"Here's a little magic." Leon said as he made a tray float on its own. It was already the sixth day of the one week grace he had been given to visit Earth. The diner was just about to close, so he was fooling around with Megan, James, and the other boy that he had come to know as Dominic. The only thing Dominic knew about him was a fabricated story that Leon was a talented young magician that had once worked there.

"Whoa! Is that actually magic?" Dominic was fascinated. He paused his action of hanging up his apron to watch as Leon made the tray float all around the kitchen.

Over the past few days, Leon had spent his time having fun with his friends. He wanted to imprint these memories onto his mind and the minds of his friends because he did not know when or if he would ever get the chance to see them again. 𝐟𝚛e𝐞𝙬𝗲𝒃𝓷𝒐𝘃e𝒍.c𝑜m

"It is." Leon nodded as he dropped the tray back where it belonged.

"That's cool! Can you teach me?" The young man enthusiastically asked.

"Uh... no. It's not something I can teach exactly." Leon scratched his cheek.

"Oh..." Instantly, Dominic's enthusiasm went down a few notches.

"Let's get going." Megan called the two of them as she stepped out of the back door. James was already outside. The two of them quickly left the kitchen through the open door and Megan locked up the place.

The chilly night breeze made their breaths fog up as they walked out of the alley. Megan looked to Leon.

"Tomorrow's the last day before you have to go back, right?" She asked and James turned over to look.

Leon had told them a twisted version of why he could not stay long. He essentially played into the story of ghosts and whatnot that James had been spewing. He did mix in a few truths into it. He told them that he now lived in a new world, and that he had done so after dying. He told them that he had been given an opportunity to visit them for a short time.

They parted ways and Leon returned to the hotel. The others were already waiting there for him.

"Welcome back, Master." Kaladin greeted Leon as Leon stepped into Michael's room. The man had called all of them there, including Eugene.

"You're finally here." Michael sighed from his position on a chair. He looked around before his eyes settled on Eugene. "We will be returning home tomorrow. I want to make that clear just in case you have forgotten the reason why you came back here in the first place." Michael turned his gaze to Leon.

"Don't worry, I still remember." Leon nodded his head.

"Good, I just wanted to remind you. Aside from that, I take that he is coming with us?" Michael pointed at Eugene.

"Of course." The man answered for himself.

"Alright, I will make the arrangements." Michael did not fuss over it. After all, he had a whole army of people inside his shopping bag.

"If that is all, then I'll go back to my room. I need to rest my mind a bit." Leon said and turned around to leave.

When Leon woke up the next day, he spent it much like the past days. However, the air was a bit heavy. His friends from Earth knew that he would be returning to wherever he came from that day, and were sad. When evening was close, Leon called Megan and James together.

Megan held James' hand for emotional support as she was overwhelmed by sadness. When Leon had died, James had been her pillar of support which held her up and they had gotten closer and bonded.

"It's almost time for me to leave. I have just about an hour left." Leon said sadly as he stood opposite the two. "I have to get ready to leave now."

"We'll miss you, buddy. Take care of yourself, okay?" James punched Leon's shoulder with a sad smile.

"You too. You guys stay safe. And also, if you let Megan get hurt, then I'll haunt you from the other side, you hear me?" Leon shot back.

"Of course. I'll rather die than let her get hurt." James gave the quiet red haired lady a small peck on the cheek.

"Be careful, Leon. And make sure you come to visit every once in a while." Megan said with a quiet voice.

"No problem. You guys take care." Leon smiled and turned around to leave. Right in front of their eyes, he vanished, disappearing in the cold night's wind.

With a sigh, Leon appeared in the alleyway that he and Michael had first appeared in when they arrived on Earth. Everyone else was waiting there for him.

"Have you wrapped things up?" Michael asked him.

"Yes..." Leon nodded. "Will I ever be able to come back here?" He asked.

"That would depend on yourself and the Nexus being. I will not be standing in as your helper for a matter like this again." Michael replied.

"Alright." Leon nodded. "Let's go back."

Michael had been waiting for that sentence and immediately waved his hand, splitting space and opening a portal to the Void.

The silver portal waved and shimmered under the enamored gaze of Eugene.

"Let's go. We've wasted enough time." Michael said and waited for everyone to pass. Leon paused at the portal and took a look behind him before passing through the portal. He did not know when he would come back, or if he ever would. He needed to reach the stage of Godhood before he could even step foot into the Void. Whether he would be able to return here would largely depend on how impressive and powerful he became later on.

"Farewell, Earth. Till when next out paths cross." Leon sighed to himself before walking through the portal. The bright silver light temporarily overwhelmed his sight before he found himself in the starry Void.
