"Oh, okay . . . " Mei said

"Oh, and don't expect to see Ali for a little while . Her mission should take a while . "

"What?!?!" Mei gasped

"But . . " Mei trailed off

"Yes?" Sora replied calmly before saying "Do you have a problem with this arrangement?"

"No . . . it's just that she wanted me to ask you about letting us set up a dance studio in your house . . since we will be staying there"

Saying that sparked another thought into Mei's mind

"And speaking of us staying at your house . . i feel it's improper for a male and a female to be staying in the same house together if they are not married . . " Based on Mei's past, being raised in the orphanage and then a strict old mans control, she was raised to follow ancient culture

"Why? Do you think I will do something to you?" As Sora said this, his voice was cold

"N-no Sir, I . . I just was raised to follow ancient culture, and . . . well, I don't really know you to well . Besides, we aren't even married yet . . " Mei didn't mean to say 'yet' it was purely a slip of tongue .

Mei Koi thought that it was probably Ali rubbing off on her

"Yet? Are you implying that in the future we might marry??" Sora smirked a little to himself

"I- I didn't mean that, it was just a slip of tongue . . " Mei said whilst blushing

"Well, if you really want to follow ancient culture . . . " Sora paused

Mei thought to herself 'Phew . . I'm guessing he's about to say then he will arrange for me to stay someone else, like maybe in an apartment . . ?'

Sora continued "Then we could get married . " Sora said that with a strait face

"Wh-What?? Umm, haha?" Mei didn't know how to react but sensing the awkward atmosphere, she said "I-I'm going to go see Ali real quick before she leaves . . "

When Mei turned around to leave Sora's office, she could once again feel Sora's eyes watching her departing body . .
