The Crowned Greed: Transmigrated into a Demonic Dragon-Chapter 156: SLAP!
"Hm, you’re smarter than I thought." Dante nodded in satisfaction, seeing the different limbs in front of him.
Two arms and two legs, just as he asked.
The two remaining giants waited in terror and shame for any sign from him.. Their fighting spirits had shattered completely against what Dante had revealed.
They didn’t know what silver Ether was, and with the power of the mask, even though it didn’t affect the silver Ether much due to its unique nature, the silver Ether became harder to notice.
Dante didn’t know how anyone would know about the silver Ether to begin with. For him, it just looked like a random silver energy, but it was always better to be safe than sorry.
So, from their perceptions, Dante was so strong that he could block all of their attacks with either the black magic or some random spells like the silver shield.
There was no hope.
And for soldiers like them, severing their own limbs to survive was the most shameful thing they could do. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
They now stood with one leg and used different spells to support their severed one.
Dante smiled under the mask and held the first leg, infusing it with chaos energy.
The leg quickly changed and turned into a twisted ball of tentacles and mutated parts.
"Tsk, why always the tentacles? They look disgusting, man." Dante clicked his tongue and moved to the second limb.
The giants held terrified looks on their faces as they observed that. They saw a lunatic playing with their limbs like that was the most normal thing in the world!
After Dante finished the limbs, he moved to the corpses of their friends. He first took the burned, headless corpse of the stone giants, using Chaotic Mutations to turn it into a twisted corpse filled with chaos energy.
He had to be cautious with the second one. It had tens of spikes covering it, which were slowly disappearing due to having no vitality to support their growth.
Unfortunately, his spells didn’t care about the caster. If the spikes pierced him, they’d try to invade his body as well.
BOOM!
So he burned them!
The flames burned the shadows inside the giant body and burned her flesh. The scent of cooked meat spread for a few seconds before Dante dismissed the flames.
Then, he infused it with chaos energy.
"Well, one more thing and you’re allowed to leave. I’m feeling generous today." Dante said with a joyful voice before getting two bags from his ring.
He put one leg, one arm, and one corpse in each bag, then handed them to the giants.
"These are gifts from me. I hope you like them, ladies."
The giants accepted the bags out of fear, and one of them couldn’t even hold her tears upon looking at the terrifying state of the corpse of her friend.
But as they were about to turn around and leave, they heard Dante’s voice again, asking: "Wait, I heard that there is something that can make you teleport that you giants have. Do you mind telling me to show your gratitude?"
His voice suddenly became colder: "And don’t dare lie to me. If I notice that one of you is lying, the other will get an ’extra’ gift."
A shiver ran down their spines, and the Rank 1 giant was the first to respond: "I don’t know! I only know that it’s a relic, believe me!"
Dante turned his head toward the Rank 2 giant. She took a deep breath and answered: "I don’t know either. I only heard that the commanders borrowed that relic from a master. I don’t know if the relic still belongs to that master or if it’s not tied to the soul of the current user."
Dante nodded in understanding.
The relic owner could obviously lend the relic to someone else without losing ownership.
For example, Dante could let Elizabeth use his dagger and the decaying effect it had, but he could summon the dagger at any time against the will of the one using it.
But if he wanted, he could also give the dagger permanently to Elizabeth and let her gain the ability to summon and dismiss the dagger.
That was safer for the dagger, as she could dismiss it before it could shatter. But Dante wouldn’t do that without trusting her, because if she had bad intentions, she could keep the dagger to herself.
In other words, if the owner of the relic didn’t trust the borrower completely, Dante could shatter the relic!
"Thank you for your help. I’ll give you more gifts if fate arranges another meeting between us!" Dante joked and waved his hand, causing the giants to flinch while walking away in complete surrender.
After they left his sight, his careless behaviour disappeared as he sighed in frustration.
’Acting like a lunatic black magic user is truly exhausting. I don’t think it suits me.’
Dante felt disgusted by some of his own actions. Honestly, he didn’t like the idea of turning the corpses into those disgusting forms and giving them to their friends as "gifts."
However, he had no other choice if he wanted to look like a dangerous threat and make them retreat or reconsider their plans at least.
But what was really pitiful was the corpses of the slaves.
’I didn’t really mean killing them...’
They were slaves of his enemies, but this didn’t mean they deserved death.
When his clone was attacked, Dante’s instincts forced him to attack!
He shared senses with his shadows, therefore the pain was also shared. In Fafnir’s case, he could control what he wanted to share, but when there were shadows that he controlled directly, the pain was unavoidable.
Once he felt a spear piercing him, his brain registered the slaves too late, and that bitch used them as a cover!
His mind subconsciously switched blame to the demoness, his eyes looking at her with hatred and disdain.
She was unconscious after everything Dante had done to her, but her condition was better than before.
That was regeneration!
SLAP!
Dante grabbed her hair and lifted her up before slapping her beautiful face.
"Wake up, pinky whore!"
