The Bizarre Wizarding World-Chapter 776 - 466 Divine Power
Chapter 776: Chapter 466 Divine Power
The pale blue screen emitted a misty glow that reflected Colin’s delighted expression.
"The five main characteristics of the true incarnation of the Lord of Blood and Thorns."
"The distinguishing external traits of different Divine Believers and potential influencing factors—taking the Lord of Blood and Thorns, the Night and Blood Goddess... as samples."
"Comprehensive Record of Divine Descents (up to May 15)."
"A brief analysis of Divine Power..."
"..."
A large number of data entries appeared on the blue screen, most of which were content he had never seen before, with at least hundreds of entries!
This knowledge wasn’t something that could simply be written and included in the library—only content with substantial information could be archived; without his position as a councilman, he probably wouldn’t even have access to look them up; several hundred of them was already quite significant!
Colin quickly scanned through the list of contents and was almost dazzled by the choices. freewёbnoνel.com
Indeed, it was impossible for the wizards to conduct no research on the Divine!
He composed himself, suppressed his overwhelming emotions, and after a close examination, clicked on the first entry—"A Brief Analysis of Divine Power."
Without a doubt, the most helpful for him at the moment was the research concerning Divine Power!
Blood Energy was the foundation of Knight Power, Magic Power was the pillar of Wizard Power, and Divine Power was clearly also a critical component of Divine Power!
Blood Energy could strengthen the body but was not very beneficial to the spirit, whereas Magic Power was just the opposite.
But if the Divine only possessed Divine Power, then this kind of power likely intertwined between soul and body, unlike Magic Power and Blood Energy, which each had their own limitations!
This was the knowledge he wished to understand!
Although his mind was filled with thoughts, only a moment had passed in reality; Colin looked forward with anticipation, focusing on the first line of the data.
"Divine Power at first appears to be distinct from Magic Power, but in reality, many characteristics are very similar."
Colin raised his eyebrows slightly—the statement was simple, but upon reflection, it revealed a substantial amount of information.
The characteristics of a thing were the external manifestation of its essence; since Divine Power showed some similar traits to Magic Power, there was a certain chance that the essence of Divine Power and Magic Power shared similarities!
Of course, this was just one possibility; often times the essence of entirely different things can appear extremely similar externally...
He continued reading.
"...For example, in driving Divine Arts, Divine Power is also consumed as energy. Moreover, Divine Power can be replenished through Magic Power..."
As the title of the data suggested, it was merely a rudimentary analysis of Divine Power, with much of the content being summations of superficial phenomena and some conjectures of little practical significance.
However, overall, this first piece of information about the Divine had greatly satisfied Colin and proved to be very helpful.
After carefully reading through the entire content, Colin suddenly felt inspired and summoned the Golden Paper.
Pale gold particles gathered, and an ancient piece of Golden Paper that straddled the real and the ethereal silently emerged before him.
His gaze quickly landed on the line about the Red Light Breathing Method, and Colin, with his keen senses, noticed that the golden words behind it seemed to flicker almost imperceptibly.
’This knowledge will indeed help me break through my current shackles!’
Colin looked thrilled; in fact, even without looking at the Golden Paper, after reading the research on Divine Power, he already had many vague inspirations in his mind.
They flitted about like stardust, colliding and fermenting into some nebulous ideas.
Rubbing the library crystal in his hand, Colin collected his thoughts and continued reading.
...
Thus, three days passed quickly.
During these three days, the training sessions took place every evening; Mill seemed to be busy with other matters during the day, as he was nowhere to be seen.
As time went by, the difficulty of the training knowledge increased, and even Colin often needed to carefully ponder afterward to fully grasp the information.
The other wizards also had to spend a lot of time contemplating on their own after each training session.
Even Ryden did the same; in the first three days, he would still wander around during the day and occasionally, when bumping into Colin, would join him for a walk in the castle’s garden.
But by the fourth day, due to some difficulties encountered in the previous night’s training, he found himself needing time to overcome these challenges.
It wasn’t until noon, when Colin, as usual, came to find him, that he finally figured it out.
Opening the door, Ryden saw Colin’s somewhat weary face and intuitively smiled, "Did Your Excellency also go without sleep last night?"
Colin was slightly startled before nodding lightly.
Last night, he encountered a particularly useful piece of research on Divine Power which was quite challenging to comprehend, leading him to read back and forth throughout the night until he had a rough understanding.
Staying awake all night was naturally not much of an issue for him, but understanding knowledge required considerable mental energy.
He just didn’t expect it to be so apparent that Ryden noticed it at a glance...
Seeing him nod, Ryden smiled understandingly, "The training knowledge is getting increasingly difficult; we are doing well to at least have some time to stroll outside."
Colin paused for a moment, then nodded, "Indeed."
Unaware of his oddness, Ryden continued walking naturally.
The castle’s garden was on a gentle slope on the south side, offering a great view that allowed one to see the distant Sea Domain directly.
