The Billionaire Twins Need A New Mommy!-Chapter 753: Atlas is Family
The crowd roared as Chuck’s body slammed violently against the gilded cage. The air was knocked from his lungs, forcing a sharp gasp from his mouth. His fingers curled around the metal bars.
"Fuck," he breathed, glancing back at the giant who had just tossed him like a rag doll.
The giant laughed, raising his hands to hype the crowd. None of Chuck’s punches or kicks had affected him in the slightest.
"They’d better make sure this is worth it," Chuck grumbled through gritted teeth, spitting blood to the side. "Because this motherfucker really irks me."
With that, he pushed himself off the cage and faced his opponent. The moment he straightened, the crowd fell silent for a split second before another wave of cheers erupted.

Meanwhile...
"The call. They realized I was onto them."
Silence settled between Scarlet and Yuri. The latter continued working on Scarlet’s face while Scarlet watched her quietly. The roar of the crowd reached even the makeup room, faint but persistent.
"Yuri," Scarlet called, breaking the silence. "The Order might be in danger. Do you know that?"
"How could I not?" Yuri replied without pausing. "It’s the Church we’re talking about. Of course, it’s concerning. It’s dangerous—no one would approach it recklessly."
"But instead of focusing on that, Atlas prioritized rescuing you. He sent us here just to find you, even though we’re walking in blind. That’s not something he would normally do." Scarlet’s tone was calm, but worry laced her voice.
"Where are you getting at?"
"How can you be so calm? So... unremorseful?"
Yuri blinked, lowering the makeup brush. "Would anything change if I panicked?"
"No. But we could’ve been somewhere else," Scarlet said. "Instead of being here."
Another silence fell between them. Yuri met Scarlet’s gaze, seeing the disappointment in her eyes. She couldn’t blame her. From the moment Yuri saw Scarlet, she had already known Atlas had sent her because of her.
So it wasn’t surprising.
"You have no idea how much sleep they’ve lost trying to find you," Scarlet continued quietly. "Everyone. We couldn’t even mobilize the rest of the Order because we can’t compromise this. We can’t compromise your safety."
"For you, maybe the Order is just a place that serves your interests, but it’s not for me," she added, disbelief creeping into her voice. "And I don’t think I can forgive it if something happens there while we’re here wasting time trying to rescue someone who didn’t even want to be rescued. Or at least someone who doesn’t feel remorse for everyone’s efforts."
Yuri drew a slow breath. She and Scarlet weren’t friends, but they had worked hand in hand within the Order, especially since Scarlet led the security operations. Yuri was still unaware of Scarlet’s demotion. But back then, cooperation had been unavoidable.
"I’m sorry," Yuri murmured. Then she added, "For not feeling sorry. I told you I left a note and a message for Atlas. It’s not my fault they got lost, or the voice note didn’t reach him. I understand the worry is genuine, but I don’t think I’m at fault here."
Scarlet scoffed. "Unbelievable."
"But whether I’m at fault or not, I still need to take accountability," Yuri sighed, glancing at the ceiling. When she looked back at Scarlet, a faint smile touched her lips.
"Can you contact Atlas now?" she asked. "I didn’t want to tell him what I know yet because it might put us in a difficult position, and I wasn’t so sure yet. But I guess we don’t have a choice."
Deep lines formed on Scarlet’s forehead as she stared at Yuri. Yuri’s smile widened slightly.
"Did you really think I was away just to play hero for the people here? They’re side quests. The Order serves my interests. It may sound shallow to you, but I don’t want it to fall any more than you do." Yuri huffed and shrugged.
"Above all, Atlas is family." She rose to her feet and stepped beside Scarlet. "And I protect my family."
They held each other’s gaze until Scarlet stood as well. She nodded, relief easing the tension in her chest.
"Let’s just hope we’re not too late," Scarlet muttered.
Yuri chuckled. "We’re only too late if Atlas is dead. Or the kids." She waved dismissively and walked off to find something to cover themselves with.
As she did, Scarlet studied her. "Atlas got married."
"Huh?"
"She’s in the Order now," Scarlet clarified. "So we’ll call it too late if Atlas is dead, the kids are dead, or her. Especially her."
Yuri turned, studying Scarlet from head to toe with a slow tilt of her head. "Lola Young, huh?"
Scarlet wasn’t surprised. She knew Yuri had been investigating Lola even before they officially learned about her.
Yuri tossed her a fluffy pink coat.
"Seriously?" Scarlet frowned at the garment.
Yuri shrugged with a grin. "That’s what we’ve got in here. We’ll find better clothes on the way out—if we have time."
Scarlet huffed but slipped it on, anyway. Considering she’d been walking around in just her underwear, this was still better than nothing.
"By the way," she asked while adjusting the coat, "anything you want to tell me that might be helpful?"
Yuri paused, holding a scarf similar to the one she’d given Scarlet. She stared at it, then spoke softly.
"Do you believe in supernatural events?"
Scarlet hummed in confusion. "Like what?"
"Rebirth. Time loops. Things like that."
Scarlet frowned. "What are you talking about?"
Yuri pressed her lips together, then smiled. "Nothing. Let’s go."
"Where are we headed?" Scarlet asked, watching Yuri approach the door—unarmed. "What’s the plan? Force our way out?"
Yuri chuckled. "We’re meeting the big boss."
"You mean—"
"Vito," she winked. "He knows I’ve been snooping around his turf. I’m going to borrow some weapons from him."
"Will he lend them?"
"I don’t know," Yuri shrugged. "That’s why I’m bringing you. If he won’t lend them, beat him."
Scarlet’s face twitched. Yuri wasn’t a fighter. She survived on wit, not brute strength.
Still, Scarlet nodded. "Sure. Let’s hope Haji found him already."
"Haji? Who’s that?"
"Someone," Scarlet replied. "He came with me. He knows Vito. But never mind him. Let’s go."
And with that, the two of them finally moved.
