The Absolute beast Tamer-Chapter 67: FRIENDLY EXCHANGE
Waking up early in the morning after freshening up, Alan found a training suit in the locker and put it on. He felt creeped out by how comfortable and fitting it was, but then again, it was not ordinary clothing; he clearly felt that it was enchanted.
There was a sudden knock on the door.
Alan: "Come in."
The door automatically opened, and a staff member was waiting on the outside.
Staff: "Good morning, seed number 189112233. I see that you have put your suit on already. That’s good; I will be responsible for guiding you to the place where the other seeds gather for training.
But before that, this is your new terminal; all of your previous information has been installed inside."
Handing over the black watch-like terminal to Alan, who was worried about how he could get in contact with his mother.
He immediately started typing as he wanted to send a message before joining the training.
Staff: "If you are trying to send a message, then don’t bother. All kinds of communication are cut off from the outside world in this place; there’s only one time a month when you are given an opportunity to send messages, and it’s through the main terminal of the base, not your private one. After all, this is a black site."
Alan felt silly as he had totally forgotten where he was.
Alan: "Then after you."
Following the staff through the many corridors that looked exactly the same with metal walls and artificial lights, as if he was walking through some huge vault-like maze.
When they reached one of the rooms, the staff member went to the side as he signaled Alan to enter.
Before Alan could use the master electric key that he was given yesterday to be his own identification inside this base, he felt a weird sensation all around him.
As he opened the door and entered the room, which was originally dark, it lightened up.
He was surprised when he did not find anyone inside; just as he was about to turn back, he felt a killing intent coming from behind.
A fist came crashing like a meteor aiming at his head, but that did not shake him one bit.
As if he was a ghost, he evaded the incoming fist as he perceived the Ena in the air. He asked calmly.
Alan: "Why are you attacking me, Mr. Guide?"
Guide: "To think that you would be able to evade this attack, I guess the rumors are not just rumors."
Alan: "You did not answer my question."
Guide: "Tell me the route from your room until here; describe the exact distance; be detailed in your explanation."
Feeling as if he was being tested, he chose to go along with it.
Alan: "We went through five corridors until we reached this room. The sequence for the directions is right, right, left, right, left. The first corridor was about 30 steps, the second 27, the 3rd 43, the 4th 28, and the last one is 16. Adding them all together can give us the approximate distance, which is 128 m from my room until our current location."
The guide’s eyes widened in surprise as he truthfully did not expect this young kid to actually pull through this small test; why would he even consider counting his own steps?
The guide: "What went through your mind to make you even count your own steps? I can understand trying to memorize the route, but to calculate the exact distance, could you tell me why?"
Alan: "I am in a strange new place, in an unfamiliar environment; one cannot put his guard down at all times. I slept yesterday like a baby, but not before holding both of my weapons firmly in my hands."
The guide: "I guess you passed the first test: always stay vigilant, don’t ever stop thinking,
My name is Alec, and I am one of your instructors. My specialty is espionage and infiltration. Let’s go and join the rest.
Instructor Alec turned around and exited the room; following him was Alan, who did not know that in the instructor’s joint space a few of them were gathered as they watched the whole interaction happen.
Alina: "What do you all think?"
The rest of them stayed silent until one of them answered her.
"He is definitely something, to think that his vigilance is this high already as if he was expecting to be attacked at any moment."
Another added
"I just hope he doesn’t break halfway through the training."
Alina: "He is an excellent mold, and it’s up to us to make him or break him."
.....
As he was following instructor Alec, who went into a huge room that was practically empty, the walls had cushioning fabric on them, completely covering the room, even the floor.
When Alan scanned the room, he was surprised to find only seven people inside.
Instructor Alec: "Attention!"

As if it was a move that they practiced thousands of times, they gathered and formed a line in a heartbeat.
Instructor Alec: "We have a newcomer; this is seed number 189112233. It is long, so we all will call him 33. He is younger than you all, so you should take care of him. Now number 33, go line up in the back.
Alan, who was impressed feeling the military style and the strict follow-the-command atmosphere, had a new understanding of how things move along here.
As he went to the back of a line, he scanned the seven individuals; there were three women and four men.
Lieutenant Alec: "As the newcomer 33, first time here, you have a lot to catch up on; just make sure you don’t fall behind for now."
Before he could continue speaking.
A tall and lean, muscular young man who looks to be in his mid-20s raised his hand, asking for permission to speak.
Lieutenant Alec: "Speak, what do you want, number 80?"
Number 80: "Sir, the best way to acclimate to the new environment is to get a face-to-face feeling for it. I would like to volunteer to spar with number 33, as it will be helpful for him in his process during the integration in the training program."
As number 80 spoke, a strong aura was bubbling all over around him.
Narrowing his eyes, Lieutenant Alec did not give an immediate answer, as he stayed silent before asking Alan.
Lieutenant Alec: "What do you say, number 33? Your senior is very kind and wants you to feel at home as fast as possible."
All the eyes pointed at him as if they were waiting for His decision; everyone inside was measuring him from the moment he entered.
Alan: "I would like to thank my senior for the opportunity. How can I possibly pass on my senior’s kindness? I accept."
Instructor Alec: "Everyone other than the two of them clear the center of the room. As for you both, this is an integration match, so the usage of beasts is forbidden. Other than that, you have to avoid delivering fatal injuries to each other. I will be watching to interfere and stop you when I deem the fight has exceeded the limit of a friendly match.
Are you both ready?
Number 80: "always"
Alan: "I’m ready."
Instructor Alec: "Fight!!"
Has he waved his hand down, giving them the signal to begin?
Number 80’s aura exploded as he took a deep breath before exhaling a scalding hot stream of fire aimed directly at Alan.
Boom
A loud explosion happened at the center where Alan was standing.
Number 80 did not lower his guard at all even after the explosion happened.
But surprise dominated his expressions as he turned back like a hawk.
Watching Alan standing a few meters behind him.
Number 80: "Interesting, a speed type."
Alan, who heard number 80, immediately understood that he was collecting information about him.
There was no arrogance in the tone of his voice, which shows you how the true elite behave during such a fight even when he was fighting a teenager.
Two daggers appeared in Alan’s hands as he launched himself running faster than a bullet to attack number 80.
But what happened next was out of Alan’s expectations, as number 80 simply took a breath again, but this time he aimed at the ground.
Releasing the fire while circling around himself completely, cutting the path in front of Alan in all directions.
From the firewall that surrounded No. 80, balls of fire came raining down on Alan, who was evading the incoming attack with difficulty.
As the fireballs kept coming, Alan noticed that he had been guided and cornered at the corner of the room.
Not giving him enough space to evade.
Number 80: "Demon breath art, fire burial"
The moment he said these words, a huge sphere of fire appeared right above him; with a simple hand gesture, he sent a huge sphere crashing towards Alan, who was cornered at the end of the room.
Alan: "Meticulous calculation, extremely refined way of fighting, I guess I am in the right place."
Alan said as he watched the huge sphere coming right at him.
A huge explosion shook the whole room.
Number 80: "What!!"
No. 80 was speechless. As he felt Alan’s presence on the other end of the room.
