The Absolute beast Tamer-Chapter 55: SILK PANTS
Alan: "President, I have already contacted the esteemed beastmaster. His response was a little bit harsh, as he said, and I quote, There will be no backdoor dealing, and if the Blue River Chamber of Commerce wants to make any noise, there is no need to use their name anymore. I have already contacted the mayor’s estate; we can proceed with the auction, so the choice is yours: either you follow my instruction or you are out."
Carla: "You have listened to what he said, Zamir.
It is already out of my hand, and I would not let our hard work go down the drain just to please some kid from a noble family."
Zamir’s face was black. The anger in his stomach was bubbling like a volcano as he looked at Carla, wishing he could rip her apart for being so arrogant. A mere president of a branch in a little-unknowntown actually dared to blow him off.
He smiles strangely as he said.
Zamir: "Well, as you said, it’s out of our hands. The fourth young master of the Lorazine family is downstairs waiting for his treasure. I leave it for you to tell him that he can’t get his treasure."
Storming out of the office with a clenched fist, he threw such a problem that originated from HQ on the head of Carla, which was his form of petty revenge.
Carla: "Ahhh, thanks, little brother. The bastard left us now to deal with a headache. From what I know about that fourth young master of the Lorazine family, in simple terms, he’s an entitled brat. Ahhhhh."
Alan: "Don’t worry, I’ll go with you. Let’s go and deal with this entitled brat."
....
Walking after Carla as both of them entered one of the meeting rooms on the 4th floor, they found a young man who was sitting as if he owned the place behind him and an elderly man with a sharp aura standing like a sword.
Carla: "It’s nice to meet you. My name is Carla Fairfax, and I am the acting president of this branch. We have received your request to obtain one of the 9th class treasures before the auction, scraping them off the list. I am sorry to inform you that we could not do that as per the request of the esteemed beastmaster who provided all the treasures for the auction; he denied your request. I hope you have a nice time participating in the auction."
Liam: "What the hell are you talking about? I already talked to your representative from the capital, Mr. Zamir, and he assured me that I will get my treasure. And now you are telling me that I can’t. Do you take the Lorazine family as a joke?"
Carla: "I cannot speak for the representative of the HQ, as he also cannot speak for us here in our branch. I have already performed the utmost courtesy by asking the esteemed beastmaster if he could do it, and he denied your request. And please do not try to throw the weight of your family around; some may be afraid of the Lorazine family, but neither I nor the esteemed beastmaster are, so keep your threats to yourself."
Liam: "So he is not giving me any face. The fourth young master of the Lorazine family, And you, Fairfax I heard about your grandfather making waves recently. It seems that you think you are much bigger than us now. Do you know what kind of effect this failed transaction will have on your Blue River Chamber of Commerce?"
Carla: "I don’t think it will bring that much of an effect; we had a very long history of dealing with your family, and one silk pants can’t affect that history at all."
Liam: "The f*** did you say, b****? I will f****** get that treasure whether you like it or not."
As if calling him a silk pants was a trigger, he pulled out the long sword on his back, releasing his aura as he wanted to attack Carla.
The old man was observing both Alan and Carla, but his attention was focused on Alan as he felt a dangerous feeling coming from this young boy in front of him.
The moment Liam pulled his long sword, Alan, with his hand behind his back holding a dagger, stood in front of Carla, repelling the incoming attack with ease.
Liam, who had fallen back to his seat as he did not register what happened, looked up to meet Alan’s eyes as he felt the pure killing intent spilling from them like the water in a flooding river.
Alan: "I was the one who got the esteemed beastmaster response. He gave me two steps and two choices: first to refuse you gently and apologize for our inability to give you the treasure, and the second is to tell you if you have insisted and did something unreasonable to f*** off, he will be paying a visit to your noble clan to get an explanation about why their young master is putting his nose where it does not belong."
Liam was about to explode again, but his body did not listen to him as he had been sheltered most of his life. He had never come in contact with true blood, so he was afraid of the bloodlust radiating from Alan, but the words silk pants proved to be a trigger, as he wanted to get up again and attack, only for a hand to prevent him from doing so.
Behind Liam, the old man simply put his hand on Liam’s shoulder as he prevented him from getting up and looked at Alan.
Gan: "I apologize for my young master’s conduct. It was indeed unreasonable. I hope that you will not let this incident affect the long relationship between the Blue River Chamber of Commerce and the Lorazine family. Young Master, we need to go; the auction will start soon, so we need to get to our VIP booth."
Liam wanted to protest, but when he looked at the old man’s expressions, he could not have the courage to voice one word.
As both of them were getting out of the room, the old man walked by Alan, "at such a young age yet with such a terrifying bloodlust. That dagger is very dangerous, young master, so I hope you put it down."

Alan smiled back at the old man, and the dagger in his hand vanished.
Watching both of them leave, Carla sighed in relief.
Carla: "Thank God they retreated. That stupid young master is really a handful. I was afraid that it would blow up out of proportion and become a big thing."
Alan: "I don’t think so. Even though this silk pants aren’t reasonable, the old man who appeared to be his bodyguard but actually was more like a nanny, keeping that fool in check, so nothing would have happened anyway."
Carla: "You’re right. I only understood when I saw the old man intervening and preventing his young master from attacking us again. Such an act cannot be performed by a bodyguard, only by an observer and a caretaker. I guess that noble family knows how foolish their son is to minimize any damage and problems that may come because of him; they put the old man as his watcher."
Alan: "Let’s go to the venue; let’s see if Laura needs any help."
Carla: "Then let’s go, little brother. By the way, you looked very handsome when you defended me earlier."
As she mentioned this, she immediately started running out of the office, with her cheeks fully flushed.
Allan, who watched this, smiled as he followed her.
.....
Backstage in the venue, Laura and Carla became busy coordinating everything; Alan saw that there was nothing he could truly help with, more like he was in the way, so he went to the private chamber that belonged to the hunts.
His mother and sister both are coming with Rosaline and the rest of the hunts.
When he entered, he saw everyone was having tea inside the chamber while eating snacks.
Alan: "Everyone is here; I guess I am the one who’s late."
Lana: "You are not late at all, Alan; we just got here. Come have a seat."
Mason: "I always like this festive atmosphere about any auction. I still can’t believe that you provided all the treasures for this auction and that you got them all in a 3-day visit to a black market."
Alan: "That’s what happened, but believe me, I paid the price."
Mason: "How much did you pay for all the treasures?"
Alan: "You have to know that many treasures are unconfirmed or unappraised with unknown properties, especially in the black markets, so I took the chance, and I had around 30 million federation dollars left in my bank account, so I spent them all in the black market, and I was lucky to secure so many treasures."
Lana: "So many treasures for only 30 million dollars!!!"
Mason: "Kid, we are like family, right? , so you have to take me on your next trip."
His face was green with envy as he looked at this young man who was barely 17 years old; spending $30 million to get wealth that cannot be counted in federation dollars was absurd.
Ariana: "I think it is starting."
Rosaline: "Yes, they are about to begin."
Pulling everyone’s attention to the huge stage in the middle of the venue as they watched a beauty making her way with confidence radiating from her face.
What surprised Alan was that the beauty was actually Laura, who looked sensational on the stage.
