Kai woke up to the smell of bread baking. Sunlight was coming through the window. He checked the system first thing.

Good progress. She was feeling the pull now. Guilty, but needy. Exactly where he wanted her.
He got dressed and went downstairs.
Elara was in the kitchen, pulling bread from the oven. Her dress was simple blue cotton, but it hugged her chest and hips. She looked tired, like she hadn’t slept much. When she saw him, she froze for a second, then forced a smile.
"Morning, Kai," she said. Her voice was quiet. A little shaky.
"Morning," he replied. He leaned against the doorframe. "Smells good."
She set the bread down. "Thank you. Thorne likes it fresh."
She glanced toward the back door. Thorne was outside chopping wood. You could hear the axe thumping.
Kai stepped into the kitchen. "How did you sleep?"
Elara’s hands paused on the bread. She didn’t look at him. "Not great. The dreams again. Worse than last night."
She lowered her voice. "I woke up... soaked. I had to change my nightgown before Thorne noticed."
Kai kept his tone calm. "It’s okay. Like we talked about. Your body is just waking up to what it needs."
She finally looked at him. Her eyes were tired but bright. "I know you said it’s normal. But I still feel like a terrible wife. Thorne was so gentle this morning. He hugged me, kissed my forehead. Said he loved me. And all I could think about was... you."
She swallowed hard. "I almost cried when he left for the woodpile."
Kai walked closer. Not touching her, just close enough that she could feel him there.
"You’re not terrible," he said. "You’re human. You love Thorne. That hasn’t changed. You still cook for him, take care of the house, smile when he comes home. That’s real love. But your body has its own needs. It’s not betraying him to listen to them. It’s just... taking care of yourself too."
Elara’s shoulders relaxed a tiny bit. "You make it sound simple."
"It can be," Kai said. "As long as no one gets hurt. Thorne doesn’t need to know. You can still be his wife. Still love him. This is just... something extra. For you."
She let out a long breath. "I want to believe that."
"You can," he said. "Trust me."
She looked at him for a long moment. Then she nodded slowly.
Kai changed the topic before she could overthink it. "I haven’t seen much of the village yet. Can you show me around after breakfast? Just walk me through it. I don’t want to get lost if I go out alone."
Elara blinked. Then she smiled—small, but real. "Yes. I can do that. It’ll be nice to get out of the house for a bit."
Breakfast was quick. Bread, cheese, a little jam. Thorne came in, ate fast, kissed Elara on the cheek, and left again. "Back by dinner," he said. "Love you."
"Love you too," Elara replied. Her voice was steady, but her eyes flicked to Kai for a second.
Lira came down, grabbed bread, said "Morning!" and ran out to help a neighbor.
After the dishes were done, Elara untied her apron. "Ready?"
Kai nodded. "Let’s go."
They stepped outside. The air was cool. Chickens clucked. A dog barked somewhere.
Elara walked beside him. Not touching, but close.
She pointed ahead. "That’s the blacksmith. Finn works there—Lira’s boyfriend. He’s nice. Works hard."
Kai looked. "He treat her good?"
Elara nodded. "Yes. Sweet boy. A little shy, but he cares about her."
They passed the well. Two women were filling buckets. They waved at Elara.
"That’s Mira and Lila," Elara said. "Mira’s married to the baker. They have three kids. Good people."
Mira smiled at Kai. "New in town?"
"Just visiting," Kai said.
Mira’s eyes lingered on him a second too long before she went back to her bucket.
Elara kept walking. "The market is up here. Not big, but we get what we need."
The square had a few stalls—apples, potatoes, cloth, some herbs. People nodded hello to Elara. A few stared at Kai.
"Everyone knows everyone," she said quietly. "Hard to keep secrets."
Kai glanced at her. "We’ll be careful."
She nodded. Her cheeks pinked again.
They left the square and walked toward the fields. The path got quieter. Wheat swaying. Cows in the distance.
Elara stopped near a small shed. "This is where Thorne sometimes stores tools. No one comes here much."
She looked around. No one in sight.
She turned to Kai. "I’m... still thinking about last night. Your taste. How it felt in my mouth."
Her voice was low. Shaky.
Kai stepped closer. "It’s okay to want more."
She looked up at him. "I do. I want it so bad it scares me."
Kai touched her arm lightly. "Then let’s do a little. Right here. Quick. Safe."
Elara glanced around again. Then she nodded.
They moved behind the shed.
She knelt fast. Her hands shook as she pulled his pants down.
His cock was hard already.
She took him in her mouth without waiting. Deeper this time. She moaned softly around him.
Kai put a hand on her head. Gentle. "Good girl. Just like that."
She sucked harder. Her tongue moved. She looked up at him with wet eyes.
After a minute he pulled her up.
"Enough for now," he said. "We don’t want to push too far yet."
Elara stood. Her lips were shiny. She wiped them with the back of her hand.
"Thank you," she whispered. "For being patient. For making me feel... okay about this."
Kai fixed his clothes. "You’re doing nothing wrong. Remember that."
She nodded. "I’m trying."
They walked back to the house slowly.
She stayed close the whole way. Her arm brushed his a few times.
When they got back, Thorne was still out. Lira too.
Elara stopped at the door. "Thank you for the walk."
Kai smiled. "Anytime."
She went inside first.
Kai followed. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

He closed the door behind him.
She was breaking faster now.
Soon she would beg for the real thing
