The Billionaire Twins Need A New Mommy!-Chapter 718: Welcome to the House of Bellemonte
"Chacha, I don’t think this is a good idea," Second muttered as they navigated through the forest of the small island, which was known to be completely isolated.
The Order was surrounded by smaller islands, and most of them had residents. Even so, there were a few islands that weren’t occupied, either to preserve their natural habitats for wildlife or to serve as refuges. Either way, they could be considered very dangerous, as this was the wild territory.
Their little arms brushed against the large bushes that crowded the narrow path.
"How could the body get swayed into this area?" he asked, hugging Chunchun securely in his arms. "I’m sure everyone checked this island. It’s the closest to the scene. If they didn’t see the body, that means it’s not here?"
Leading the group was Chacha, holding a small stick to push leaves out of her way.
"Second, don’t you remember this island?" she sounded optimistic. "This is where Daddy threw us when we were children."
"We’re still children."
"We know this place better, and I also read about the current on the day of the incident," she explained lightly. "So if my deduction is correct, the body should be here, whether he survived or not."
She paused and rubbed her chin. "If he’s dead, the crocs would drag the body here. If he survived, the current would’ve swayed him here." She nodded, convinced. "I’m sure it’s here!"
"Should we split up?" Second suggested, following carefully. "Also, Chacha, we’re getting deeper into the forest. The restricted area is coming up."
"It’s okay, it’s okay," she chimed happily, continuing and ignoring the warning signs appearing more frequently. "We lived here for a month. It’s like a homecoming party!""
Second pouted, then nodded. "I miss our friends here."
"Me too — ahh!" As Chacha looked back, she misstepped to the side. Off the path, everything was overgrown grass. Without checking, one couldn’t tell whether the ground was level or not.
"Chacha!" Second shouted. At the same time, the black panther jumped down after her. "Oh no!"
Panicking, he carefully rushed to the edge. Seeing the slope wasn’t too steep, he jumped and slid down with controlled ease. When he landed, his eyes widened as he saw Renny picking Chacha up by the back of her collar.
"Chacha!" he rushed over, kneeling beside her.
"Ouch..." Chacha touched her leg, sitting up. Fortunately, their suits had padding on the knees and elbows.
"Chacha, are you okay?" he asked, worried. "Did you break something?!"
Renny nudged Chacha’s temple as if checking her posture. Then the panther sniffed something — blood. Renny turned its head, spotting something across from them.
"I’m okay..." Chacha muttered as she recovered, lifting her gaze. Before facing Second, she saw something that made her eyes widen.
Seeing her sudden reaction, Second panicked even more.
"Chacha, what is it? Are you hurt anywhere? Did you forget your memories? Do you not remember me anymore?"
"Second," she said with wide eyes, not looking away. Slowly, she raised a finger and pointed. "We found it."
Confused, Second turned. His gaze landed on a fallen tree trunk surrounded by leaves and algae. The place Chacha landed was a large circular depression with debris scattered around.
He frowned, unsure what he was supposed to see until he spotted someone’s fingers sticking out from behind a bush. His eyes widened.
She was right. The body was here.
The twins paused, then both approached the body. Renny was already near the toppled trunk.
When they got close, they tilted their heads, curious. Well, to be precise, Second was curious, and Chacha was excited. The first thing they saw was dirty blonde hair matted with dried blood.
"Is he dead?" Second asked, looking at Chacha.
She frowned, disappointed. "He’s alive — what a shame!"
As if on cue, the panther moved closer and bit the back of the man’s clothes, dragging him out.
When the man’s face was revealed, the twins blinked.
"Second, isn’t this..."
"Mr. Henrik Bellemonte?" Second frowned. "What is he doing here?"
"Maybe his mommy sent him here to discipline him," she guessed, but Second shook his head.
"Chacha, didn’t you read the books about the Bellemonte family?"
"Why would I when it’s easier if you tell me?"
"He doesn’t have a mommy."
"Then did his daddy throw him here like Daddy threw us here to survive?" she guessed again. This time, Second considered it.
"Maybe."
Just then, Second noticed something slithering near Henrik’s leg. He calmly grabbed the cobra before it could bite Henrik and tossed it away.
"There was a worm," he said, and Chacha giggled. "I don’t like them."
The twins then looked at Henrik again.
"Second, he looks hurt."
"Should we help him?" she wondered. "But Daddy doesn’t like him."
"But if he dies in our territory, it’ll cause more problems for our parents," Second said, then looked at Renny. "Renny, how about we take him to our hideout?"

The chopper Lola rode slowly descended into the large greenery. Florida was the first to jump off, holding the side of the aircraft before offering his hand to Lola.
She took it and hopped down. The harsh wind from the blades made her ponytail whip wildly, her ears ringing from the noise. But her composure didn’t change as she looked ahead and saw people waiting in the distance.
Men in uniform stood behind three elegantly dressed figures. In the center was a woman slightly older than Lola. They didn’t move, simply watching the Order members approach.
When Lola stood before them, the woman smiled and stepped forward.
"Welcome to the House of Bellemonte, Madam Zorken," she greeted with a practiced smile. "You may call me Iris. Iris Bellemonte."
Yes, this had been Lola’s plan when she called Atlas earlier. She didn’t want an emergency council meeting. Instead, she used her position to force this woman — Henrik’s wife — to meet her.
Lola smiled, but it didn’t reach her eyes. "Lola. The name’s Lola."
"I heard," Iris chuckled. "Shall we head to the manor? I believe we have much to discuss... including whether my husband is dead or alive."
