as he retracted the pressure.
Gerald: "I am sorry for my son’s behavior, but we were promised a cure many times that I stopped counting; only disappointment and a crushed hope remain, so I hope you all understand where we come from."
Alan: "There’s no need for an apology. I believe that you found many who promised you a cure only to gain benefits or for resources and financial gains, but let me tell you one thing: I also have my condition for the treatment."
Alex clenched his fist as he was barely controlling himself, thinking that the young man in front of them wanted to take advantage of them at the expense of his daughter’s health.
Gerald: "Ha, Can I know what your condition is for the treatment, and how confident are you in the cure?
Alan: "I’m 100% confident of a curing little Allison, as for my condition, I demand absolute confidentiality, you will never say who treated her and how she was treated, you will never mention anything about me going forward. That is my only condition."
Everyone was surprised, even the girls who looked at Alan completely baffled by his action.
As for the Ford’s, they could not believe their ears as they expected him to ask for a huge compensation or some rare resource, maybe a political favor, but the only thing he wanted was the secrecy.
Liza: "We will never ever harm a benefactor of us. Please, if you can heal her, then we will never speak of it as if it did not happen in the first place."
Gerald: "Calm down, Liza; take a deep breath.
As for you, Mr. Alan, Your condition is simple: none in this room on our side will ever mention a word of you and the cure ever again if that’s what you want."
Alan: "Then I’d hold you to your words, Mr. Ford."
Alan took out a small notebook where he wrote a few ingredients needed for the cure. Ripping out the small page from the notebook, he handed it to Gerald.
Alan: "On this paper are five ingredients that we have to get to make the cure; also, it just so happens that you are a high-class alchemist, so you will be making the cure with a little help from me."
The family of three immediately looked at the ingredients written in the paper; Alex and his wife did not know or recognize any of them, but the high class of alchemist Gerald was a seasoned man who knew how to handle treasures and ingredients, so he immediately recognized them.
Alan: "If you needed any help, President Carla can help you look for the ingredients so we can make the cure as soon as possible."
Gerald: "Thanks, but they are not hard for me to collect; just give me until the evening."
Alan: "Good, then we will meet in the Blue River Chamber of Commerce building this evening."
Alan and the girls left the family of three as they got out of the room. Leaving Gerald’s and his family, who were making calls to collect the ingredients as fast as possible.
...
Carla: "Alan, do you truly know how to cure the poor little girl?"
Both Laura and Lana looked at Alan curiously as they wanted to know the answer.
Alan: "Have I ever lied to you before, big sis? And I would never lie about the life of a child; this evening we will see if my cure can work on the little girl or not."
Lana: "They are from the Ford Noble clan. The man we talked to, Gerald, is a high-class alchemist who was sought after by many and has a high standing inside his clan. Even my parents have to deal with him carefully with the utmost respect.
Lana spoke as she was worried about Alan.
Alan: "Do not worry, I would never do something that I’m not confident in"
Laura: "I have full confidence in Alan. If he said he can do it, he will do it."
Alan: " Ho ho, Now this is a surprise. It seemed that only big sis Laura had full trust in me."
Both Carla and Lana became flustered.
Cara and Lana: "NO, we were just worried about you."
As he gave them his back, looking extremely serious as if he was hurt, both of them became nervous, but in a moment Alan burst out laughing.
Alan: "Hahahahahaha, I know, thank you for worrying about me, but you guys are so cute I can’t help it but tease you."
Both of them had flushed faces as they pinched Alan’s waist in frustration.
Alan: "Ouch."
...…
In the evening everyone who had gathered in Carla’s office was waiting for the Fords to come.
Carla received the call on her terminal informing her that the Fords were at the front lobby. She gave instructions to guide them to the only alchemy room in the building.
Carla: "They are here; let’s go and meet them."
They met each other in front of the alchemy room.
Gerald: "We have collected all the ingredients, Mr. Ortex."
Alan, who saw the faces of the three adults that were extremely tense, could not help but look at the little girl who was now sleeping peacefully.
Alan: "Good, you and I, Mr. Gerald, will make the cure. The rest will wait in the waiting room downstairs. Is that okay with everyone?"
No one voiced his objection as they left after they watched Alan and Gerald enter the alchemy room.
Alan: "For this to work, I need you to follow my instructions to the letter. I hope you can forgive this junior, but this is a vital step to make the cure."
Gerald: "There is no problem in that at all; you will be the teacher, and I will be the student, so let’s begin, please."
Alan started going through the steps provided by the eye of Ra, following the instructions to the letter.
4 hours went by in a flash. It was 30 minutes before midnight.
Alan: "Good, this is the last step; after we finish it, the cure will be complete."
Both Alan and Gerald were tense, as this was the most vital stage where every ingredient needed to reach the harmony point to form the cure.
Watching Gerald, who was performing the last step intensely, both of them actually held their breaths until the room started shining and a huge amount of Ena covered the alchemy room.
Marking the sign of success, Alan sighed in relief.
Gerald, who went through the process step by step, was even more exhausted than Alan and also was very shocked at the level of detail this young man provided; such a level was beyond even his capabilities.
Gerald: "It’s done."
Alan: "Let’s go and administer the cure immediately."
Gerald nodded his head as both of them took the small vial that contained the cure and went to the waiting room downstairs.
...
Liza and Alex kept looking at the time as they waited for their father to come back, hopefully with a cure.
Every second went by feeling like a century for them. Even the girls stayed with them, waiting and hoping for a miracle.
When Alan and Gerald entered the waiting area, everyone stood up and held their breath.
Liza: "Was it a success? Did you make it, father-in-law?"
Gerald: "It was successful, in fact much better than anything I made ever, but now we need to administer it and watch the result to see if it was truly working."
Alan silently Entered the room following Gerald as he greeted the girls and stood back watching.
Gerald took his granddaughter in his embrace. Although she had woken up, she was still looking lifeless as she opened half of her eyes, staying completely limp.
He opened the vial and slowly had Allison drink it.
Then everyone stood waiting for it to take effect.

5 minutes passed, then 10, then 20, then 30, with nothing happening. Alex’s patience has reached the limit.
Alex: "Do you know what I hate the most in my life? It is liars like you. I told you they did not have a good ending, the people who try to take advantage of us."
A terrifying killing intent spelled out from him as if he were a prehistoric beast looking deeply at Alan.
The girls who were watching broke out in cold sweat as they could not even move a limb due to the terrifying killing intent.
Alan simply stood there and he looked at Alex in the eyes appearing completely unaffected which surprised both Alex and Gerald.
Gerald was about to stop his son when he noticed that little Allison started moving and looked to be in pain.
Gerald: "Wait, Alex, something is happening to Allison."
When Alex looked at Allison, all his terrifying killing intent disappeared as he saw his daughter squirming in pain, but what surprised them both was that it wasn’t the usual excruciating pain but more like she was having a bad dream.
As they watched, something was starting to come out from her little mouth; a small, transparent bug-like thing came out from her mouth. Gerald immediately isolated it and sealed it.
Little Allison’s face, which was pale as a white sheet of paper, now had some rosy color returning to it.
As she looked around, opening her eyes fully.
Allison: "Mom, Dad, Grandpa."
Liza: "Ahhhh, my baby girl Allison."
Liza could not hold her emotions anymore as she took her daughter from her grandpa and hugged her while crying.
Alex and Gerald used different methods as they examined the little girl’s body; both of them were shocked as they could feel the vitality returning with every second that went by. Even the severe damage that she suffered to her body was being repaired.
Alex, with tears in his eyes, looked towards Alan as he slammed his head on the ground.
Alex: "I am truly sorry; you were trying to help us, and I treated you like this. I treated my own benefactor like this!!!"
Tears were flooding as he cried. Such a strong man and a fierce warrior were actually crying.
That can only show you how important a child is to his own parents.
Alan went down on his knees as he held Alex and helped him get up.
Alan: "I’m just glad that a cute little child like her won’t be tormented anymore, but I still have something important to talk to you three about."
