The CEO’s Villainess Childhood Friend (Web Novel)-Chapter 194: Ch.194 Found Daddy (3)
Ch.194 Found Daddy (3)
In today’s language lesson, they had learnt the words daddy and mommy. Luo Luo did not completely understand the sentence but he was very clever and guessed Tom’s question. He nodded then shook his head and pointed at Qiao Moyu, “Mommy.”
Then pointed at Yet Peicheng, “Uncle.”
Tom did not know the word uncle. He pointed at a couple walking towards them and quickly said, “This is my daddy and mommy!”
Around them, many classmates also ran towards their own parents and Luo Luo was picked up by Ye Peicheng.
He asked, “Luo Luo, were you happy in school today? Did you meet a lot of friends?”
Luo Luo nodded his head. The sadness from this morning swelled up again but he did not want others to see him sad because he was a man. So he put on a smile, “Happy!”
While his heart added, but I missed Mama!
Ye Peicheng drove the car and Luo Luo sat in the child seat at the back with Qiao Moyu beside him.
The two adults asked Luo Luo everything about kindergarten. The little fellow gradually got more and more excited and told them which friends he met today and what words they had learnt today. He also added that the simmer-fried ribs they had at lunch was very yummy.
Once home, Qiao Moyu went to change in the bedroom while Ye Peicheng and Luo Luo played outside.
The little fellow thought of something and asked Ye Peicheng, “Uncle, do you know how to say uncle in English?” He decided he wanted to tell Tom tomorrow.
Ye Peicheng replied, “Uncle.” Luo Luo imitated, “Uncle…”
Luo Luo repeated it a few times so he could remember the word. He then thought about the conversation he had at school and in a small voice he mumbled “Luo Luo only has an uncle, no daddy.”.
This unintentional murmur of his made Ye Peicheng’s heart sore. He picked up Luo Luo and placed him on his knee, “Luo Luo, do you want a daddy?”
The little guy thought for a while, “Moummy said daddy disappeared and she is still looking for him.”
Ye Peicheng felt even more heartache and kissed Luo Luo’s tiny face, “Baby, uncle is your daddy!”
The little guy stared blankly then shook his head, “Luo Luo doesn’t believe it!”
Ye Peicheng thought of something and went to the fridge to get a piece of durian. He placed it in his mouth and quickly added, “Look Luo Luo, you like to eat durian. Uncle also likes it.”
After that, he opened the photo album in his phone and searched for an old photo, “Look Luo Luo, this was when uncle was small. Doesn’t it look like Luo Luo?”
The little fellow did not know what to look for but under Ye Peicheng’s influence, he felt it did and nodded his head.
“So uncle is actually Luo Luo’s daddy!” Ye Peicheng’s eyes were full of sincerity.
Luo Luo was moved but still suspicious, “Really?”
“Truly!” Ye Peicheng thought for awhile then used children’s language to explain it to him, “Uncle lost a baby before who was the same age as Luo Luo. When uncle saw Luo Luo, he knew it was the baby that uncle had lost before!”
The little guy’s eyes sparkled when he heard this and happily said, “So uncle is Luo Luo’s daddy!”
His sound was very crisp thus the recently arrived Qiao Moyu also heard it.
She stared blankly and immediately met Ye Peicheng’s eye.
He waved at her, “Little Moyu, come here.”
Qiao Moyu sat down, “You just said to Luo Luo…”
Before Ye Peicheng could speak, Luo Luo happily continued the topic.
He happily held on to Qiao Moyu’s hand and the joy within his eyes seemed to overflow, “Mama, Luo Luo finally found the lost daddy!”
Qiao Moyu did not know what to say. She could not bear to cause hurt when she saw her son’s eyes and slightly smiled, “Yeah, Luo Luo found daddy!”
Once the little fellow had Qiao Moyu’s confirmation. He no longer had any reservations and happily called out “Mommy” then turned to Ye Peicheng, “Daddy!”
In a split second, Ye Peicheng felt as if his heart had been hit by something so hard that his eyes even turned slightly red. He reached out his hand and stroked Luo Luo’s soft hair then in a low voice he said, “Yes, Daddy’s baby.”
