No. 80: "More like a little sister...ohhhhh."

Instructor Lilac disappeared from everyone’s view as she appeared right in front of number 80, delivering a solid punch to the stomach.

Alan: "The trance, you say?"

Instructor Lilac: "We call it trance; it’s a state of full concentration that is the ultimate dream of every warrior. Sadly, it is an innate talent only a selected few have.

In simple terms, you are born to fight."

No. 9: "A full concentration state is that the body and the soul perfectly align and sync together. A normal human being, even after training for many decades or even hundreds of years, can’t exhibit 60% of such a state, but those who have it have a synchronization at 100% from the start, which makes comprehending arts and engaging in combat as easy as drinking water."

No. 18: "You move your body in a way that we could never fathom. From the perspective of a normal person, what you were doing in the fight with the instructor is absurd!"

No. 80: "Ohhhhh, My stomach hurt like hell. Don’t forget that this is an illusionary state that comes and goes. Even if someone experiences it, that doesn’t guarantee they will be able to control it and exhibit it at will; only a selected few can do such a thing, and for you, number 33, to experience it multiple times is madness."

Instructor Lilac had her wide, cute eyes locked on Alan as if she had found the treasure she had been looking for all her life.

Instructor Lilac: "Number 80 The next time you speak, I will give you a ticket to spend one week vacation in the infirmary. Do I make myself clear?"

Number 80’s face went pale as he immediately put his hand on his mouth, declaring his silence.

Instructor Lilac: "Okay then, we will continue the class, No. 33. I will devise a new plan of training especially for you; I hope you can follow."

Alan: "I will do my best, instructor; thank you."

...…

By the end of the day inside the training room all the seeds were laying on the ground with many injuries all over their bodies.

Instructor Lilac: "You guys are so fragile. Do you not eat at all? How can you grow up to become like me if you are unable to move after a light exercise?"

Alan’s lips twitched as he finally understood how terrifying instructor Lilac was.

Number 80’s assessment was right; they have spent 10 hours engaged in consistent combat. All of them were injured and did not have an ounce of strength to move around anymore.

Meanwhile instructor lilac did not have a single drop of sweat on her face, Even her breathing was constant which freaked Alan.

Instructor Lilac: "Okay then, this is all for today. I will meet you all soon, and I hope that you will improve more."

After saying this, she immediately excused herself and went out of the training room, leaving 8 bodies scattered all over the floor.

No. 80: "I told you she was a monster, huh huh, although a cute one."

No. 18: "Sometimes I do not know if I should admire you for your bravery or consistent stupidity."

Alan: "She’s terrifying, but training with her will make me stronger. I’m thankful for that."

Number nine stood up with her legs shaking as she walked slowly out of the training room.

No80: "let’s go to the infirmary, especially you number 33 you’re coming with me"

Everyone slowly stood up as they left the training room and went to the infirmary.

.....

Dr. Hans: "With my scalp, I will heal you.

Drawing the blood so I can feel you,

Pain, go away, go away, no more in you.

I am the doctor. The healer who will help you,"

When the door opened suddenly, everyone was standing completely baffled by the creepiest singing voice they had ever heard with the creepiest lyrics that could ever be found.

Dr. Hans: "Everyone is here all at once; I have embarrassed myself, but at least I can have an audience now, so what do you think, guys? This is something original."

No80: "puff hmmmmm, I think you should put your piece out there, such a talent cannot be buried in a black site"

Dr. Hans: "I knew it. I was just shy. Even from my days in the university, I have always had the musical sense and talent, but my personality as an introvert prevented me from pursuing this passion. Thank you, number 80."

No. 18: "He is screwing with you. Your voice can only find a place in a horror movie that talks about a mad doctor. Sorry to end your dreams, Dr. Hans."

Dr. Hans’ expressions darkened as he gave number 80 a questioning gaze.

No80: "Hahahahahahahahaha, I can’t take it anymore, Dr. Hans, you are a genius in medicine; just stick to it."

Alan could not help but smile watching this ridiculous exchange.

He chose to wait until everyone finished, as he was the youngest.

No. 80: "By the way, Dr. Hans, I have something to tell you."

Dr. Hans: "Go away; I don’t want to talk to you."

No. 80: "It is important. Did you not notice that number 33 did not receive the mental care yesterday with us? It was my fault, as he is new and did not know about it, so he missed the treatment yesterday."

Dr. Han: "What are you, insane number 33? How can you let him number 80? You know that the most important treatment that I administer is the mental treatment, and he missed his first!!"

The playful expressions on Dr. Hans’s face all vanished as a serious and tense look on his face reflected how vital the treatment for the mental aspect was.

Alan: "it’s not his fault it’s just that I’m a new here and I’m still exploring my way around so Dr Hans can I take it today"

Dr. Hans: "Of course you will have to take it today; even if I have to bind you with a rope and force you to take it, you will have to. Although the physical damage is also painful. The mental one is the doorway that can hurt your soul and, in effect, destroy your talent as a beast tamer."

Watching the usually happy-go-lucky Dr. Hans suddenly become so stern, Alan immediately understood how vital the treatment was.

Dr. Han: "Other than your injured shoulder, you do not have any serious injuries, so I will administer the mental care immediately. Follow me to the pods."

As he went inside the pod, lying down, he was somewhat averse to being inside one of them, as he remembered his last experience.

He forced himself to calm down as he watched the fluid fill the pod.

One moment he was watching Dr. Hans working on him, and another he found himself in a white space.

There was a sudden weird rush that he felt in his most inner being.

He felt euphoric and extremely relaxed as he floated in the white space.

He did not know how long had passed, as the concept of time inside this illusionary space was vague and elusive.

Maybe only a few minutes had passed or a few months. He did not care as he kept savoring the most comfortable feeling he had ever had.

...…

Dr. Hans: "Number 33, number 33, yo, from base to number 33. Wake up."

Alan felt a hand slapping him a few times gently on the face. As he opened his eyes, he saw Dr. Hands standing right above him.

Alan: "Dr. Hans!!!"

Dr. Hans: "Yes, sleeping beauty."

Alan took a look around him, but there was no one other than him inside the infirmary.

Alan: "How long have I been asleep?"

Dr. Hans: "A few hours; you slept like a baby. Everyone else had already returned to their rooms."

Alan: "I was in an illusion, and… and I feel the most comfortable ever, probably in my life."

Dr. Hans: "It’s good that you are feeling well, but of course you would, after all the crystal-clear fluid was perfectly absorbed by your body, alongside purified and infused water. A special potion that works on the soul was administered in your pod."

Alan: "Such a potion must be valuable; I feel like a baby being bathed with warm water under the sun."

Dr. Han: "Of course it is; after all, it can’t be valued in federation dollars; a single potion probably has the value of a sixth-class natural treasure."

Alan: "And after every AIT class, you give us one."

Dr. Han: "The organization will take care of their own, and this lavish spending is nothing to us. The most important thing is the complete safety of the seed. Even with all our efforts, some may die."

Alan looked at Dr. Hans, who suddenly became nostalgic as if he remembered something or someone.

Alan: "Is the fatality rate in the training this high?"

Dr. Han snapped out of his thoughts.

Dr Hans: "for the first time I feel that I talked so much, just forget what I said Now you have to go and rest, you have kept me working overtime for 3 hours already, I need to get back to writing my lyrics"

Alan felt that Dr. Hans would not say anything anymore; a weird smile found itself on Alan’s face when he heard the doctor was still working on his music.

Alan: "I hope you will write a better one next time; thank you, Dr. Han."

Alan left the infirmary, but before even the door closed, he heard Dr. Han singing.
