58 Zehar's Defeat

Zehar fell silent, contemplating his decision. After a few moments, he finally responded, "No, Dionis, I'm sorry. I don't want to participate in any fight."

Sighing, I whispered to myself, "I didn't want to choose this option for you, man." Then i sent a signal to my 5 men.

All five of them approached Zehar from behind towering him, ready to fight.

Zehar, however, seemed unfazed by the brewing tension. Seated calmly, he stared at me with an icy and emotionless expression, "So you want me to submit to you by force? Never!" Zehar shouted defiantly as he suddenly sprang from his seat, launching a vicious double kick to my face, causing me to fall backward, out of my chair.

Reacting swiftly, one of my men seized the opportunity and pushed Zehar to the ground. Yet, Zehar, a formidable opponent, quickly regained his composure and leaped back to his feet, now facing the five opponents who stood before him.

Meanwhile, I struggled to regain my senses after the forceful blow to my face. My vision was blurred, and I blinked repeatedly, trying to make sense of my surroundings. My nose throbbed with pain, and my entire face felt like it was on fire. Slowly, I managed to stumble to my feet, still in shock, until the blurriness finally subsided, and I regained full consciousness.

Wiping the blood from my nose, I started to wander triggered through the prison block. I noticed my fellow inmates had moved the tables, creating a wide open space where my men and Zehar were facing off. Driven by rage, I searched for a blunt object, eventually out of annoyance and rage I grabbed the heavy metal table.

With all my strength, I lifted the table above the floor and held it high over my head. All the inmates started shouting out of excitement hyping me up even more.

My body tensed, veins bulging, and eyes nearly popping out from the exertion. I charged toward Zehar from behind, and as my men noticed my approach, they started to flee in panic.

Confused, Zehar turned to look behind him, only to be confronted by my furious and demonic expression. He had no time to react before I hurled the massive table, weighing over 80 kilograms, directly at his face, knocking him out instantly and crushing him beneath its weight.

Standing there, witnessing Zehar's unconscious body and the blood gushing from his head, I felt satisfaction emotions coursing through me. However, as the adrenaline subsided, my body gave out, and I collapsed to the ground.

I closed my eyes for a few moments before abruptly opening them again, finding myself in the juvenile hospital, beside me laid in the hospital bed Zehar and two of my men.

While the boss of the former cat gang sat on my bed. Confused by the situation, I asked, "What the hell is going on?"

"Dionis, you beat Zehar! Now you're a fucking goat in this prison!"

Perplexed, I responded, "Goat? Come on, man, enough with these animal names. First, I was a lone wolf, and now I'm a goat? What does that even mean?"

Laughing, he clarified, "Hahaha, it means 'Greatest Of All Time,' but we use it here to say that an inmate accomplished something big."

Taking it in stride, I said, "Well, I guess that's good. Anyways, how are my men and Zehar?"

He provided an update, "We suffered minor injuries from the fight with Zehar, but he, hah, he was severely damaged by your attack. He has a concussion, but he should recover in a couple of days. As for you, my friend, a lot of your veins exploded, which is why your eyes are completely red right now and your entire body covered in bloody patches."

"Oh damn for real? is that bad" He gave me a small mirror to look at myself, "Oh, damn, I look like a demon! Hahaha."

The boss's tone turned serious as he warned, "Yes, it's bad. The blood supply to your brain was cut short, and if you hadn't received prompt treatment, it could have been fatal."

Taking the information in stride, I replied casually, "Alright, noted. Let's go back to our cell base."

Surprised by my apparent lack of concern, he inquired, "Aren't you even a bit worried?"

"Nah, It's still not the right time for me to perish," I replied, getting up from the hospital bed and preparing to leave.

However, before I could open the door, a nurse burst in and accidentally slammed the door on my nose, causing me to fall backward.

"I-I'm so sorry!" the nurse apologized profusely, bowing deeply.

Standing up slowly, I mumbled to myself, scratching the back of my head, "Sigh, why am I always getting hit on my nose in this god damn place."

As I started to walk away, the young nurse grabbed my hand to stop me and said, "You can't leave until the doctor gives the green light!"

Annoyed, I looked her in the eyes and retorted, "Tsk, alright," pushing her hand away and reluctantly lying back on the bed.

She proceeded to check on all the patients in the ward, including Zehar, me and two of my men, before leaving.

Frustrated, I slammed the bed, complaining, "Shit! Now I'll be stuck here for more than a year."

The former cat gang boss chuckled, "Hahaha, you're the boss, dude. You have a lot of privileges now. One of the men took the blame for everything. Don't worry."

"Oh? Phew, good shit then!" i excitedly exclaimed.

After a few minutes, the former cat gang boss left the ward, and I drifted off to sleep until morning. It was my first night in juvenile prison, and yet, I was already lying in a hospital bed. I sure was a troublesome guy.

A couple of days later, only Zehar and I remained in the ward, both of us still recovering. The atmosphere between us was tense, and we avoided making eye contact. However, I needed him on my team, so it was time to recruit him into my gang, The Fool.
