The Dark Extra: Awakening of SSS-Skill Demon Emperor Legacy-Chapter 67: Milenia Demand
Chapter 67: Milenia Demand
Milenia cast a flirtatious glance at Agares. She stood and approached him, sitting down right beside him.
The floral fragrance coming from her made his mind foggy, and he swallowed hard.
"Well? Are you interested?" Milenia asked as she gently caressed his hand and back, her touch sending a shiver of desire down his spine.
"I don’t have a choice!"
"Good."
The woman brought up her personal menu again and opened her inventory. Clearly displayed, she took a magic staff and gripped it in her right hand.
Milenia rose and moved to sit in a single-seater sofa, then explained her request to Agares.
"My staff still lacks one more material to enhance it. I need a gem with water affinity to increase its power," Milenia explained.
"I want you to find me a high-quality gem or core with water affinity for my staff."
"Huh?"
Agares was truly stunned. That was not at all the kind of request he had expected.
"You... don’t want to sleep with me?" he asked.
"I don’t sleep with a man unless he truly wants to. It just ends up feeling awful," Milenia replied calmly.
"I figured it would be better for you to go gem-hunting than to waste time in bed with me. You could actually use your strength for that."
The man before her fell silent. There was a bit of relief in not having to sleep with her—but now he was worried. Where would he even find a gem or core with water affinity?
If Milenia had to ask him for it, that likely meant merchant Lo didn’t have it in stock. It was too specific in both element and quality.
"So Lo didn’t have it?" Agares asked. Milenia shook her head in response.
"I didn’t find it," she confirmed.
"Maybe someone else already bought it."
"It’s fine. You can help me obtain it."
"Where can I find it?" Agares asked. Milenia smiled.
She displayed the dungeon panel of all the floors she’d explored. It was clear that she had explored up to 66th floors before stopping at 67. She explained further.
"You can find such gems or cores on floors 67 through 70."
"I heard one of the floor bosses there has water affinity."
Agares went quiet. He might have the strength to reach 70th floors, but it would take time—probably around two months to reach that far.
Still, no matter the risk, he had to keep his promise to Aoi.
"I’ll defeat them!" Agares declared confidently.
"Good. Once you’ve got the gem or core, come back here. I’ll trade it for the Whispering Leaf of Shrine."
"Alright."
With the deal settled, Agares excused himself. He thanked Milenia for requesting something like this instead of asking for his body. Milenia gave him a graceful smile.
"I still want your body, but not tonight. I’ll wait for you, my favorite customer."
"I’ll never touch you."
"Haha, I can see that—Mister Virgin."
There was nothing else left to discuss. Milenia walked him to the front door. Once Agares stepped outside and walked away from her mansion, Milenia went back inside to rest.
On the way home, Agares couldn’t help but dwell on what just happened.
He had sold off many water-affinity boss monster cores because he had no use for them at the time.
Now, getting those from the dungeon merchant was simply impossible.
"Why did I sell all of them?!" he groaned.
"Sigh!"
"Regret always comes too late."

The Next Morning.
City of Midgard.
Agares had made up his mind—he would return into the dungeon. This time, from the 60th floor to the 70th floor. Who knew how long it would take, but he would give it his all.
’The deepest anyone’s reached is floor 80. I’m not sure I can survive that far,’ Agares mused.
He sat in the living room, floating his sword while opening the Enhance menu. It wasn’t just Milenia who needed gems—he also needed one for his own second Enhance Core slot.
Thanks to his increased stage and level, more Augment Core and Enhance slots were unlocked. Before heading out, it was best to get properly equipped.
"Master Agares!" Aoi called as she walked down from the upper floor in her fox form.
Agares turned and smiled. He took his sword and closed the enhancement menu, then stretched his hand so Aoi could stay in his shoulder.
"How did you sleep?" he asked.
"Very well."
"Good."
"Where are we going now?" Aoi asked curiously.
"We’re going exploring the dungeon again. We might be lucky and find that last contract material."
Aoi smiled brightly. She raised her paws and cheered, excited that Agares was still trying to secure the material for their pet contract.
Agares smiled faintly—no need for her to know about last night’s talk with Milenia.
"Before that, let’s do some shopping."
"Let’s go, Master Agares!"
After making sure Aoi was ready, Agares headed out—not to Goro’s tavern or Milenia’s house, but to merchant Lo.
Aside from checking for gems for his Augment Core and Enhance Weapon, he also needed to stock up on HP and Mana Potions.
Since he’d be challenging the higher dungeon floors, it was bound to be dangerous. Agares needed more potions than usual.
"Welcome. Shopping first thing in the morning? How extravagant!"
"Give me 30 HP Potions and 30 Mana Potions."
"Alright."

Agares handed over 300 Monster Cores. Lo passed him the pouch with the potions, and Agares stored them immediately.
"Anything else?" Lo asked.
"I need a gem with darkness affinity."
"Darkness affinity gem? Let me check."
Lo opened his system database and searched for darkness gems. Luckily, he had five in stock—each with a different quality level.
"There are fewer darkness gems than I expected," Agares noted.
"That’s because not many adventurers have a darkness affinity."
Of the five gems shown, two were high-quality, one was mid-tier, and the rest low. Agares wouldn’t waste his precious core slots on anything less than high or supreme quality.

"Here you go," Lo said, handing over the items after Agares paid.
Agares nodded and took the gems, planning to equip them once inside the dungeon. That was all he needed for now.
"Good luck out there."
The man turned and walked away. Aoi, still perched on his shoulder, asked which floors they were heading to.
Agares told her—floors 60 to 70. There was something important he had to find.
"Is it the Whispering Leaf of Shrine?" Aoi asked.
"That’s right."
Unexpectedly, a group of adventurers came from the dungeon’s crystal stone, crossing paths with Agares, who stood out in his all-black outfit. One of the mages froze, struck by a sense of familiarity.
The party leader stopped walking when he noticed the mage’s expression.
"What is it, Elisa?"
"I think I just saw Agares."
"Are you sure?" the leader asked, stunned.
"Yes. He just passed through the crystal."
"This could be valuable information for the Kingdom. We’d better return to the surface and report it."
"Agares is on floor 55."
