Grandpa Lin didn’t want to say anything but now that she had mentioned it it was too late.

“I will call them,” said Grandpa Lin and he contacted Yi Chen.

Two minutes later two figures left the tree house with dishevelled hair like they had also rolled in the grass. Their clothes were a slight mess and Yi Chen had a cut on his lower lip.

“This is all your fault,” said Zi Han through gritted teeth his face as red as a tomato.

Yi Chen pulled him into his arms and whispered in his ear, “You started it. I was just putting out the fire you started.”

Zi Han pushed him away and walked fast leaving him in behind. Yi Chen was fine with this too. The view from behind was breathtaking so he didn’t try to catch up.

When they joined the others, Grandpa Lin had to call Yi Youxi back and he came running out like he had won the interplanetary championship.

Zi Xingxi threw a towel at Zi Han and said, “You two really took this game to a whole new level,” in a teasing tone.

“Ma,” he said his face as red as a beet at this point.

“I am just saying,” said Zi Xingxi with a slight smile.

“Now that we won you boys should start planning for dinner. I feel like having hot pot,” said Lin Ruoxi while relaxing on the sun lounger.

“Hot pot sounds very nice. I can’t wait,” said Yi Youxi while staring at his sister with a smug look.

Ming Ming’s lips twitched having realised her brother was gloating. Zi Feiji rubbed the little nim nim’s chin while saying, “Then we are all going to be poisoned to death tonight, especially with that Yi pair of father and son.”
