The Absolute beast Tamer-Chapter 74: INSTRUCTOR LIZAAC
Alan: "Is there a pro...?"
"Who do we have here, number 80 and a new face?"
From within the center of the room, a tall and lean male with long black hair and a gentle air around him interrupted Alan as he walked towards them.
No80: "Se… se… seed No80 great instructor Lizaac."
Alan: "I am seed No. 33, greeting instructor Lizaac."
Instructor Lizaac: "Ohh, you are seed number 33. I have heard a great deal about you, so young yet so talented and full of potential. I have many things to teach you."
Alan: "It is my privilege, instructor, to be taught by you."
Number 80 had a pale face as he did not speak a single word after greeting that instructor.
Suddenly the door opened again. The rest of the seeds entered the room, but almost all of them had the same reaction when they saw instructor Lizaac.
Lizaac: "Form a line."
As they lined up, Alan observed the different expressions on all the other seeds’ faces. The only thing in common between them all is the absolute fear that was clearly reflected in their eyes.
Lizaac: "I hope that you have missed me; after all, our last class was 2 weeks ago. For today I will let our new star and upcoming seed pick.
Alan: "Excuse me, instructor, pick what?"
Lizaac: "Just a simple answer for a question: between the physical or the mental side, which one do you think you are more confident at?"
Alan: "If I understood correctly, you’re asking about my physical attribute or the mental attribute as to which one between the two I am more confident about, right?"
Lizaac: "Exactly, so what is your answer?"
Alan: "I can do fairly well in both, but I don’t think I have an advantage on one side over the other."
Lizaac: "Humor me then, which side will you pick?"
All the other seats were shaking; no one could even breathe as if they were waiting for the final judgment on their life.
Alan: "Let’s go with the mental then."
The moment Alan answered, none of the other seeds had a good look on their faces. Even the stoic number 9 looked as if she was about to go through the door of hell.
Lizaac: "Excellent. Then today we will take the mental aspect. Follow me now."
Instructor Lizaac started walking with everyone following him. The silence was slightly suffocating, so Alan could not help but ask.
Alan: "What is going on with you, senior number 80?"
No. 80: "You..."
The moment number 80 wanted to talk, suddenly he and Alan felt an intimidating look as if a prehistoric beast was eyeing them.
Lizaac: "No small talk during my class number 80."
In just a moment that look was enough to shut number 80 completely down, as he fell silent with cold sweat all over his forehead.
Alan felt the hair on his body, standing up when the instructor gave them the look. He knew that there was something wrong with the situation.
He decided to wait and see; after all, the instructor did not want him to know. That much was clear to him.
They reach the huge door where the instructor Lizaac enters a few codes to open it.
As they entered the rooms, Alan was surprised to find multiple chamber pods similar to the one he entered when he first came here, but slightly smaller, as if they were a downgraded version of it.
Lizaac: "All right everyone, take off your combat clothes and get comfortable, then enter the pods; we will start today’s lesson."
Alan: "Instructor, may I ask?"
Lizaac: "Sure, number 33, go ahead."
Alan: "You did not explain what the class is about, why we are here, and why we are entering these pods."
Lizaac: "You are entering the pods to verify and test your mentality. I already gave you the choice earlier; now don’t waste any time and get in."
Taking a look around him, everyone was moving so slowly as if they did not want to enter the pods in the first place.
The pod looked straight out of a science fiction novel. It had the space to lie down with the glass door that showed so many parameters.
As Alan lay down, suddenly a program started operating, and the first thing that happened was the confinement of his extremities, as both his hands and legs were confined.
An oxygen mask was placed on his face while the chamber pod started filling with purplish liquid slightly heavier than water.

A few minutes later If someone were to observe the chamber pods, he would see humans suspended in a strange fluid as if they were subjects in some unspeakable experiment.
Suddenly a voice vibrated inside all the seeds, communicating directly with their brains.
Lizaac: "Today I will test your mental aspect. How far you have progressed, and I will check at our new seed; you have him to thank for the choice."
Everyone from behind the glass doors looked at this gentle-looking man as if they were looking at a maniac serial killer.
Suddenly, as if they were shocked with electricity, everyone froze and then relaxed immediately after.
...
Alan woke up suddenly as he found himself in a completely different place.
He was standing in the middle of the street, around him old houses lined up with people walking in the street.
The place was familiar and unfamiliar at the same time.
He remembered this street but could not remember the name exactly.
At this moment, a strange feeling as if he was lost filled his chest, as if he was suffocating underwater.
"He is here!!! I found him.
Someone pointed at him, screaming at the top of his lungs.
As Alan watched, The Man who pointed at him, only to find more and more people coming from every corner of the street.
He did not know why, but every single fiber of his being was telling him to run.
So he did.
"He is trying to run. Don’t let the rat slip from our hands again."
Alan wanted to immediately activate the Void God, but he was surprised that he couldn’t.
Then he remembered he could actually see now; his sight had returned, and as if waking up, he knew that he was in an illusion.
Still looking at the many men trying to catch him, his only choice was running.
As he ran from one block to another.
Alan saw a dumpster and, from behind it, a hidden alley.
So he made the choice to enter, but
The moment he turned right behind the dumpster He was surprised when a huge hand slammed him to the ground.
Alan: "Cough…cough."
"Got you!!! You damn rat."
It has been a while, many months to be exact, since he felt this weak, as his body was so fragile.
He tried to get up, only to be greeted with a kick in the gut that interrupted his breathing; he tried very hard to take a breath but couldn’t.
He knew this feeling, the feeling of helplessness as if he was an ant waiting to be squashed by some random passenger on the street.
His heart was beating, and he was breathing. He was clearly alive, yet he felt so small and insignificant as if he did not appear in the field of vision of everyone else.
"Take him to the warehouse. The boss wants to see him.
Two more men helped him up but not before delivering a few punches to his beautiful face that was bruised and looked pale.
A car from his old world stopped on the street.
The men did not waste any time as they tied both of his hands and legs and threw him in the car trunk.
With everything dark around him, only the sound of the old car and the laughter of the men who kidnapped him remained.
Alan: "Why … why am I … here?"
He felt as if he was in a nightmare; whenever he tried to remember, there was a fog preventing him from doing so. The fog was thick, clouding his brain.
A 20-minute drive with every second passing like a decade for him.
The car stopped at a place that had no noise at all.
One of the men opened the trunk, looking at him as if he were just a piece of meat, not another human being.
"Come with me, rat. The boss has been waiting for you."
He pulled Alan from the trunk like a sack of potatoes and then threw him on the ground.
Alan: "What do you want from me? Why am I here?"
The man gave Alan a look of disgust.
"Since when did you have the guts to ask me questions?"
Delivering a kick to Alan’s head.
For a second everything turned white for Alan, as he almost lost his consciousness.
"Leave the beating for the boss; you do not want to deliver him passed out now, do you?"
"You’re right, just this stinking rat really knows how to infuriate me. Help me get him inside the warehouse; we must not let the boss wait any longer."
Holding Alan’s hands, they dragged him into the dilapidated old warehouse.
