Meanwhile, Alpha Mitch was in a discussion with one of his men at the pack’s border. When his phone rang, he took out the device and thought of ignoring the call but he changed his mind.

Walking a short distance away, he spoke into the phone.

"What is it?"

On the other end, Gale hesitated after he heard the Alpha’s voice. He was sure he had a lot on his plate and he didn’t want to add to it but this could get him killed if he hid it.

"You didn’t call me to breathe into the phone right?" Alpha Mitch asked in frustration and Gale snapped out of his thoughts and spoke.

"I can’t find him... again" He said in a small voice.

He closed his eyes waiting for the Alpha’s outburst, but he was also tired after running around looking for him.

The last few weeks, the Alpha and his Omega have been on the opposite ends of the stick and the Alpha refused to get rid of the Omega even after all these problems.

And now he is gone again.

He had spent the last few hours searching for him after he did not return.

He found out that most of the students were attending a party and he decided to check the place for him but he was a little bit late as he was told Alpha King Raul was there.

He knew without doubt that the Alpha King had the Omega but how to break that news to his Alpha was the problem.

"What do you mean by that?!" Alpha Mitch snapped and Gale groaned inwardly.

"I checked everywhere and I...I l-learnt that Alpha King Raul took him". Gale finally let out the words with some difficulties.

There was a short silence on the other end and he knew he had messed up again.

"Fuck!" Alpha Mitch cussed and dropped the call.

Gale checked the time and realized it would be early morning the following morning before he could make it to Alpha King Raul’s place. He called the Alpha’s number again and it went straight to voicemail.

But Alpha Mitch had dropped the device in the back seat before he started his car.

His eyes bright with suppressed anger, one of the reasons he has been working endlessly these days has been Alpha Raul. He knew rumours had been spreading about his weakness and incapability to run the pack which was undoubtedly false. While he hasn’t found a solution or the reason for his fainting sections.

He ignored the rumors and decided to use it to his own benefit. He knew Alpha Raul had been planning too, their clash is around the corner.

One of them would definitely strike first and he had been waiting while planning. Which was why he had kept the Omega at arms length even when he was told not to do so.

But tonight, Alpha Raul had crossed a line.

He drove for hours without any sign of tiredness or anger letting down, he had left all his men behind and gone alone.

It’s risky but he did not want to waste any time.

The sky was clearing up when the pack house came into view.

The pack’s name, Dark Alley pack, was still not visible to the eyes at where it’s engraved on the pack house.

The guards outside, surrounded his car immediately he parked.

Alpha Mitch took a second to calm himself, the distance and time hadn’t done much to his anger but he was in more control of himself now than when Gale called him.

Seeing the Alpha King come out of the car, some of the guards raised and pointed their guns at him.

Others stood close to the house entrance, they knew he did not come to play or dance with them.

The crease between his brows was clear evidence of his mood.

Alpha Mitch walked into their midst without batting an eye.

None of them dared to stop him, he was just a step away from the entrance when Alpha King Raul walked out of the pack house.

He had a smirk on his face, coupled with the satisfaction of seeing him alone which would make things easier for him. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Took you long enough, how was your trip?" He asked as Alpha Mitch stopped just a few steps away.

"Get my Omega here now". Alpha King Mitch ordered, his voice was rich with authority.

The men surrounding him instinctively took a few steps back terrified by the intensity of his voice.

Alpha Raul clenched his jaw as he watched his men falter after just a few words.

"Why would I want to take what’s yours Mitch?

I have zero interest in your Omega, why would you think I have him?" Alpha Raul asked, replacing his frown with a grin to unnerve the Alpha King before him which might not be a wise thing to do but he wanted to toy around with him before finally showing him what he had in store.

"You have a minute Raul, I’m not in a very good mood". Alpha Mitch warned and folded his arms across his chest.

Alpha Raul’s eyes narrowed, he was starting to get annoyed by how calm he was.

He was supposed to be agitated, or restless that way it would be easier to get an upper hand.

He then thought to take another jab at him.

"I heard he is your true mate, is that true?" Alpha Raul asked, his eyes never leaving him.

Alpha Mitch’s eye wavered and jaw clenched. That was meant to be a secret.

How the hell did he find out?!.

"One minute is over". Alpha Mitch said and continued into the house.

He had stepped over the threshold when his phone rang.

He has all of his attention on the phone that he did not see the smirk on Alpha Raul’s face behind him.

He picked the call and didn’t say anything before the noise on the end blasted through the phone.

He turned around to look at Alpha Raul with a glare.
